Chris helped my mom out with a claim against an insurance company for an injury she suffered from a car accident.
Chris was able to explain the process to her with exceptional detail, and never made her feel like she was asking stupid questions.
He set appropriate expectations, so that we knew what to expect and followed through with his promise and his commitment.

So this happened when my father was looking for a lawyer since the lawyer i had didnt have great communication skills. My father wanted to get a second opinion from another reputed lawyer. My father and i spoke to Jaye. She was kind enough to provide over 3 hours of free guidance. She didnt demand to get any payment (very unusal of a lawyer to give free advice). She knew she couldnt represent me as she didnt work with Essex county. She was always available to give me free advice and guide me in the right direction when i needed her support. Lawyers like her will keep your legal fees low and help you get out of the divorce as quickly and as elegantly as possible. She understood where i was coming from and more than that she understood what a father goes through during this tough time.
It is unfortunate she didnt work with my county. She is very competent, great work ethics and treats her clients like humans. Again if she can represent you in your county, please do not hesitate to reach out to her. She is the best out there.

Atty. Sabrina Bonanno helped me in a criminal defense case. After the first time we spoke, Atty Bonanno started preparing my case instantly. She would answer all my questions as well as let me know what to be prepared for or expect could happen in detail. It became apparent to me just after a few conversations Atty Bonanno was in my corner and representing me 100% in my best interest.
Whenever we had court date, I felt confident knowing I was well represented. It’s a great feeling having someone go the extra mile to represent you and be as prepared as Atty. Bonanno was.
I will never use another attorney again and would highly recommend her to anyone. You will never be disappointed with how hard she works for you, returns all calls and emails promptly and will prepare you and your case.

Attorney Bonanno was an absolute miracle worker in the two cases that she represented me in. She was extremely well prepared in these cases and communicated perfectly for over 2 years. The pandemic pushed back my cases for multiple years, yet Sabrina never lost focus on me as a client. She has utter confidence, and always made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly highly recommend Sabrina if you need a rock-solid defense, tact cross examination, and straight to the point arguments. The jury in my trial could not disagree with her, and truly understood the definition of real proof. I have moved out of Boston, but she would absolutely be my attorney if had still been in the area.

Attorney Bonanno was court appointed to me. And I am very Blessed that she was my attorney. She listened to me, and was always very clear as to my options. From the first time we meant until the trial, was just over a year. I meant with her several times in court, and in her office. She was always very professional, and treated me with respect the whole time. She worked extremely hard on my case. As a result I was found not guilty! Like many of us, you suddenly find yourself in a situation where you need an attorney but you see hundreds of them listed. My ex-wife had hired an attorney from Franklin Mass who was touted as a "super attorney" by his firm. Needless to say, I was concerned.
In short, I cannot say enough about Bruce. He is not only a wonderful guy, his 30 plus years of doing this made the "super attorney" look inexperienced. For over a year we heard opposing counsel say "this won't happen..." and that won't happen, taking cheap shots along the way. Bruce handled everything professionally and these things DID happen (as Bruce said they would) and we won.
That said, no one wins in a divorce. But if you need to go through this miserable process, you'll want Bruce. He'll carefully explain things, listen, and firmly correct you when you do something stupid (like I did on a few occasions). He is well-liked by opposing attorneys and judges. And, Bruce charged HALF what the supper attorney did. Just a wonderful guy. You won't go wrong.

My divorce and custody process was challenging taking over six years to completion and Bruce came in as second council about three years into the case. Bruce was up to speed and engaged in getting the best outcome for me and my children. Bruce's knowledge, experience and compassion made navigating the case much easier.

How to proceed through a divorce. The first step I would recommend is to seek this gentleman's advice. I was faced with a divorce from a embittered spouse. Bruce and I met and his knowledge, intelligence and calm manner throughout the process made the difference. I have no reservations about my choice, if you are reading this and thinking of hiring someone, Bruce will take excellent care of you.
I was reminded by Bruce throughout the process of the goal, that is to end this unhealthy relationship without causing irreparable harm to my children. I was able to take the 'high road' with confidence knowing that Bruce has a keen understanding of my situation, no matter how low the other side went.
I will say that he did the work when it came to the financials and division. I was at a loss as how to proceed, Bruce was able to explain to me how it will all work out.
I have two children that Bruce understood to be my main focus. He kept each one of them in the forefront of his thinking and together we were able to reach an agreement with the other side that kept my children protected from the process.
The entire length of my proceedings, a year, Bruce was always in contact to keep me updated and allow me to keep him informed. While Bruce has assistants, to delegate some of his workload, I was always greeted by and met with Bruce.

When it comes to Attorneys, I’ve always gotten the impression that their time was more valuable than mine, and if I wanted actual attention, I was definitely going to be billed accordingly. With attorney Symanski I found the exact opposite. He set a fair price and then charged me exactly that despite how many consultations and changes occurred along the way. He was incredibly sincere and diligent regarding my case, and I also found that he genuinely cared not only about how he did his job, but also about how that performance ultimately resulted in favor of my family and me going forward. I’m incredibly grateful and recommend this attorney very highly.

