I interviewed several attorneys to represent me in my divorce. When I met Troy D. Lowe in 2017, I knew my search was over. He was able to articulate why he would be the best option to secure the outcome that I desired and he did not fail me. My divorce took over two years to resolve and I NEVER felt like an invoice. Mr. Lowe understood that I was a single mom with two young children trying to make sense of a life that was suddenly turned upside down. I somehow wish that I could give Attorney Langford more than 5 stars. When I tell you that he saved my family the heartbreak of having our namesake incarcerated for a petty crime in less than 24 hours notice! In addition, Mr. Langford took it upon himself to impart wisdom to my son AND completed expungement paperwork, even though this is something that is well beneath his pay grade. The care and compassion and excellence that he showed me and my family will never be forgotten. These are just the attributes of his character, but his skill as an attorney is even that much more outstanding. I am very thankful that I hired Attorney O’Connor. I was devastated about getting a false Protective Order charge against me and I thought for sure that because I was a male, I would not get treated fairly in court. I was represented great and the Protective Order was denied.

I hired Ed O'conner for 2 different protection order cases (at $1500 a pop). The first one was dismissed by the judge as it was clearly ridiculous and the judge had some common sense. The second one, however, became one of the worst things that happened to me party due to the incompetence of this lawyer.
Less than 3 weeks after the first, the second was filed for unrelated accusations. CPS unsubstantiated the claim. In our discussions leading up to court it was very clear that we would take it to trial. I provided Mr. O'conner with any information he requested. At the hearing, he decided that we needed to make a 'deal' and not go to trial. I argued with him and he shamed me, saying I was a pain to deal with. How could I be confident to go to trial with a lawyer that clearly did not want to? I was between a rock and a hard place. I ended up with supervised visitation of my child, when before I had half custody. I was defeated by my own lawyer.
Later, when problems arose due to the agreement not being written specific enough, he argued that I was wrong about what the deal was. I asked if he checked his notes and he answered 'no'. I reminded him that last time I spoke to him he didn't even remember who I was so how can he be so sure of his memory of such a specific detail? He responded that I wasn't making any friends like this. I told him how unprofessional and unreliable that I felt he was and am now conveying this information to save anyone else from this type of situation. Luckily, I later found a great lawyer who was able to undo all of the foolishness of this situation and restore half custody and my relationship with my child. My current lawyer and the judge both stated how it was a terrible decision to make that deal when CPS unsubstantiated the charges and I was given bad legal advice.

Upon initial work with Amanda she seems very friendly, but as time progresses, you will find out that it is all about the money and your case has not progressed as it should. She flat out lied about my case and now I have to have documents recreated by another attorney that she overcharged for in the first place. Terrible service! This law firm, Hearns Law Group, was referred to me by a friend who had just begun using her and my friend is not impressed either as her case is not moving as well as it should.

Ms. Odorimah was one half of a team that represented me in my nasty divorce against a malignant ex-spouse and his equally unethical legal team.
She is very knowledgeable, calm, unflappable and diplomatic especially when placed in situations that require an attorney to interact with unethical (that word again) opposing counsel while advocating vociferously for one’s own client.
I have no doubt I walked away with my dignity and assets intact from my nightmare of a marriage because of her written communication with opposing counsel.
She and Mr. Hearns are an incredible team and will make sure they walk the extra mile for their clients.
I have since referred my friends to her (and Mr. Hearns) and secretly know they will triumph based on my experience with both of them.

While the overall rating I gave may have seemed to contradict the other ratings. Here's the explanation: he is a competent lawyer, who can be insulting, and a know-it-all whom doesn't listen. This lead to a constant tug and pull on my part to ensure he has the facts of the case. Plus, anytime a lawyer flat out says to his client, "you do as I say or you fire me". Well.... that was the last straw.
But if you can deal with these concerns, you won't have much problems with him because he is competent. I just couldn't any longer.

This lawyer is supposed to be representing me ..hes been on my case for 2 years and has literally filed nothing on my behalf ..in 2 years ..not one filing ..I did not request a lawyer ..i wanted to proceed Pro Se.in the first convo ..he was told to turn over all my filings i was not giving him any authorization to view them or do anything else .which he did . then..he forced himself on my case against my will despite having zero info on the case because they had been turned over . Mr Bookhard still went to court and stood in like he was my lawyer ..against my will ... As a result i have lost all rights to my daughter whom ive never met along with other things . ..ive asked him to resign several times ...he has refused ..and continue to obstruct justice . he lied last week told me he filed things and did not . i have the emails to prove it . .. DO NOT HIRE THIS CROOK he has the govt kidnap children to help his lawyer friends ... Report this man immediately he needs to be disbarred.

I totally agree with the other review. This guy was appointed as public defender in my case. Nothing he said as to the outcome or my sentence was the ending result. In fact, the ending result was NOWHERE in the ballpark of what Bookhard had been saying. I could have received a much harsher sentence but I actually think that the judge and the Prosecutor felt sorry for me because he was totally inept. Even stumbled over his words in court. I would NEVER recommend this lawyer for any legal matter.

I hire attorney Mr. Irwin Goldberg because I had a court order that was granted to me for my ex husband retirement plan I paid Mr. Goldberg in cash for his help in my 2 court order over 2 years ago every time I called his office I left several voicemail messages for him to give me and updates on my case he never return any of my phone calls and I had already paid him for his services. Please if you hire a attorney please do not let it be Mr. Irwin Goldberg to do a service for you, you would be wasting your money and your time. I was heart broken over the way he treated me after I already paid him for my services and he did not help me.
