We retained our own lawyer in an adoption case because of the incompetence of the adoption agency's lawyer. Strachman stayed on target through multiple hearings and kept the case moving along. He ensured the termination of parental rights of both birth parents and helped foster an open adoption agreement between us and the birth mom.
His communication is direct, succinct, and realistic. He helped seal what should have been an easy case. He is pricey, but it's worth every penny!

When I was getting a divorce, he was extremely professional and was intimidating at first but it was a good thing against my ex-husbands attorney and I got way more than I thought I ever would. Yet it was a very fair settlement considering my ex owed me for taking all of my credit which I have great credit now only after a few years apposed to 7 years or more!

It is difficult to rate a lawyer. Obviously you like your lawyer if it goes your way and not if it doesn’t You can get lucky with a judge who takes your side which may have nothing to do with your case or your lawyer. We all know that the judicial system is most definitely partial. I feel that I am in a good place to review as I had several lawyers for my divorce and following the settlement. Oftentimes the law does not protect you even though it has made a ruling and it is necessary later to go back to court. Finally, Steven Wright was recommended to me by a lawyer acquaintance. The difference between Steven and all others was his knowledges of the law, his diligence, skill and honesty. He answered my questions before I had them. He immediately had a plan and a task list. He was also amazingly compassionate. My ex husband is a scoundrel. I had no idea of the difficulties I would face. My only regret was that I hadn’t found him from the beginning. Steven will work for you, not for an easy settlement as many do. He knows the system and the people to get things done. In no short order he saved my dignity, my career and my children from the anguish divorce will cause. I am not a person that writes reviews on anything because I believe opinions vary and are not always helpful. I’m writing this now because if I had Steven as my lawyer from the start I would have saved a lot of time and money and that is not an opinion- it is fact.

Steven worked with me on my divorce and custody case which certainly was not the easiest. Neither he nor I expected for my case to be as contentious or drawn out as it was, but he great about easing my anxiety and ensuring that I didn't back down on anything important. Attorney Thomasian provided an exceptionally smooth experience. I reached out to him as soon as I could which unfortunately for me was not a weekday during normal business hours. To my surorise though, he was able to reach back out to me and listen to my problem. He let me get as much off my chest as I wanted. The man really listened. (I apologized a few times when I had realized how long I had been talking but he had no problem at all with it.)
He told me calmly and confidently what he would be able to do for me should I retain him to represent me. At various stages of the process he continued to calmly and confidently reaffirm what he would be able to do for me. Being treated like a member of humanity really helps people hold it together when they are going through tribulations. I felt that Attorney Thomasian was gifted in such a personality trait.

You’ll always have the upper hand; the more reasonable proposals, the better articulated documentation, the more personal lawyer-to-client relationship, etc.
If you’re overwhelmed and anxious and cut her off seventy-five times, she speaks calmly the seventy-sixth time, even though you don’t deserve it, because shes really there for you.
She’s just the whole package, already in the court room before you or the other party get there, ready to carry you through the darkness. I wish I was kidding, but it’s actually that dramatic.

My husband and I had a DCYF case open against us and throughout the whole ordeal and without judgement Kevin was there. He was always available to take a phone call or to make a phone call on our behalf. He was always at court and never sent a proxy (NEVER!). You could tell he genuinely cared and it wasnt all for money which from my experience is a rare trait for a lawyer. He advocated for us and got our case closed almost 4 months early. He was our voice in a system where we really are not given one. He explained to the judge that we are hard working educated individuals, good parents and although we have our issues we were/are addressing them.
I hope I never need another family attorney but if I do I will definitely be calling Kevin!

I hired this woman in August 2016. She seemed like she was the BEST she was so ready to take my case on.. She was so confident.. But then the case started. She lied to me she didnt respond to me when i emailed her. And now its almost August 2017 and i still dont no whats going on with my case..