Michael was wonderful! He is knowledgeable, down to earth, and mellow. He was exactly what I needed to keep me grounded through my divorce with my high conflict ex. Max Perlman represented me at the extension hearing of a 258E order in which I was the defendant. Mr Perlman is smart, confident and articulate. He successfully argued that the order need not be extended and offered several relevant points of law to support the argument. The order was vacated. Mr Perlman was respectful in the courtroom while handily neutralizing any objections by the plaintiff. Mr Perlman was accessible, compassionate and relatable. He is a very good lawyer and I would recommend him highly.

Max D. Perlman represented me in my harassment prevention order case in which he cross examined the plaintiff. He did a great job asking questions during the hearing. I had hired Mr. Perlman last minute but he did everything he could to make sure that this harassment order was not extended. He was able to answer any questions I had and informed me with everything I needed to know. As a result the order was vacated. Mr. Perlmans work is greatly appreciated and I would highly recommend him.

I never thought I'd be writing A great rating for a lawyer, they usually don't work very hard and they take all your money. But I can tell you Brian Ward is an excellent attorney, he's quick, sharp, to the pt, and as honest and reasonable as they come. I'm very impressed with him. Used him for a trespass issue with my psycho neighbor and we intend to use him in family court in dealings with my husbands crooked ex. He's great! His wife is a too notch real estate lawyer too. They dont leave u hanging and know their clients. Exceeds expectations, never lazy and he won't break your wallet. My lawyer recommended Judge Smoot for a highly contested divorce involving both division of assets and parenting plan.
Judge Smoot’s background is as a judge, he told us literally what a judge would most likely do and gave his fair feedback. Sometimes my ex did not like this and sometimes i did not. That is the point of mediation. He was especially great at keeping my ex’s rage under control and keeping all feelings leveled.
I should add that both Judge Smoot and the office managers and assistants were very pleasant, kind and caring. I have already recommended them to friends and family.

If you are taking the time to read these reviews, you are more than likely in the same extremely stressful, nightmare of a situation I was in before I made the call to Attorney Sam Caccavale. Trust me when I tell you, it is absolutely worth making the call. Sam was and still is incredible. My workers comp. injury case was dragged out for almost 2 years because my company and the insurance company fought us every single step of the way and I can honestly say Sam is the reason I got treatment and benefits. He is right there with you through every step and knows exactly what needs to be done. He is always on the ball with what you need to be successful in the fight you will more than likely face. He is very well respected by the Judges you will go before and they all were impressed with his work. One of the things as a client, I appreciate most about Sam is his honesty. There's no question that he is looking out for your best interests. He's a good man and it shows. So if you're in a tough spot and need legal help, do yourself a huge favor and call Sam.

Used David Levin to form multiple LLCs. Everything was great until an error was discovered a few years later. Refused to take responsibility and blamed it on another party. I even offered to have him speak to the other party for clarification or even request an official document from the government entity that will demonstrate his error. He ignored the offer and kept blaming the other party. He is now retired but be careful when using this law firm. That type of behavior is a reflection on the firm and not just the individual.

This attorney is hotheaded, which is not what is needed in an already heated legal scenario . He’s also arrogant and condescending which is also not helpful when trying to navigate a difficult legal scenario - I know because the judge in my case clearly had a disdain for him because of it and ruled against my order . I also heard from a colleague that he badmouths his clients afterwards - in a way that makes him vulnerable to a slander lawsuit in fact - I experienced this personally, very grateful to my new attorney sharing with me what Emmanuel had said to him. Honestly, I’m very happy to see his political attempts fail time and time again as he’s definitely not what the Southshore needs. Should his repeated attempts ever be successful I will feel the need to step forward. . He goes on luxury vacations with his family while using his mom’s difficult experience and his upbringing as a political ploy in the hopes for sympathy or pathetic attempts to relate to other hard-working citizens and Hanover. He’s dishonest at worst and disingenuous at best.

When you hire Emmanuel Dockter, you hire a true advocate for yourself. He is a seasoned professional that knows the law and how best to present your case to the judge for a favorable outcome.
When researching attorneys for my transition from child support to alimony - I knew that I needed someone with courtroom experience, intelligent arguments, and excellent negotiation skills. A friend of mine had used him for a messy divorce case where child sharing was an issue and was very pleased. I wanted someone to fight my case.
I got so much more than that, Emmanuel was sensitive and aware of final costs, clear and effective communicator, clearly passionate, he actually listened to me and I felt like he cared. That fact alone surprised me and was a very different than my prior attorney experiences.
Alimony laws had been changing – I had no idea what to expect. I was nervous going in, but after meeting with Emmanuel, I felt that he would be the one to help me - - and he did! The outcome of my case was better than I had anticipated.

