Honestly, He's a great guy and so is his staff. My Case exceeded my retainer and had about 1.5 years of effort into my case. In my opinion, divorce law is not his specialty. I do believe he did everything he could but there are things he should have pushed back on, and I mean numerous times. It was not completley my counsels fault. Rather the extraordinarily odd requests from opposing counsel. Talk about redundant. The other this lawyer could have done was let me know thousands of dollars prior that I had exceeded my retainer so I could have made arrangements with him to continue my case. Otherwise an ok attorney.

Charged an excessive amount, showed up to the hearing unprepared, didn’t even know what the hearing was for, then said well I don’t know! The judge said I would have been better off by myself than to have hired her. When I bring up my concerns after the hearing and requested a partial refund of the 6,500 that she had received. She became extremely unprofessional and emotional making threats and continuing with the lies. She even requested that I pay another 6,000 so she could do what should have been done in the first place. She says all the right things, because she is a conartist playing attorney. My advice would be never use this firm for anything other than to refer them to your worst enemy.

Crystal Phillips was an excellent attorney to work with for my divorce. I was divorced from a foreign national and Crystal was able to guide me through all the extra hurdles that come with that situation and we were able to finalize the case very quickly. I contacted Mr Getzin to take care of my divorce, I got him all the information that he requested and the payment, everything was fine on the first 7 or 8 months, but then things just stop moving, I will contact him and he will apologice and justify the fact that he was busy and other things, he say that will contact the judge and arrange the court day and prepare this paper or this other paper and that he will let me know later and update me on the case, finally I ask for copies of the documentation that he send to court and everything so I can consult another lawyer because he was taking too long, he give me nothing and told me that he could not continue with my case and that he was going to tell a "friend" to take care of it, my case was dismissed by the judge because he as my legal representation stopped doing his job, wasted 2 years time, money and stress...

My fiance and I rented a place from a local property management company. We had some concerns while we rented but we did not expect what would happen when we moved out. The company attempted to charge us an insane amount of money and threatened to take us to court even though we satisfied the terms of our agreement upon vacating the property. We felt vulnerable and just stuck; we'd never encountered an issue like this. We immediately reached out to Mr. Getzin and were extremely satisfied with our decision. I’m very pleased and impressed with Attorney Coy and her staff. They were sensitive, compassionate, patient and worked with a sense of urgency to help me through this difficult process concerning my son.
I’m not from Florida, so when looking for an Attorney many names were brought to my attention. When deciding on Jean-Pierre Coy practice, the statement made to me “You can sleep good now because you are in excellent hands”. They were right.

After being married for 17 years and 4 kids later, I never thought I'd get divorced. My husband met someone and wanted out. I did alot of research on the internet looking for an attorney and after meeting 6 attorneys in person, I chose Michael to represent me and I am so glad I did. There was no arguement about custody, he didn't want the burden of the kids. But trying to get child support, house payments and alimony was a huge fight. One of our boys is disabled and I've been a SAHM all their lives. Michael fought for me and the kids. He is a real family man as well and truely had our best interests in mind. The other side try to bully us and made false accusations, but in the end we prevailed and I am very happy with the results. Michael and his support staff were always available and kept me well informed as to the status of my case. Do yourself a favor and hire him if you are considering getting a divorce.

It is my opinion, based on my first hand experience that Joshua Sheridan with Busciglio Sheridan & Schoeb Pa. is the least experienced lawyer in all of Tampa Bay. It is my opinion that Joshua Sheridan seriously lacks skill, knowledge and experience in the matters of family law, never mind complex matters. It is my opinion that Joshua Sheridan has no understanding , considerations, or concerns for the well being of young children in any family law cases. It is my opinion that any individual considering hiring Joshua Sheridan should seriously consider very hard hiring a lawyer that is more interested in chasing dollars than the delicate matters involving the well being of your children.

