There were 16 five-star reviews when I last checked, and I am number 17 to also give her a 5-star review. That tells you something. Tehan knows the law and is efficient in representing her client(s). She displays all those great qualities described in the other reviews and more. I know she was totally committed to me and my case in the way that she communicated regularly and personally with me. Still, she is a no-nonsense lawyer who will give you homework and communicate with the court to let you know the status of your case. She explains court postings from eflex. My Ex threatened to bankrupt me. Tehan used the law to protect me. It wasn't painless, but what was done, she did in a way to provide the best outcome for me and my financial stability. She advocated fiercely on my behalf. This may sound corny, but Tehan is a hero of mine. I am very grateful to have had Tehan Slocum as my counsel. You will be glad also! John has been my lawyer for at least a year now assisting with my stressful divorce. He is an honest lawyer who won't act on a request simply because you ask; if he believes it’s not the right or fair course of action, he will not proceed. He fights for what’s best and just for his clients, especially when children are involved. Although I wasn't 100% satisfied with the outcome of my divorce and custody battle. As he mentioned in every litigation, you can’t get everything you want. I trust that John’s expertise and understanding of the judge led to a fair result. He doesn't just do what you want to charge you more or unnecessary; he adheres to the law and ensures that actions are fair.
I recently hired John again for a motion that my ex and I couldn’t agree on. I chose him because I know he will act in the best interest of me and my children. John is not the type of lawyer who will simply charge you for actions without sufficient evidence or necessity. Unlike some lawyers who will do anything for a fee, John maintains a high standard of integrity and only pursues actions that are supported by adequate evidence and proof.

She was very friendly at my consultant and I brought my daughter with me. I was already ripped off by my husband of 19 years and I can't touch his trust but I can get at least 1/2 his pension. I'm living with my daughter and her family which I thank God everyday for that Blessing. Ms. Miller said she could do the pension but at no time did she say that was another entity I had to hire. I sold all my jewelry to pay for this divorce below cost but I did it anyway. Then she screwed up by submitting the wrong divorce decree but a work up I reminded them the Alimony was pension not cash. So, I had to tell them it's wrong. And now, after I submit my decree to Teamsters they tell me it won't work there's a whole other paper work to go along with it. At no time did she tell me or give me a referral to the right attorney for my type of divorce. I have no money and now I have to come up with more money. She got her 1k+ what does it matter to her!

After an injury at work, I mistakenly thought the doctors that workmen’s comp sent me to would help me recover. Instead, I found that their loyalty was to the insurance company paying the tab.R. Trent McAuliffe helped me get the medical treatment I needed when workmen’s comp kept trying to close my case. It took a few years to go through the process, and I am grateful that I got the surgery I needed. I’m very satisfied with the results of Trent advocating for me. I wish I had consulted him when I first got injured, instead of several months later. Get a consultation with him as soon as possible, it’s in your best interest!

Do not recommend anyone use this lawyer. He does not seem to care about his clients. He should retire as he seems to have an early medical condition that impairs his ability to remember things that have been said. His office manners are very unorganized. I would not recommend. Learn from my mistake and pick a different attorney.

Cliff Young is very responsible and approachable attorney, my case is his priority regardless. First conversation i had with him, he is different than 4 my previous attorneys, when I drove to Nevada to see him, I felt it was ever better, he is family type individual. I do not have enough AMAZING things to say about Andriea and Ashley. They walked me through the process, they were quick to respond, led the whole divorce process and kept me in the loop at all times. I honestly don’t even know why what ex’s attorney did because Andriea was so on top of it. My ex would ask me to ask Andriea something knowing it would get done. My divorce was final 3 months after my first conversation with her. By the end, I felt like she was almost family and I always felt like she had my back. Another thing to note, is that Andriea know’s the law very well, so don’t think you or your ex will be able to sneak anything by her. Thank you Andriea and Ashley!

Andriea Aden is a straight shooter, no nonsense, gets it done yesterday kind of energy. She is a powerhouse of assertive fervor in the court room and worth every penny!! You better retain her before your ex does! I am not joking, that happened to my kids’ dad. Andriea has been championing my causes since my contested divorce in July 2017, and the wild ride of motions and modifications that have followed, and is still representing me today (12/14/2024).

Mr Hornbeck and his Secretary are down to earth and approachable. I hired Mr Hornbeck to represent me for a moving violation. He was forthright about his fees, the time it would take, and how payment would be received and processed. When it came time to go to trial he exceeded my expectations, fighting hard for me. Don’t think this is a 5 star rating because he won my case. I would still have given him the same even if the judge ruled against me. I would highly recommend Mr Hornbeck, and should I ever need his services again I wouldn’t think twice about hiring him. If you hold a CDL and find yourself needing a lawyer who will fight hard for you, look no further.