I am a past client. I wanted to give some time between my dealings with this attorney and posting my review so I could perhaps post most objectively. This is the first time I have completed an online review for this sort of professional services. However, I feel so adamantly about the lack of professionalism and expertise of this attorney, I have been prompted to rate him wherever possible to save other potential clients during what is likely this most vulnerable time of life. As suggested in the title, I had a very similar experience to the previous poster. However, I will add that this attorney was further unprofessional and unethical by talking about clients to unrelated others - both to me about other clients and about me to other unrelated people who then passed on to me what they referred to as "inappropriate and unprofessional comments" by him - inflating his billing, submitting unclear, incorrect Motions, and arrogant overconfidence in the Courtroom which ultimately hurts his client and doesn't bode well for trying to settle with the opposing attorney. I was originally interested in his practice because of his partner who is older and seemed to have lots of experience, but he answered the phone and I ended up stuck with him. Anyway, I later observed that she seems to not do much beyond being a figurehead anyway. I would adamantly discourage anyone from hiring this attorney. There are plenty of other options out there - many good ones, but this is not one of them.

Bob is probably the worst attorney you could ever hire for nine years he strung me along. I am over my head and look at an auction date in a couple days. This guy is a loser the worst person you could possibly hire. Please move forward with someone else. Listen to my advice I got screwed over by him Wake up and do not use him as a attorney he absolutely has no credentials to be an attorney. He should be disbarred.

Hello all, I’m not sure why this attorney got 5 stars. I have to say when it’s come to money his happy to talk, Once you pay him that’s it, Cabana is a terrible attorney to work with. His unprofessional, doesn’t get any paperwork done till a day before the due date, to the court. He does everything at the last minute, Very disorganized all your Important documents will be on the floor, he doesn’t have a safe place to put documents. Dirty office as call “attorney office “ Lol. He yells at you when you try to say something that he didn’t do. What funny about him the day of the court he doesn’t have a ride. I have to take him with me, you think while riding he will tell you what to expect from the judge nope. He slept till you arrived. This is the worst attorney. He owes me I give up on him terrible, terrible, terrible, do not hire him. If you do hire this man tell me what you think. By the way this was a Divorce case.

Be aware, Gave Brian 10,000 deposit was the only time he answered his phone or texts. Ask to have an update on filings he was suppose to make every Fridays, never did once ! February till May never did anything on my case. Caught him in many lies. Asked for all my info and my deposit on the same day he then started working on my case too little too late NEVER got any money back for ZERO work calling the State Licensing board and Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers Today!

Attorney B. Sullivan failed to prepare a written fee agreement for us to sign as required by Massachusetts rules. Subsequently, B. Sullivan filed a lawsuit in Barnstable District Court,, B.S failed to file a default required by Massachusetts Court rules. B.S. again failed to provide documentation at the hearing that “ explained the contract language”
and identify the lien and draft a more complete financial statement. As a result of B. Sullivan’s egregious negligence and incompetence, the trial court dismissed the lien and lawsuit. B. Sullivan continues to restate false claims to the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers to avoid disbarment.

I LOST MY DAUGHTER in a Custody Battle with a Narcissist ABUSIVE Man ! After receiving $45,000 Plus in Atty Fees and hung the phone on me (Her Paying Client) Was rude and disrespectful and just withdrew because I LOST EVERYTHING over $250,000 My Retirement and Daughter ! Had she had been a Better Attorney and Defended me and was as Rude, Mean and Aggressive to Me HER Client with the Opposing Attorney Maybe she would have had a chance of being Successful. My biggest mistake that I hired Attorney Amanda during my divorce and so lost money and time and divorce prolonged. Amanda does not understand what she is doing and her each move was helpful to opposition. She often took her own solo decisions on behalf of me. Despite my requests she never did any subpoena or discoveries. I felt that she was guided by opposition attorney (but was paid by me)! Non-reliable, hard to trust, and without any strategy! Worst attorney who don't work for her client and take a responsibility but helps opposition in real. Will NEVER RECOMMEND (0 / 10)!

She will change her rate or threaten to drop your case. She will tell you what you want to hear and then she will totally blow it in court. I can't even believe that her firm allows her to take clients because she does not know what she is doing!!! She took all my money way more than she said it would cost and then just totally did whatever my exes lawyer told her to. Like she said she was making legal services available to everyone and im a single mom who has to pay for this even though its totally not my fault we have to go to court and then she keeps asking for more money. But acts like its no big deal. Such a joke. So bad for Mothers. So bad for women.

It seemed like she had no idea whatsoever about how to be a divorce lawyer, she didn't do her job at all and got paid a couple thousand dollars...for doing nothing. I got the worst divorce agreement ever and still paying an exorbitant amount of child support since the other lawyer just kind of "ate her alive" in the courtroom, so not a lawyer to defend you in court at all, not aggressive, just agreeing and bowing to and with whatever the other part says.

My lawyer recommended Judge Smoot for a highly contested divorce involving both division of assets and parenting plan.
Judge Smoot’s background is as a judge, he told us literally what a judge would most likely do and gave his fair feedback. Sometimes my ex did not like this and sometimes i did not. That is the point of mediation. He was especially great at keeping my ex’s rage under control and keeping all feelings leveled.
I should add that both Judge Smoot and the office managers and assistants were very pleasant, kind and caring. I have already recommended them to friends and family.
