If you get this lawyer I feel sorry for you . Idk if it’s because we got him court appointed and he just thinks low of us but from the lady that answered the phone to anything about him they are very rude and care NOTHING ABOUT YOU ! Maybe if you pay him outta pocket things may be different but I’d definitely ask for another lawyer. Unless you enjoy extra charges , more time and being put places away from your family .

Theresa Rhinehart took my hard earned money and my Mother's, for TWO YEARS,during my awful divorce, she THEN, QUIT, in the courtroom the DAY I FINALLY WENT TO COURT!!!!! BECAUSE she was "intimidated" by my ex-husbands attorney!!!!! The judge went along with this Ludacris action by my attorney!!! Something needs to be done!!! So, I would give this "person" NEGATIVE 5000 on her reviews!!!! But then there is, KARMA....

Alex was the attorney of the American Polis after he loses the case in the court room I was advised by his client to contact him regarding the case we did Call him several times I also emailed him few times he didn’t respond he’s an young an unexperienced new attorney he thinks he knows all the answers and acting like James Bond. anyway he also lied to my attorney before the court date he was told by his client to offer us $7500 but he told to my attorney $5000 only just to stretch the case so he can make some money on the side if I had the option I would give him zero has poor communication skills he just have a long way to hopefully he will serve his client better in future if he he ever gets one .

Could have done better in my custody case. She does not come prepared for meetings or court. Do not return client calls and will charge you for things and then not follow through with them. If she know the other side attorney she will switch sides on you and not very effective in communicating, and make promises that she will get you what you want but in the middle of going to trial she will switch up. Never used any evidence to win the case , she do what is the easiest and best for her and not her client.

I hired Mrs. Delcamp to handle my separation. She made the process smooth and easy, which was important to me during this difficult time. I’ve engaged Ms. Delcamp’s services several times over the past years and found her to be a straight shooter, who knew how to get the job done. Regarding Mr. Phillips and his Assistant.
The lady and the lawyer are unprofessional. The woman was very rude and falsified information regarding my phone number. I expressed my concerns in a civil manner and she became very defensive and hung up on me. She then admitted another number was on file but tried to claim she never said there was never an additional number. I would not recommend this place and the lawyer never took the time to see they changed my phone number and never returned my call. He sent a letter telling me to do the case myself and without a lawyer.

A bit lacking on customer service and manners. Every time I call them my "hellos", "good mornings" and "have a nice day" are greeted with silence, a hang up click or some snarky response.
Do they know they're talking to paying customers? I wonder....
Call me old fashion, but I do appreciate a respectful exchange and greeting. Especially if I am paying top dollar for boilerplate templates I could potentially fill out myself.

Bottom Line - Colleen Haddow is the BEST attorney I could have ever wished for --my only regret is that I didn't start with her from the beginning.
Ms. Colleen Haddow came as a recommendation from my previous law firm following failed mediation in a highly complex, contentious, and financially draining divorce and custody case. The opposing counsel - whose professional reputation precedes her as a person devoid of ethics and civility, made finding a willing, capable, and affordable replacement daunting. Colleen personally and immediately took my call for an intake interview. When I opened by informing her of who opposing counsel was, she simply laughed with complete confidence, accepted my case, and immediately got my case moving on the right track.
Unlike opposing counsel in this case, Colleen is a legal professional with impeccable integrity and ethics; but not to be confused with someone who submits to bully tactics or shies away from confrontation in or out of the courtroom. In contrast, Ms. Haddow is emotionally intelligent and well versed in the rules of the court to effectively persuade and, if need be, compel cooperation from even the most difficult of personalities. Got me convicted of a crime I did not commit. * To be clear, I understand that it was the system much more than it was my representation and I was foolish to think I'd beat a charge in family courts just because I was innocent of the charges laid against me. That said, I wish I would had been encouraged to swallow my pride and accept the plea bargain offered me instead of brazenly heading into court only to be convicted to the fullest extent without an iota of evidence to support the plaintiffs case. Further, if I thought I was reviewing the prosecutors who fought and succeeded in getting me convicted of a charge I didn't commit I suppose I could give her no less than 4 stars, and if I could rate the judge, I'd give him 0 if it were possible. Utterly devastating to experience such a travesty of justice. *

I was a father who had originally agreed to share custody with my ex. The arrangement was in place, but I had not signed. My ex had moved, had the kids in new schools, but was making decisions that I believed were not in the kids' best interests. I had retained one attorney at the cost of several thousand dollars but was dissatisfied with the progress. I met with Mrs. VanZile, and within minutes she had an understanding of my situation and the type of person (my ex) I was dealing with. I always felt like I had someone fighting in my corner. At trial, she was able to expose my ex's motives and ultimately I was awarded a change of custody. My coworkers, who came to the hearing for support, witnessed Mrs. VanZile's performance and a couple have reached out to me in the years that followed for her name and contact info. I gladly share. I hired Ms. Maiden because she promised me that she did more "hand-holding" through a contentious divorce than the typical lawyer. The exact opposite was true. She ignored my case to the extent she even failed to present an offer that was made by the opposing party; when I finally had to hire another lawyer, I was too burned out to file a bar complaint for what is very much a breach of duties. In short, she was non-responsive, allowed my case to drag out, caused me unbelievable stress and ultimately cost me thousands of dollars when she abdicated my bargaining power by pissing off and ignoring my ex-spouse and his attorney as well. If I could give her a negative rating, I would as she had a complete negative impact on me, my family and my case.

