Lawrence Markey was my attorney for a potential divorce that I was the respondent to years ago. I believed my separation from my wife was a temporary problem and kept an open mind about my family’s future. Lawrence was a very honest, caring and professional lawyer through every step of the process. He never tried to attack my wife’s character in order to get more than was deserved or needed. In short, he is one of the most moral attorneys I have ever known. Unfortunately had to go through a divorce and had to find a lawyer. When I met Ester she was very kind, listened to my story and gave me most of my options I could proceed with going forward. I wasn’t rushed or hurried in our initial meeting like I had been with other lawyers who wanted large sums just to talk with me for a short period of time and not very helpful with information. As we went through the process of the divorce she kept my emotions in check but did not dismiss them, which was nice knowing she understood where I was coming from, but guided me on the best path to pursue. But when it became apparent that we would have to be aggressive in our actions she definitely was up to it. Trust me when I say she will go toe to toe with any lawyer and will not be bullied around. Whatever you need or want to do she will tell you if it’s good or not then move forward with a plan. I can’t speak highly enough of her and how she helped me through one of the toughest periods of my life. Mr. Parmar is one of the people I respect most in my life. He gives it to you straight, tells the truth wether you like it or not. An ethical attorney with all the fierceness you need to keep you well grounded and focused on your goal. I am a good father who is facing an unreasonable X who tried to keep our children away from their Dad. Mr. Parmar gave me some hard advice to follow but I did. Surely enough, because I trusted this man, three little angels have their father back. Trust this man. Mr. Parmar. He will help you overcome anything your spiteful X will try against you. Nadine is very good! She’s so sweet and very busy! She takes time to discuss things with you and go through everything so you aren’t confused. If your case is anything like mine it’s lots of paperwork because your ex husband won’t stop taking you to court for every little thing. She is trying to help make that stop. I just wanted to take a minute to say how amazing Nadine was when we dealt with her. She was meant to be an Advocate for the child’s best interest, and she truly dug deep to really see and understand both parties while keeping in mind what was best for the child.
She changed her court order when she saw that one party clearly did not have respect for the court. Because of that action- she recommended reunification counseling. Anyone who has been separated from a child knows that isolation from one parent can have a huge affect on a child and whether or not they want to see the other parent, even if the other parent has done nothing wrong. The counseling allows the child to reconnect with the other parent with no barriers or influence. I feel it’s key in a custody battle especially when most law enforcement jurisdictions don’t force visitation. We spent a year in court trying every possible way to see her even-though we already had 50/50 custody . She listened to our pain and struggle when no one had before. As the Wife of a husband who has tried dearly to be part of his daughters life for over a decade with very little success, and no obvious allies, she stepped in and quickly saw the situation for what it was, someone finally to see the injustices that we had been experiencing for years, she did what was in the child’s best interest, she didn’t take sides she just went on the evidence that was presented before her, and I thank God for that, she was an angel to us. She is the only one who we ever felt cared, and really wanted to repair the situation for the child sake, she didn’t favor the mother, she didn’t favor the father.
She went with what they revealed to her in there many meetings and Conversations. She is truly a public servant who really cares about reunifying families whenever ever possible. I feel she went above and beyond the call of duty, and I will be eternally grateful.

Pat helped me with my divorce previously, which was a very difficult time for me. She was fantastic, helping me through the whole process. She worked very hard to ensure it was as positive an outcome for me as possible.
When I turned to her for some legal advice just recently, several years after my divorce, I was able to set up a consultation with her that same day. After researching online, I met with Pat back in July to discuss my case and options. She was compassionate, kind and very knowledgeable from the get-go, and I retained her to file a custody suit on July 29. Throughout the process of declarations, filing, serving, responding, mediating, etc., she was in constant communication and answered all of my emails within the hour -- if not just a couple minutes. By Sept. 13, we reached a wonderful custody agreement with my very combative co-parent and avoided a tenuous court process.
Pat always kept the best interest of my daughter as priority number one and advised me as such. And though I (thankfully) didn't have to see the inside of a court room to reach the custody agreement I desired, I've heard that Pat has a reputation for fighting for her clients aggressively and professionally in court. I would highly recommend her services.

