Absolute Scam and Unprofessional Behavior
Jeremy,
I hired you to help with a bogus speeding ticket, where I have clear dash cam footage showing my speed, location, and the officer’s actions before and after the stop. The officer claimed I was going 80 in a 45, wrote the wrong location of the stop, and the speed limit on that road was actually 55. My speedometer was at 61, clearly shown on the dash cam. Yet, you had the nerve to tell me you could “maybe” reduce the ticket to a 14-over, despite knowing the entire ticket was a joke.
After this ridiculous introduction, I called the very next day—over a month before the court date—and requested a refund. Your desk lady assured me I’d get a full refund. But today, I get a call telling me the case was continued (even though I fired you), and now you’re only offering half of my payment back because you “spent 20 minutes” on my case? That’s a load of crap.
Then, to top it off you have the audacity to threaten me with legal action if I dispute this scam through my bank. You’re not even competent enough to handle a simple case like this and now you’re acting like a crook. I honestly feel bad for your firm that you’re so desperate for this money, but I’ll be sure to keep on sharing my experience the community.
Keep the half—you clearly need it more than I do.

Matthew Minikus is an educated and experienced attorney, but what sets him apart is his passion and ability to fight in the courtroom. He was focused and confident as he presented my case, skillfully interviewed witnesses, and quickly objected to unfair statements. We were successful because of this but even more importantly is that he put in the work.
We went to court four times, and each time he took me into a private room to thoroughly review the case. He examined it from every angle, over and over, until we developed a strong, truthful argument to present to the judge. In stark contrast, other attorneys simply waved to their clients, had a brief chat, and then spent the rest of their time socializing until their cases were called. It was off putting and sad how some professionals can be so indifferent.
Please remember that if this is something serious don't just assume people are going to do the right thing. Call Matthew and talk to him for 15 minutes. A small amount of time to invest in your future. I'm sure you will be happy.

Hiring Steve Epstein to help me with the many issues that I was facing regarding a very complicated and messy divorce that included a wide array of valuable assets-- a very successful company, multiple homes, expensive cars, dozens of accounts of all types, in addition to his help in regards to custody, a DWI case, being in a 5 week coma, and steering me out of significant life or death substance abuse issues, was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Steve is a zealous advocate for his clients. He is also a brilliant strategist, and his organizational skills and preparedness were top caliber. Simply put, I honestly do not even know if I would alive to write this review if it wasn't for Steve. He has also been a great mentor, and has helped me in understanding how to be a better father for my little girl, and a better person overall. Let me start by saying that these reviews come well overdue.
Anna represented me in a case back in 2010 and was very professional, prompt and courteous, very detailed and very thorough. She walked me through the process every step-by-step until we came to a great conclusion in my case.
And here I found myself 14 years later once again needing representation my first thought was call Anna Smith Felts. Once I made the call, I heard Mrs. Frida‘s voice again. I think it says a lot about Anna that people want to stay and work for her for so many years. Anyways, I gave her the rundown and Anna called me back shortly thereafter and quickly put my mind at ease, in the areas that I had concerns about my case. She came up with a game plan and instructed me on how we should proceed with forward with my case and a few court dates later we came out with an excellent result, as a matter of fact, we could not have come out with a better one. As lawyers go, Alan Schneider is a ROCK STAR! He helped me with a legal matter that I will forever be grateful. For many years, he took my calls and read my emails yet never charged me.
I've known quite a few lawyers and Alan stands above them all. He should be in a lawyer's Hall of Fame. Warm, friendly and smart as a whip are just a few adjectives I'd use to describe him. I'll never forget what he did for me. To quote a line from the movie Jerry McGuire, Alan is "my ambassador of Quan!"

A few weeks before moving out of state, I was served with papers for custody of my then 8 month old son (an arrangement my son’s father and I had both previously agreed to). We did not have a written custody agreement and the baby had stayed with me full time. I was unaware anything was being filed until I was served by the sheriff while I was at work (I’m a full time Pediatric emergency department RN). Once the shock factor wore off, panic set in. North Carolina was a state where I had no family and was by all means meant to be a temporary stay. Before meeting Amy, other lawyers refused to hear me out and told me to settle, as I was bound to lose in court. I refused to accept being trapped in a state where I had no connections and upon meeting Amy, I realized she wouldn’t let me either. From day one I felt supported and although she warned me any relocation case would be an “uphill battle” she never stopped fighting to reunite my son and I with our family in our home state. Amy is personable, professional, and has a good relationship with the court as well as other attorneys. Without her expertise, approach, knowledge of the law, and attention to detail, I truly believe I’d still be fighting for my rights to come home with my son. Amy and her team sorted through thousands of text messages and pictures to develop a portfolio for my defense. I’d 100% recommend Amy. She not only met my expectations as a lawyer, she exceeded them.

Nancy Grace and her paralegal Erin were excellent handling my QDRO after my previous attorney messed things up. Their communications and work were clear and efficient. Even though Nancy is not the cheapest attorney, she made most of the time that was charged. I only wish Nancy Grace had represented me through my divorce. It would have costed a lot less. I am glad I listened to recommendations from other attorneys to work with Nancy.

Nancy Grace took care of everything!
She had the knowledge and experience to guide me through my difficult divorce. My Ex did not want to give me alimony and we had to fight an almost 2 year battle. But we prevailed and I am able to live comfortable now versus my fear of struggling to get by! She was able to calm me down when I was upset, talk me down when I felt like I couldn't go on, and lift me up when I was defeated.

I've had to good fortune to know Parker since she was recommended to me during my divorce some 20 years ago. Through the years, we've stayed in touch, and I have recommended her to numerous friends in need of help with divorce or adoption. Hands down, Parker is one of the best family practice attorneys in the region. As impressive as her command of the legal ins and outs of divorce, what I found - and still find - most impressive is her command of how to manage the emotional aspects of divorce (especially when children are involved as was the case with my case) with the negotiation strategies that's needed. Parker's advice was spot on about when, what and how I should advocate for myself, and her focus on the long term picture helped me navigate the short-term emotional mess when a marriage dissolves. When I felt indignant or angry over a counter-offer about some minor debt my "future former" and I shared, Parker wisely counseled, "Roger, in the long run this is pocket change. It's not worth the fight because there are more important issues for us to take a stand on."
And she was right. Years later that advice to focus on what's really important in the long-run (that helped design a fair separation agreement that didn't engender long-term resentment) helped us work through a particularly thorny financial issue. And Parker was there right by my side again offering just the right guidance to help me come out of that negotiation (we were able to avoid court, thankfully) in a = good place. Moreover, Parker went out of her way to help keep my legal costs to a minimum.
Parker's a great attorney, a great individual and I'm proud to say a great friend. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
