I hired them cause they were all I could afford after my ex walked out with our savings account. They managed to get the job done but they're were condescending, barely communicated, canceled phone meetings if they just didn't feel like answering my questions, didn't keep me appraised of the progress and were rude and nasty and belligerent when I followed up. They seemed to care more about being buddies with my ex's lawyer than representing me fairly and fighting for me. It was a traumatic divorce already made worse by their attitude. If you can afford any other lawyer, do it. Don't use these guys unless you like being abused and are really desperate for your divorce to be finalized (I was).

John and his assistant Sophia made a very difficult and stressful situation an easy process. I didn’t know what to do with my situation and they were great in explaining everything to me and making me feel at ease and confident that I was in good hands with them. My realtor advised me to contact Mr. Morey Law Firm in order to get a probate.
My aunt and uncle had two Levy County lots since the 60’s. They both passed and I inherited the lots. In order to having them under my name for future needs I needed a probate.
As soon as I contacted Mr. Morey Law Firm they guided me through every single step to get the needed probate.
The Last Will and Testament was in Spanish as we live in Puerto Rico. They took care of the translation as well. Here in Puerto Rico the Last Will and Testaments have to be processed through a certified Attorney, not just a Notary and be registered in Court immediately the document is signed and witnessed. Therefore the process is quite complicated in order to get all the required original and certified documents directly from Court.
Mr. Morey Law Firm through his wonderful Assistant, Junrey Quico took care of everything for me until completion of the process. And finally I was able to get the desired probate.
Now both Levy County lots show my name in the Titles.
Therefore, I am extremely grateful of the kindness , expertise and service rendered by Mr. Morey Law Firm.
Definitely I can recommend them.

I’m writing this as a warning for special needs parents who are looking for legal help. We contacted Shay almost two years ago, needing help with a special needs trust and a birth certificate issue. She said she could handle both for us and we paid 3k up front. During the next 18 months, we had to consistently call her office for updates regarding the trust. It took over a year for her to finish writing it, and then when we finally received it, we found she had written the wrong name down for guardianship. A big error!
As for the birth certificate issue, it never got fixed. We would call her office every few weeks for an update. But finally, we just stopped calling and we haven’t heard from her in over 6 months. This entire experience was horrible for us! I’m shocked that her rating is as high as it is on here… We paid her 3k and baaarely got half of what was promised.

Richard Hornsby if you need a fantastic attorney it would be Richard Hornsby. I used Richard Hornsby's father somewhere in the 70s.Don't hold me to it, but it was somewhere in the 70s.And he was such a fantastic attorney.He was somebody that wasn't easy to forget and I never did. And when I needed an attorney again, I was saddened to find out That senior RIchard hornsby was now with us only in spirit.and I was haveing such a hard time I was praying I could I afford him.my fingers were crossed I thought to myself it's so nice to know.There's still a Hornsby out there and if he's anything like his father then that's who I want,! And need!