Debra is representing me in my divorce proceedings. My ex wife and her attorney are trying to make every step difficult for me. Constantly intimidating me, falsely making statements, not to mention being unresponsive to emails requesting documents. Debra is a fighter, and she will fight for your interests as if it were her own. During my divorce I was amazed how caring, honest, and compassionate she is with her clients. Everything is working out for me which I thought was near impossible. I truly appreciate the fact that she doesn’t waste any time, is extremely thorough, and most importantly she didn’t let the opposing counsel get away with wasting our time when they disappeared during the remote hearings. What can I say, but Roxas Law is AMAZING! At first, the thought of going to court seemed so daunting. I had very little time with my daughter as the original court order was placed when my daughter was 3 months old. My ex moved to a different city, with no notice, and wanted to change the whole visitation pickup and hours. Therefore, I knew I had to go to court to have a new visitation schedule in place. I visited several law firms and once I went and sat down with Sandy, I knew Roxas Law was the one. She laid out all of the possibilities starting with a reasonable less costly, mentally and monetarily, approach of simply talking to one another with legal assistance, to mediation, to going to court. I knew she that could handle my extremely difficult ex and handle my particular situation with ease and professionalism.
I had not been granted access to my daughter since December 27, 2019. I started the court process in Mid January and the firm was so helpful and explained the whole process thoroughly. During this time, my ex avoided all of the phone calls from Troy and Sandy and made it extremely difficult to even serve her. Throughout this time, their professionalism never wavered and they kept me calm, as it was stressful to think that I would never get to see my daughter as my ex did everything in her power to avoid contact. After several attempts of trying to contact her, she was finally served and we had a court date set for March 20, 2020. However, everything came to a screeching halt on March 19, 2020 when Los Angeles was officially shut down due to COVID. Another disappointment, more stress, and more waiting without seeing my daughter and knowing if she was ok or not.
But, leave it to Sandy and Troy to come to the rescue! They had to inform my ex that the court date would be rescheduled due to COVID and it was unknown as to when that date would be. They reached out to my ex and asked her if the old visitation schedule could resume as it was not known when we would go to court. She refused citing COVID concerns. However, since we had a TON of evidence against her and how she interfered with my parenting time, refused to give me access to see my daughter, and many other things, her refusal would be one more piece of evidence against her. Once she was told, she quickly changed her mind and allowed my previous visitation schedule with my daughter.
We had another court date schedule for May and it was also pushed back. Throughout this time, Troy always reached out to ensure that everything was going as smooth as possible until we could go to court. If I had any issues with my ex, he was quick to handle it. We then had a court date on July 13, 2020. The big day finally arrived! Of course, I was terrified. Troy was very professional and eased my nerves and always explained what was coming up and let me know the possible outcomes. The judge granted me everything I wanted and more with the exception of full legal custody. It was a huge victory!!! I could not have done it without their help!
Bottom line, you get what you pay for. The rates are beyond reasonable for the help, experience, and professionalism you get. The entire experience can seem daunting and scary and just beyond hope. But, I can tell you that it is not! Do not hesitate to contact Roxas Law for anything you need as you will not regret it. You will have a great team behind you to get you through the ups and downs of child custody issues. A big thank you to Sandy and Troy and everyone else at the office!!!!

I now realize why they call it a custody battle. I went to war with my former spouse to get custody of our children. We did take a few blows in the battles, but I had a great commander and chief keeping me out of harm's way, her name is Attorney Karen Miller. The worst thing in the world is that our children's college money was used to finance this war. The problem is not with the attorneys but with the system. Many times we went to court, the Judge would ask us to return. I just want readers to know that I wanted to give up on many occasions; however, Attorney Karen gave me positive reinforcement to not give up on my children. We finally have our victory, and I am grateful that I stuck it out with Attorney Karen. If you do what she says, you will do well in court. It does not happen overnight to get out of your troubles, but I had to realize that our legal woes did not happen overnight either. Bless you Attorney Karen and your wonderful staff for always offering me and my family hope that we would prevail. I still owe you and your staff that dinner by the ocean.