Sarah was my divorce attorney. It is obviously a very difficult situation to deal with. From the very beginning, I felt comfortable and confident with Sarah and Allie. They are both so kind and thoughtful. Allie was easy to reach and very competent and helpful. Sarah was real with me and gave me great advice that kept me from making stupid decisions. I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND hiring this office. I’m a Clinical Social Worker and my job is to advocate for my clients which is the exact opposite of what this office has done for us. It seems to me that Josette O’Mealia takes advantage of people in desperate situations. We paid her $4500 for her “services” which were to include filling out three simple immigration forms and assisting us throughout the immigration process. We met with her one time before actually retaining her and never again as we kept getting excuses for why she couldn’t meet with us. We asked her office over and over again to assist us with our process and to help us expedite our claim as I was transferring my job and my husband needed work authorization. Her office did not help and actually provided us with inaccurate legal advice saying that we “had to wait normal USCIS processing times, sorry”. We ended up filing an expedite request ourselves and submitting the additional evidence that was requested by USCIS. We were able to get my husband’s work authorization approved with no help from the attorney that we paid good money for. We voiced our concerns to Josette and she refused to address our concerns and instead was very entitled and essentially told us to deal with it or no longer work with her. It’s for this reason that we are filing an ethics complaint against this office. We attempted to resolve the issue directly with her, but she’s more concerned with taking our money for work she has not and at this point will not perform. Do yourself a favor and find a more experienced and more professional attorney. She has only been an attorney since 2019. Her office even told us they don’t do expedite requests because they have too many clients. This is exactly what we retained this office for as it was an emergency. We definitely didn’t pay $4500 only for her assistant to assist us with three forms. They had no problem taking our money, but did not do the work. Please save yourself a headache and go somewhere else!

I met Ms. O' Mealia two weeks ago when my husband and I got a letter from USCIS informing us we had an interview with only three day notification. We called this law firm because on our first interview with USCIS we used their services. We went with Att. Acosta, and we were very satisfied with his knowledge and professionalism, anyways when we called the office they informed us that she might not be able to take the case because she had a very booked day but they would call me back to let me know. Now mind you they were our only option because we only had two exact days to get ready for this interview. The office called us back within an hour to inform us Ms. O'Mealia had moved around some appointments around for us and that she would accompany us to the interview! and that she would also meet with us a day before the interview for any questions. Since we were traveling from Elko, NV 4 hours away from Reno we couldn't be at the appointment at the time we had scheduled with the firm. They again worked with us and made it to were we could come see them as the last appointment of the day. when we came in on the appointment day, of course I am worked up because this is my husbands second interview with USCIS for his adjustment of status and the first interview was so uncomfortable and invasive( even though we have been married for over a decade) so my thought process was "this is gonna horrible". She saw me right away and knew that I was all nerves. She was so kind and so helpful to put my mind at ease. She was amazing! I am certain that our interview would not have gone the way it did without her. At the end of the interview again the officer did not tell us if we got approved or not. he said " I will do another background check and we will send you a letter of our decision in the mail." So again I left with a knot in my stomach, she knew that so she checked our case over the weekend and gave me a personal phone call to inform me my husband had been approved! Like what other attorney does that? I am so grateful the guy above appointed her to be our representative. If we had to do this again I would certainly put our case in her hands without a doubt, that is how confident she was and made me feel. If you need someone confident and competent I would not look anywhere else. I wish the firm we went with had these qualities, don't get me wrong my husbands easy case turned into a two and half year dreadful case and the initial firm we went with delivered but was such a big firm and super far away that they did not have the compassion or the time to help put your mind at ease they were more to the point and move on to the next case. attorney Josette O'Mealia would have been my first choice!

I would never work with this company based on their lack of morals, rude employees, sheer lack of professionalism, and because of their abusive and harassing behaviors. They have been calling my place of employment for over TWO YEARS trying to convince us to sign up for their service. We have politely declined each time, and have now spoken to 4 separate "supervisors" who assured us that we would be placed on their do not call list. To date, I have had Legalmatch employees curse at me, insult me individually, and repeatedly call back (5+ times) after I ended calls where they were behaving abusively. They have even spoken directly with my boss, the attorney, who has said in no uncertain terms that the firm will NEVER work with or take client referrals from them due to their behavior, yet they continue to endlessly call and harass all of us at the office. If anyone from your company is reading this, your employee identifying himself as "Ty Jones" was one of the worst offenders. He used some of the most vulgar language I have ever been on the receiving end of when calling and was a repeated caller as well.

This company is a scam. I am an attorney and I would rather go out of business than work with these people. Once they find your business, they will call your office nonstop pretending to be an attorney who is looking for another attorney to take over their caseload. By the way, their "leads" are garbage. Most of the time, the lead isn't even a real person; it's a made-up scenario to scam you into paying for their referral service. They've never gotten a penny out of me, which I assume is why they won't leave me alone. I've blocked so many numbers, but they always have more. It's gotten so bad I am actually looking to bring a harassment suit against them.

Ardea was very instrumental in resolving a water damage claim which resulted in extensive damage to the first floor of our home. After 6 months of trying to deal with the insurance on our own, and the insurance company not willing to pay for the damages caused by their client's negligence, we hired Ardea. Once Ardea was involved, the insurance company finally took full responsibility for the damages done to our home and we were able receive a settlement which allowed us to repair the damages done to our home.
I highly recommend Ardea and her staff. They are very professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
