I had a car accident almost 3 years ago ,and to say the least it was traumatizing and I was not sure what to do or how to handle the matter. Raffi Ohanian deserves more than five stars for pursuing to obtain me the best settlement for my car accident! It took over a year to settle, as the other driver's lawyer ignored all of Mr. Ohanian's daily contacts, until that lawyer finally answered!!
Mr. Ohanian consistently kept me updated on my case, and made himself available whenever I needed to speak to him. He was compassionate and supportive in working with me, as I was seriously injured in this car incident, and still have not fully recovered.

Injury due to vehicular accident. I sustained an injury during a head-on collision on Nov 6 last year and I was taken to the ER for some minor treatments and checks. During the first few days thereafter, I’d called a few injury attorneys, but none wanted to take up my case due to the nature of the accident. I had a terrible car accident in January 2022. While stopped at a red light, my car was torpedoed by a car, that was rear ended by a speeding jack knifed 18 wheeler. Not only was my cars undercarriage obliterated, but I sustained unbearable nerve damage. In despair and in constant pain, I needed help. With all the personal injury attorneys that advertise via television commercials, it was hard to determine who could help me best. I was referred to Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell by a family friend. Best referral ever. I felt comfortable because of the good review from that family friend, and on top of that, they were close to my home base in the Pasadena area.
My case took many unforeseen twists and turns. My Attorney, Michael O’Connor, was able to help me navigate through them all. When I was facing a nasty divorce and child-custody battle, I did a lot of online research and discovered that Gary Kearney was the most respected family-law attorney in the Pasadena area, highly rated by clients and peers alike. I retained him immediately after a brief consultation interview. Over the next couple of years, Mr. Kearney helped me not only to resolve the divorce to my satisfaction but also to combat my ex's attempts to stall, complicate, hinder, and vex the custody case over my son. Thanks to Mr. Kearney and his team's efforts, today I have 80% custody of my 14-year-old son and I'm very happy with the divorce settlement.
In terms of demeanor, Kearney is extremely professional, poised, calm, and caring, and he was also very patient in answering my barrage of questions. I would also add that Kearney has a splendid legal support team that includes the delightful Laurie (paralegal) and Darlene (legal secretary), both of whom provided not only timely and efficient service but also sincere emotional support throughout the long ordeal. I can't say enough good things about Kristen and her team. I was referred to her by a friend who had gotten great results for her divorce to a narcissist, and who won her custody case. I was quite reassured after working with Kristen to discover she is a solid lawyer with proven experience and expertise in family law. I had started my divorce case with another lawyer, and when I wasn't getting good results, I went in search of a new lawyer. Kristen and her team easily picked up my case and ran with it, always making me feel like a priority. They had so much empathy and integrity throughout my entire divorce process. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!. Mr. Schweitzer handed off my case to a junior attorney, Brooke Mulligan, and she proved to be completely incompetent. When I asked to have her removed from my case after making multiple major mistakes, he said he would oversee my case more personally. She continued to make constant costly and time consuming mistakes and actually argued with me twice, once in front of Don, regarding a subpoena that she served to the wrong entity twice and was going to serve incorrectly for the third time. When I again asked to have her removed, Don didn’t even have the professionalism to respond, but while I waited to hear from him, they continued to bill me until they conveniently used up all of my retainer. He never did have the courtesy to respond to me and make an effort to correct their mistakes. Divorce is bad enough but there is nothing worse than having an attorney who is not on your side. Brooke and Don, you know what you did, my file and emails prove it. You should be ashamed.

DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM!. Mr. Schweitzer handed off my case to a junior attorney, Brooke Mulligan, and she proved to be completely incompetent. When I asked to have her removed from my case after making multiple major mistakes, he said he would oversee my case more personally. She continued to make constant costly and time consuming mistakes and actually argued with me twice, once in front of Don, regarding a subpoena that she served to the wrong entity twice and was going to serve incorrectly for the third time. When I again asked to have her removed, Don didn’t even have the professionalism to respond, but while I waited to hear from him, they continued to bill me until they conveniently used up all of my retainer. He never did have the courtesy to respond to me and make an effort to correct their mistakes. Divorce is bad enough but there is nothing worse than having an attorney who is not on your side. Brooke and Don, you know what you did, my file and emails prove it. You should be ashamed.