The representation I received when I retained Josh Sheridan was less than impressive. He was recommended by a mutual friend with whom he associates professionally. This is the reason my expectation for his services were more than adequate to handle my case. Unfortunately, this is not what was experienced. Listed are the various reasons:
1. He was late to every meeting and was unapologetic about it, completely disrespecting me and my time.
2. Phone meetings were minutes long but I was charged for full slotted time.
3. He was less than available to advise me when needed, sometimes for days or a week at a time.
4. His paralegal only relayed information rather than facilitate productive communication surrounding my case.
5. Voiced concerns were disregarded.
6. He was unprepared at my hearing, which he requested.
After expressing my dissatisfaction with his services and informing him I would be using different counsel moving forward, he decided to send me an invoice with inflated charges that were fabricated to make me pay more money above and beyond my retainer fee.
In summation, he’s not worth the money he charges. I unfortunately learned after the matter that he won a big case and has since been very lazy and uninterested in his subsequent cases. This comes from another attorney, not a lay-person. He may have been great at one time several years ago, but believe the recent negative reviews because this is absolutely the quality of representation you will receive. I would not recommend him to anyone and I can only believe that this will not change until his “winnings” run out. This in itself should be a red flag.

I hired Attorney Saint Jour for a Personal Injury case and he did a great job on the case. He kept me informed and he fought for me when the insurance company was trying to deny my claim. I was very happy with the way he approached the case and the way he guided me through the process. I did not have to talk to a case manager or some paralegal. I spoke to my lawyer about my case. The whole process was very frustrating since I could not work and I was in constant pain. I am happy Greg was lawyer.

I hired attorney Saint Jour at the Saint Jour Law Firm to handle a Divorce with minor children for me. I had a previous attorney that did not do much and hired attorney Saint Jour. He was very understanding and kept me well informed. He explained the process to me thoroughly. He was very prompt in returning my calls and did an excellent job on the case. I was very satisfied with the result of my case as it relates to my time sharing and child support. I was lucky to have an attorney who was understanding and competent in my corner in this very difficult time in my life.

We hired Mr. Marchese to help us rectify an adoption that had gone terribly wrong (we are the birth family). He was the only lawyer who agreed to take our case, so we had no choice among attorneys. Mr. Marchese explained on the phone what our possible avenues of redress would be. He required $15,000, nonrefundable, up front and drew up an agreement stating all the things he would do. We said OK despite the big price tag because we were desperate to help our grandson, whom we were convinced had been placed in a very bad home.
After our first phone conversation, Mr. Marchese immediately called our adoption agency to ask what the situation was with our case and get some specifics. A couple of days later I had some questions for him and was hesitating a little about hiring him (had not signed an agreement yet). But he insisted that, with the phone call he made to the agency, he was already representing us and we were obligated to hire him. He insisted the $15K be overnighted to him.
The day after we sent the money, we found out that the whole adoption situation had changed. The adoption agency called us to say that the boy was no longer with that family, but had been handed off to a new family. They, in turn, had their own lawyer, who told us within a week or two that if we used Mr. Marchese's services they would shut down any possibility of working with us or letting us ever see our grandson.
So we had to tell Mr. Marchese to stand down--we had to somehow go it alone.
Even though Mr. Marchese put in only a handful of hours on our behalf, and even though the entire situation we had hired him to address had immediately changed to make legal remedies impossible, Mr. Marchese chose to keep the entire $15,000 fee. To enforce the "nonrefundable" nature of the fee in this case seems to take advantage of desperate people This was all very painful--we now had no lawyer, no assistance, no grandson, and no $15K.
I sent Mr. Marchese a couple of letters and emails asking him to consider a partial refund, since basically none of the things mentioned in our agreement letter ever got done due to the vastly changed situation. He never responded.

My wife and I had been battling a very unique immigration situation as I was pursuing my permanent residency. Mr. Marchese was not only extremely professional but it took him a very short time (compared to the other lawyers we consulted with) to understand the complexities of our situation and come up with a game plan that helped us achieve our goal. He was also very understanding and willing to work with our financial situation as we both were college students at the time. The fact that we were fairly young and had very little knowledge of immigration laws was the perfect opportunity for any lawyer to take advantage of. Mr. Marchese did the complete opposite and in fact educated us on quite a few things in the process. I would highly recommend this lawyer to anyone going through immigration issues as he is extremely sharp, hard working and very fair. If ever an immigration situation should arise I plan on returning to Mr. Marchese with no doubt in mind. The only regret I had with my experience was not putting up a review as soon as possible.

