I've had2 3rd offense drinking n driving in my past nothing to be proud of but instead to be scared of . This time I honestly only was pushing my bike hours later after it stalled but had been drinking n was arrested for drinking n driving. Joseph was honest enough to tell me if we took it to trial he would give it his all but and believes we have a 90% chance of winning but there is a 10 % chance the jurors would look at my past and convict me and I would do 5- 8 years and ask if I was to take that chance. I wasn't, I'm not . Joseph has fought and kept me from going to jail and has also fought for me to be able to battle with my cancer at home. What I'm trying to say is I wasn't just a paycheck or just another client to be pushed and over with . He fought for me as my own individual like he will do his next client. Thank you Joseph!

Brian is a lawyer like no other. I have been dragged through family law courts in multiple states and it took Brian (after 5 other lawyers failed) to help remedy my interstate child custody case.
He's brilliant, no doubt. But he will also allow input from his clients. And despite my insistence at times, he always choose and counseled on the moral high ground. The law firm is damn expensive, but Brian is a thoroughbred (although he still retains his barking-like tone, perhaps because he is a former cop.)
Seriously, though, this man could teach other lawyers and judges a thing or two about how the system SHOULD work. And odd as it may sound, his motions and responses were artful as well as efficiently written.
He does have one Achille's heel- he's a Notre Dame fb fan.

Mr. Morley stepped in at the end of a nearly 4 year long mediation with the Award in my favor. My first attorney did a great job, too, but, ultimately, I felt that the case needed fresh eyes due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. We lost our mediator in the 12th hour. My interpretation of what had been written was different than that of my first atty. I interviewed Mr. Morley and he interpreted the verbiage as I did. Therefore, Mr. Morley argued those points on my behalf and finally got the Award entered.
Mr. Morley keeps in close contact with client's like no other attorney I've worked with and doesn't nickle and dime the client to death. I appreciated this as well.

To all the staff at Grewal Law....specifically Ashlee.
About a year ago my family began a journey that I knew would be an uphill battle. Looking into my daughters eyes and seeing the tears on her face made the decision to begin that battle an no decision. My wife and I began our search of an attorney who we thought would have my daughters best interest in mind and would listen to all the facts and would be able to advise us accordingly. Being a father who didn't have much faith in the Friend of the Court system I knew we would have a lot of tough decisions ahead of us. We interviewed another attorney who had advertised themselves as a member of the ADAM (American Divorce Association for Men) and would fight for fathers rights. From the start of this initial consultation my wife and I felt he was not listening to what we were saying and told us we were crazy for trying to obtain custody of a minor child who was already living with her mom. We had pleaded and tried to get him to understand it wasn't us trying to get custody. It was our daughter indicating she did not want to live with her mother and stepfather any longer for a multitude of reasons. It was very disappointing as I was hoping that with this ADAM advertisement they would have been more on my side so to speak. We repeatedly indicated to him that we knew we had to try as our daughter was hurting. He continued to tell us that we didn't really stand a chance but if we really wanted to pursue it that he would represent us. Not the answers or attitude we were looking for. So we moved on to our next firm and were immediately struck by what we found.
Ashlee Lynn sat down with us and immediately we felt that she was what we were looking for. She was honest about the challenges that we would be facing with the Court, Judge and opposing counsel. While we were discussing our case at one point I looked at Ashley and asked her this one question, " will you fight for our daughter"? She without hesitation said "absolutely". So my wife and I left her office that day and sat in the parking lot discussing our options and made the decision very quickly that yes Ashlee was the type of attorney that we were looking for.
In the months ahead we went through several ups and downs in our case but always Ashlee and the staff were honest and professional and kept us informed of what we needed to do. At one point we had a meeting with Ashlee and Mick Grewal so that we all could discuss how the case was proceeding. I will never forget but Mick and Ashlee turned to my wife and I and said, "this is what we are going to do for (daughters name)". My wife and I almost cried. My faith with the Court came down to Ashlee and our case preparation, documentation and the facts. We thought , wow, that's how it should be. Not about who has the best or highest paid attorney but about the facts.
After many many phone calls, emails, court hearings and what seemed like an eternity our daughter got the decision she (and we) were looking for. Through her guidance Ashlee was able to walk us through a very difficult 9 months. I am very glad we made the decision not to just buy into some advertisement. As it turned out the opposing counsel was working at that other firm we initially interviewed.
I am generally not a fan of writing or reading testimonials but my wife and I felt that everyone should know the professional job that Ashlee did. Maybe more importantly is the type of person that she is and was willing to be more than just counsel.