Mrs. Miller's litigation services were nothing short of exceptional. I was falsely accused of abduction, assault, unlawful use of a firearm, and hit and run. Due to the lack of evidence defense presented by Mrs. Miller the prosecutor moved to nolle prosequi the case (meaning that they decline to prosecute) and the judge granted the prosecutor's motion and my case was dismissed. Mrs. Miller also advised me on how to proceed on an additional emergency risk order case that I chose to represent myself on. Based on Mrs. Miller guidance with that case, it was also dismissed without prejudice.
Mrs. Miller was easily and readily available / reachable throughout the duration of this ordeal which lasted approximately 4 months. I would certainly recommend Mrs. Miller to anyone needing legal representation.

The 1st family lawyer I got was horrible and cost me about $10k. I hired Mehagen back in 2013 and she was empathetic, honest and great in the courtroom when fighting for you and your case. I had two consultations with Ms. Ehlenberger and both opportunities were bad experiences. As other reviews mentioned, Ms. Ehlenberger was more interested in having a friendly relationship with opposing counsel than in protecting my best interests. She also didn’t have the answer to many of my questions and was not pleasant at all. I had a consultation with another attorney and realized immediately the huge difference in knowledge and treatment.

This lawyer put me in a worst situation than I was at first. He made me loose all the help I had, became friend with opposite counsel, never answered the calls and did everything he could to make what was supposed to be an unconstested divorce a contested complicated divorce. He allowed discovery for my documents and never provided those of opposite side. And above all, he was trying to sabotage the whole situation and looking for things against my daughters and my own interests!
Worst lawyer ever. Please moms and dads don’t waste your time, this guy is just looking for commissions from other parties and will dig a deeper pit if you’re dealing with a narcissist.

I retained this lawyer to represent me in a custody trial (which he claimed he specialized in) but I dont think he was very knowledgeable with family law, as he only got me in a worst position there where I started alone. What was supposed to be a quick temporary custody case is still unresolved and going on 2 years I have not seen my children. He refused to subpoena any witnesses, no prep was done, he screamed at me in his office at the top of his lungs, and told me to "shut up" in front of the GAL on my case. The man would not return phone calls or emails, I would have to call multiple times to try to get him on the phone or a call back and it would be over a week or 2 for a response! I asked his to have CASA appointed, he refused, when it is needed and pretty standard in my situation. Every time it was time for my trial, he would find a way to have it continued. I did not see any fight from him for me, basically it was pointless and a huge waste of time and money.
Maybe he is a good lawyer in other areas but I would NEVER recommend him for any type of family law case!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Brown is horrible lawyer. She is all about money and not listening to her clients. Every other month they’re a new person working on my case. She does not work well with her clients. Three years of shelling out money every month with not one things accomplished on my case. I’m in the same situation as when I started. Still not divorced. Mr. Connors is affable and quite knowledgeable about the law. His firm is small. Which turned out to be a deficit in my case as he was easily overwhelmed by the “big boys” of opposing counsel’s firm. Mr. Conners was professional, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and highly ethical during my complicated divorce/child support proceedings. I was grateful to get a consult that seemed cheap for 30 mins. My consult was 20 mins. Virginia didn't really care to listen but instead injected what really is happening and citing the law. I felt as if she made fun of my words in a round about way. She also didn't care to look at my settle offer from my husbands attorney. She said it was useless and would rather hear my side.Then asked for close to 5,000 for retainer fee. I didn't think my time spent with her helped or made me feel at ease. I wish I had known better. She wouldn't have fought for me. And I decided to walk away after the consult.

Worst lawyer ever! To start, he never provides a direct phone number to reach him. He then charges for what his emails say should be "free" consultations. When I questioned why he is charging me for a consultation that his office states was free, he quit on me with out issuing me a refund. He never provided any services and "claims" he did work. Timothy is an example of how lawyers should be in a perfect world. I'm not saying that he knows everything off the top of his head or that he can't be wrong but Mr. King has made me feel like the money is not the most important thing to him. Meaning that he did not always go with the option that drags things out. Instead for me, he aimed at a optimal resolution to genuinely improve the lives of my kid and the opposing party. To help improve our lives and move them forward in a meaningful way. Not only did he give legal advice and help, He really helped me discover what I know/feel is best. Through adversity of his own life, I felt his advice came from a place of real understanding. I needed a pit bull in the courtroom and that was Ms. Krueger. Court can be a scary place, but she took control and I was confident she would make sure the truth came out.