The case expenses gathered rather quickly and the final decision of the Judge didn't reflect the real picture. He was truly upset. We parted ways and I recused the Judge Pro Se. It's an uphill battle for fathers, especially in Marion County. He did his best. Wish I was charged less. I don't understand all his fees. Now it's been up to me alone to fix the destruction to the case the Judge caused.
He really cares though and does try. That's more then most lawyers.

I had Brian Bolves for an Eminent Domain case in Naples. He ignored my emails and kept my funds illegally in his escrow account ..TWICE!! He nor his assistant would reply to my emails even as I told him I would give him a one star review and write a complaint to the Florida Bar. He won't provide the necessary paperwork so i can file taxes so I have to get it from the County Attorney. I forwarded the emails I sent him to his assistant and the ones I sent to the assistant to Brian trying to get some response, No luck! Fortunately the County paid him.

I hired Ms. Vargas to assist me with a legal family law matter. She was not knowledgeable in this area of law. She was unable to accurately answer my questions or provide sound legal advice. She was not prepared for our Court date and I felt like she didn't even know the facts of my case. She has no attention to detail and provides no customer service. She wouldn't return my calls and failed to keep me updated as to the status of my case. I would have been better off representing myself. I received very poor representation and would not recommend this attorney to anyone who is looking for an aggressive knowledgeable attorney.

John said he would take my case for divorce. I gave him $500 he sent a couple of letters . I tried to reach he by phone by email, text message no response from him. In the beginning I told him I had no money because my wife had it all. He said no problem I’ll Paition the court for the money month went by nothing gave him $500 more to sign the papers . I had a court date he told me nothing about . He walked with my money. I’m disabled living on social security. Money is hard to come by so someone to take me for $1000. Is a lot to me. Thanks John

Let me start out by saying I have had several attorneys. Highly litigated ongoing family law case (8 years). John has by far been the best attorney for my case, and my husbands case as well. He is knowledgeable in many areas of the law. He is very fair in his pricing. He is honest with his clients. He wont set you up for failure, or to be let down. When he says he can get it done, he really can. One thing I can say is he defends his clients to his absolute very best ability. He is the only attorney to make me feel like he is really on my side and not feel defeated by the court system when we walk out. If I had this to do all over, he would have been my number 1 choice and I would have stuck by him the entire time. He can be aggressive or passive and that helps alot when litigating cases also. Highly recommended.

Linda stopped being responsive as soon as she received my retainer. She could not make time to meet with me in person or even a scheduled call days in advance. The majority of my emails went unanswered and any attempts to better communication were met with excuses. I eventually had to hire other counsel because we were not getting anywhere on my case. She is not someone I’d recommend to anyone going through this difficult divorce process.

Mark Neumaier is the best family law attorney I have ever worked with, period. I hired Mark because he came very highly recommended and it was the best decision. Attorney Weed and Paralegal Keating have been the main reason that I’ve been able to establish and grow a bonding relationship with my daughter. Attorney Weed was intuitive every time opposing counsel made a move to sabotage my relief from the court concerning time sharing and parental responsibility.
Attorney Weed handled multiple cases for me, all of which ending in my favor by the court.
She impressed the judges with vast knowledge about the law and preparation in applying it to my cases. She made two opposing attorneys hired by my daughters mother fall apart on separate occasions in front of the same judge.

Michael J Mooney was hired to cover a multitude of issues such as Reunification, Child Support Review and Order Enforcement. Not only did he choose to ignore our retainer agreement, refuse to take a phone calls or take my concerns seriously, he gave leniency to Opposing Party at every turn which led to outrageous costs to just see my daughter (~$3000/month not including child suport). Every piece of advice that he gave me was geared toward the benefit of the Oppozing Party (which he presented as "best interest of the child" and allowed extreme Parent Alienation) and ended up destroying my relationship with my child. To this day, the relationship between my child and I is estranged and has never been the same. We cannot get those years back. I pray that I could reverse time and have hired someone who would have actually acted in the best interest of my child. However, the damage is done and the pain is unbearable.

