Not sure where to begin attempting to find the right words for Erika; coming from a dad that didn’t know one thing that was involved with gaining full physical & legal custody of my oldest daughter! I first contacted Mrs.Dannemann Slater back in 2004 for child custody case after meeting with her and getting to know a little more about her I hired her right away to represent myself and my son in this case. Erica fought very hard in this case she put her best foot forward and the outcome was Grand! Fast forward a little I reach out to her again and also hired her for a new case in 2016 for an adoption. She has handled 3 cases for my family. Mrs. Slater is extremely passionate about her clients and the services that she provides. She has always displayed that she had my children's best interest at heart. She is extremely organized and confident during trials. Extremely professional and compassionate! If she says is going to do something, she is doing it NOW! Andrea Sugar handled an out of state custody/visitation for us and we were over 700 miles away so if not for google sights such as this one, we would not have found her and went with her on solely the reviews. My experience with Jennifer was wonderful. I was divorced for three years and was no longer receiving adequate support for my child. Child support was not an issue at the time of my divorce and a few years after. However, things changed and I needed support for my child. I was extremely afraid and sad that I needed to embark on legal proceedings to garner support. I didn’t receive any recommendations and was cold calling family law attorneys that I found on the web. Jennifer was one of the lawyers I found during my search. I was initially impressed with her credentials and her level of experience. Jennifer returned my call the same day I left her a message inquiring about her services. During that initial phone call she pulled up my case information from my divorce while I was on the phone with her. She reviewed my file and gave me great advice during our first conversation. I knew from the first phone call that she would be amazing.
I met with Jennifer a few days later, with fears and tears. During that meeting she let me know that I had a great case, along with what to expect, how long the process would take, and what I may have to endure. I was extremely unsure of my rights, but Jennifer provided excellent legal counsel. Jennifer provided me with a sense of ease that I desperately needed.
My case lasted almost a year, during that time Jennifer was always available, always provided everything I needed to know and what I needed to do along the way.
Jennifer is excellent, she’s tough, but also diplomatic. Not only did Jennifer get the support that I was so unsure about, she shored up my custody agreement. I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for an understanding, supportive, knowledgeable, lawyer that will fight for you.

I was driving with no insurance, than I hit someone. I had some jail time charges. I missed my court date. Mr. Scott handle everything. He got the jail time charges remove. None of this is on my driving record. All I had to pay to the District Court was $275. Mr. Scott is great!!!! If you need a lawyer please use Mr. Richard Scott, he will give you a GREAT outcome.

Prior to my case Mr. Berg managed to arrange the change of custody from a mother to a father of two daughters. In my case the custody of a son was changed from a mother to a father. In order to accomplish this Mr. Berg needed to have an understanding of every nuance of custody law and the ability to present a case in the same way that a salesman sells a product. Mr. Berg is a consummate player at both levels. At my request my former wife was not to be trashed in front of our son; we made the concession that she was an adequate and competent parent but that circumstances dictated that a change of custody would be in the best interest of the child. The circumstances that we argued against included that the mother was intending to leave the country permanently, that the living circumstances in her new home would provide no male authority figures, that the school calender would provide only about three weeks per year that the child could visit with his father, and that the mother would begin the move being unemployed. The alternative that was argued for was a father that had remarried and a family that the child already spent nearly half his time with each week and a step mother who was a clear asset to a good and secure home, with an American school calender which would provide about 11 weeks of visitation each year.

My attorney, Debra Cruz, saved me & my son's emotional and physical well being- literally. My life was completely torn apart at the beginning of my separation. There was absolutely no light at the end of my tunnel. Debra's education, expertise, & emotional support saved me from losing my son. She walked my family and I through each & every step- always guiding and supporting me. She never failed me- not even once. The court proceedings got extremely confusing & technical for me to handle. A lot of divorcees choose to attempt to "go at it" alone- under no circumstance do I recommend that.
Words could never begin the gratitude that I have for Ms. Cruz. And although my case has since been closed- Debra still makes her self available to me for questions &/or concerns about the future. I have battled many many issues both personally & with my ex husband & without Debra, I don't necessarily know I could have made it through.
I still have to go back to court at some point late next year- and I can only pray that she and her team are 100% behind my son and I again!

When I left my husband and made it clear I didn't feel safe around him anymore, he left work early and showed up at my daughter's house before I got there. She let me know and I was able to wait until he got tired and left peacefully before going there, but it was terrifying. My daughter convinced me to file for a protective order after hours that night (Monday), but I was so flustered I know I didn't do a good job of filling out the paperwork. I went to the first hearing (wednesday) by myself, and the judge sounded like I didn't have cause to be granted the permanent decree, he said I would get one for a week and would have the final hearing next week where my husband could be there.
I had Mary recommended to me, and even though I hadn't decided if I needed a divorce or if we could still save the marriage, I reached out for help with the protective order. Mary was SO helpful! She explained the process to me, helped me figure out what parts of our relationship would be useful to mention for the protective order, talked me through what my options were for planning a divorce, and was just really responsive. It took several weeks for my husband to be served by the police, and she was able to get me a waiver of appearance so I didn't have to appear every week. Mary talked to my daughter and prepared her to give testimony of how my husband was when he showed up unexpectedly in case he decided to contest the order. When he was finally served a few weeks later, it was on Tuesday afternoon that we found out that we would need to be there Wednesday morning. Mary even wrote an email to my daughter's supervisor at work explaining the situation and offering to get a subpoena if necessary for her not to get in trouble for taking time off to go with me! She was at the courthouse before us, talking to my husband, and told us to go ahead into the courtroom so we wouldn't have to interact with him. He was agitated, so much so that after the judge ruled he called her up to see what was going on, but she still managed to get him to agree to everything, I got to keep using my car, kept my dog, and he wasn't allowed to bother me for a year, which will give me the time to establish separation for the divorce. I highly recommend talking to Mary, especially if you need help with separation and haven't decided if you need to move forward with a divorce or want to try counseling. I was worried that a divorce attorney would be expecting me to move forward with a divorce and be pushing me to do so, but Mary was perfect, she listened to all of my concerns and even made sure while she was talking to him to check if my husband would consider getting therapy to work on our relationship, but he shut that down as always. Mary even took time out of her day to sit with me to make sure I was safe and my husband left after the hearing, because I was waiting on my ride home. I can't recommend her enough!

I can tell you I was extremely worried about my case, but knowing that I had Craig Ward for a lawyer truly made a huge difference. He developed a plan for me to follow, called me to keep me informed about what he thought and I fully trusted him and listened to everything he instructed me to do. I can't even tell you how great of an outcome I had in court today, I received something even better than what I thought was the best possible scenario. I noticed other lawyers sitting around and waiting their turn to be heard in front of the judge, but my lawyer was constantly talking to the states attorney throughout the entire period I was in the courtroom. Mr. Boozer has represented me on two different instances,divorce and drug charge,I feel he achieved the best results that I wanted.