Ms. Miller cares about her clients. I have been a client for the last 15 years since my eldest son was 3.
Fortunately he just turned 18 and is no longer a victim of his mother. I have 2 younger children, 16 and 14. We are still going to court everytime their mother wants to make a change in their stable program. Everytime their mother looses thanks to Ms. Miller's superior skills as an attorney. The children's mother has hired over 6 attorneys in the last 15 years and all have of those attorneys have been defeated mainly because I have had Ms. Miller at my side. Thank you for being a winner for my chikdren and saving them from their unstable mother. If you have a horrible ex who keeps taking yiu back to court, I would highly recommend Ms. Miller. I hired Casey because he helped a friend of mine through a divorce with a narcissist. He was her third attorney and the couple were fighting over peanuts. I was open and first interviewed several attorneys before choosing him. I liked him because, during my first conversation with him, he chatted with me over the phone for about an hour. Gave me solid free advice. After hiring him, I had no regrets. I was divorcing a narcissist too, a covert narcissist. If anyone knows anything about narcissism, you will know that they are the most difficult, toxic, and delusional people to get out of your life. At first, my ex (in narc vocabulary we call that Nex) was representing himself Proper. Casey made many attempts to meet with him to help resolve things. To no avail. Because my nex had refused to meet, Casey requested a trial with the courts. Los Angeles County is so backed up that it took 6 months just to get an appointment to meet with the judge to schedule a trial. Then that was another 3-4 months after that where we had a mandatory mediation date scheduled and if we didn't come to a resolution there would be a trial a month after that (I was told 99% of the time, cases get resolved at the mediation). All was finally on-track and then Covid hit and all cases were dropped and canceled. My new court date was in fall 2020 exactly 1 year from my initial request for a trial (obviously, none of this was Casey's fault). Eventually my nex got a lawyer and made bogus claims. Ridiculous, crazy claims that he was entitled to more of my home than he actually was. Casey knows his field. I am beyond amazed how intelligent he is. He taught me that I had a Family Code Section 2640 Reimbursement which is a pre-existing interest in my home (I had no idea). Since I had owned it prior to marriage, had my own money invested into it and it appreciated in value. We had done a remodel to the home before and during the marriage and there were some grey areas as to who owned how much. Casey helped me by having me get a historical appraisal, taught me what a Moores Marsden calculation was, and many other things. (I'm a Realtor and being educated in this has helped me with my own clients going through a divorce too). My nex tried all sorts of games, throwing stuff at us last minute. We were ready to go to trial and Casey had to file a "Motion in limine" which is where you get a judge to throw something out of court based on blatant evidence and proof prior to the trial so you don't spend your time discussing their bogus accusations and attend to the actual issues. Basically, we were requesting the other side's testimony to be excluded. We won that part of my trial because of Casey. If you want someone that is professional, intelligent, comes across with class and poise then Casey is your man. I would say the only room for improvement would be that his assistant would send me info from the other side with no explanation of what they were and I would get upset. I honestly feel that he genuinely cared about me. He also picked up on my nex being passive-aggressive. My ex is a "wolf in sheep's clothing". Casey didn't buy it and stood by my side to help me. Even when I just wanted to be out and move on, he reminded me how my nex had treated me the whole time. Casey Olsen recently brought an abrupt resolution to a divorce "science project" that had been going on for a year and a half before I hired Casey. I had two previous attorneys that were not able to get any traction whatsoever with opposing counsel. My two previous attorneys just kept asking for more money, while opposing counsel just kept stonewalling. In my first consultation with Casey, not only was he very knowledgeable but he also had a plan. He even called opposing counsel right there on the spot in the consultation. I had heard a lot of horror stories about how many attorneys will purposely keep both sides at odds to draw things out longer so they can rack up more billable hours. This absolutely was not the case with Casey. Casey chose the course of action that was in my best interest and not the best course for his pocket. His actions and direction brought a swift resolution and an end to a nightmarish lengthy situation. If you are in need an attorney with integrity, knowledge and who is responsive when you need answers, then I highly recommend Casey Olsen.