I was referred to Kristina by a former divorce attorney (who’s services I could no longer afford). He spoke so highly of her and told me how incredibly smart she was. I began working Kristina back in 2017 and she did NOT disappoint! First of all, I love working with someone who is down to earth and easy to talk to. I do not understand law and the “lingo” at all so she was able to translate things for me. Being a mother of three herself, she was easily relatable and understood the challenges I was facing in my own situation.
Flash forward to year 2020...I called Kristina in hopes she could help me with another situation related to our Florida case. It must be noted that I live in CA now and when I called her for help. If I could give her a negative number I would! Met with her and along the way gave her a $2000 retainer. Clearly if you don’t do any work a client would get your retainer back! Took her months to reply to tell me she won’t be giving my money back when she hasn’t done a thing! Will report her to the Florida bar and the attorney who referred me to her! Horrible Horrible Horrible. True definition of an attorney who is in it for just money. My family law case was not handled responsibly. Rather treated as a way to increase cost and shuffle paperwork. Beware of hidden cost from paralegals who conduct her work. Also, she doesn't allow communication only threw email and will charge ridiculous amounts for writing less than a paragraph in emails. She does not communicate well. Pretty much a useless family law attorney as the office probably focuses more on bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Anthony Chris Ekonomides is one of those lawyers who takes money and promises solid legal support but does not check the facts or scrutinize the details. I needed to send a legal letter to my ex-spouse who was not fully cooperating with a Court Order. Mr. Anthony Chris Ekonomides did not study the details of the case and ruined it completely. I lost my case because of his ignorance.
I would never use him again or recommend him to anybody.

Mr. Anthony C. Ekonomides is very dishonest lawyer. In my post-divorce case he has promised me a lot, and achieve almost nothing. He is approaching very aggressive, however there is no any results in Court of his tactics. He just drain money with no practical success. Even my ex-husband who is technical person, easily destroyed our case during Court hearing.
I do not recommend Mr. Anthony C. Ekonomides for any kind of defense or family case.

I was arrested on some complete BS drug possession charge and did not know what to do as this was my first time ever getting in any sort of legal trouble or any trouble for that matter. Contacted Victor and he immediately eased my concerns and clearly stated my options and what exactly he was going to do for my case. He was optimistic but very practical in the explanation to me about what was about to transpire. He is also well known in the circle of prosecutors in the area which is an added bonus as he was able to off the bat drop my felony charge to a misdemeanor. Mr. Castro represented me during my divorce. Because of his sloppiness and unpreparedness, my divorce which was NOT contested still cost me upwards of of $35K. Each session, he would ask me the same questions, making me repeat myself, almost like he wasn't listening or taking notes. These redundant sessions drove my cost up. He also failed to negotiate for my rights during the divorce proceeding and I had to do the lawyer thinking for him. My ex spouse's attorney was much more competent and prepared than him. Do not use him unless you are prepared to watch your hard earned money disappear.

Ivan took his fee for a demand letter. We texted and called him for updates and never got a reply until we filed a dispute with credit card company for a refund for lack of services. It took filing the dispute and over 30 days from him actually communicating with us. Worst, he would not call when he said he would. I do not recommend this attorney. After dispute, he finally sent proof that a letter was sent (unprofessionally emailed), he had received a response (still did not communicate what the response was!) from letter, trying to incite parties to go to court on issues a competent attorney could have settled out of court, and no acknowledgement concerning any emails/correspondence sent to him from us UNTIL a dispute was filed. Due to the fee, his hourly rate must be about $1500/hour, because there apparently was not time spend on communicating with his clients, much less time taken to prepare quality and thoughtful case to settle issues without an unneccessary, expensive court case! Worst yet, all he had to do was send proof to credit card company that there was a service rendered. Instead he threatened me and if I did not respond in 24 hours, he was having me prosecuted by the state attorney's office! This was day after he sent the proof that a demand letter had actually been sent. The letter that had been emailed 32 days prior with no communication from him concerning any updates. No we do not recommend him.