Just rude. Cut me off thinking he knew the answer to my question. Of course my case was with his predecessor so he did not want to be bothered. I was just looking for a copy or how to obtain one of my case with Scott, but he never even let me finish. Now I am being garnished for something I filed bankruptcy on in 2014. I kept the paperwork for nine years and right after I threw it away, thinking I was in the clear i got agarnishment for 65

Eric Shepherd is a great lawyer! He is very professional, and puts in the work for your case. I had called around and gotten a few different quotes, but from my first consultation, I knew I made the right choice. My appointment with Mr. Turnwald was very thorough, and I had the entire process explained to me up front. As soon as I had everything to them that was needed, he got it all filed extremely fast. I never feel like I am missing out on something that is going on, because he is very good about sending me the information he gets, so I always know if something is going on with my case. In the past, I have had lawyers that don't make me feel like they care about my case, but that has never been the situation here. I am very happy with the service I have received so far, and I would recommend Gene Turnwald to any of my friends and family.

I don't understand why, but my experience with Mr. Turnwald has been pretty unsatisfactory to say the least. While handling my bankruptcy I was given specific information by Gene only to receive opposite information by his secretary. I have been given deadlines for certain things that needed to be filed ,only to HAVE to call them numerous times later on to remind them to do it. They never seem to know who the hell I even am. This is after my fee has been paid to them in full. His secretary is never on the same page with Gene. Ever. Gene didn't even know that she filed my bankruptcy before I had found all of my creditors. Any time I call I feel as if though they think I should be paying extra to ask questions. I would never go through him again. Hopefully I can get ahold of them soon to remind them of my ammendment deadline. This is really important and I already paid for it to be filed. This has been a nightmare of misinformation and unprofessionalism .

Without going into too much detail a Not Guilty Verdict saved our lives!!
Mary Chartier is a fantastic Lawyer and really is impressive during trial.
She will not back down from prosecutors,judges,etc.. Killer cross exams and attention to detail is just part of what makes Mary the best criminal/trial lawyer. Mary is super personable, realistic, straightforward, and a fantastic person. One of the hardest working and committed persons that I have ever met. She has the unique ability to be such an easy going fun person. However, when the time comes to be tough and fight for her clients no one can fight harder or be tougher than what I witnessed from her in court.
We also had the pleasure of working with Amy Ronayne Krause at C&N. Amy is so sweet and caring you might forget how amazing and qualified she is as a former prosecutor and judge. Amy is a wealth of knowledge and experience with the compassion like I have never seen before. I am so glad Amy joined the team and really helped Mary with out with our defense.
Another main player in helping our case was Kurt Krause. Kurt like Amy and Mary is a brilliant Attorney. We spent a lot of time with Kurt at many Pretrials, Motions, and a preliminary hearing. He excelled at all. Kurt was able to give us great life advice along with the best legal advice during the long wait that the criminal justice system . He managed to reduce the bond and work hard to make sure we were informed and up to speed with everything we needed to know.
I also need to say the rest of the staff we worked with are fantastic too. Chartier & Nyamfukudza, P.L.C. has my praise on all aspects of the Law from the beginning to most importantly The "NOT GUILTY" at trial. The jury needed only a few minutes to reach the NOT GUILTY conclusion as this team of lawyers is the absolute best in my opinion.

I drove an hour to see Gregg and Ben. I already had a lawyer, who was incompetent, so listening to them I was relieved of the extreme stress I was carrying. It was an usual case, where I was trying to have my Service Dog returned. Gregg was the epitome of professional. He listened to what I said and informed me what evidence I had. I sent him what he requested. The communication was excellent and Gregg and Ben had my sweet boy home in no time. I couldn't recommend him any higher. If you need an attorney , you can't go

Absolutely worst attorneys I hired this attorney and paid over $3,000 he barely did anything only a couple meetings with me and file some paperwork when it come time to show up for court he forgot to come so my whole case got thrown out then I tried to get some of my money back if not I'll because he ruined my case the attorneys new the judge so everything got washed not even 3 months later I get another bill from Bailey and Bailey Smith through the Adam attorney team of Lansing so I suggest anyone that reads this please do not use this company as they are fraudulent and they will take your money.
