This is the most unprofessional “lawyer “ I have ever encountered. She is a swindler. My brother hired her after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she knew this, he was not in the right frame of mind, and she pounced on that. My mom is currently in one of the worst nursing homes I’ve ever seen, and this woman wants our family to drain any savings that my single mom raising 2 children has managed to save and pay this place. The day after my brother died, she called my sister in law screaming at her that they want their money 💰. She charged 12,900 for God knows what, as a matter of fact I would like a detailed list of every phone call, email, anything that she has done because so far all she has done is cause our family grief and pain. I wish it all back on her, everything our family has been through I wish on her tenfold. She takes advantage of families in crisis, and I don’t know how she sleeps at night. Take my advice, find a REAL attorney, she is a scam artist.

Reached out 2 times, once in 2016 and again in 2023. Both for different cases. Both times I spoke to Mr. Kane over the phone and both times I had to follow up multiple times via email and phone calls. He never ended up calling back or following up for either case. Apparently my cases were not high priority enough or within his area of expertise. I will never know because he never followed up either time.

Bill is an outstanding attorney. There seriously is not a more hardworking and knowledgeable attorney in Chester County. He accommodated my schedule and even met with me on evenings and weekends. He promptly took every single one of my phone calls. He helped during a difficult process for me and made me feel comforted and secure.
I honestly don't believe the review that said he made promises he couldn't keep. He was very open about giving me ranges of possibilities, never promising or guaranteeing anything, which would be impossible to do. What he said was ultimately what the divorce master recommended.
I hope no one else has to deal with the type of situation I did. But if you find yourself needing a divorce attorney, Bill is the one to choose.

Had an unfortunate experience working with this firm to appeal property taxes. I reached out to them after receiving a mailer regarding property tax reduction. After signing up, they asked for $50 to submit an appeal. A few months later they asked for an additional $250 for an appraisal which I sent with no hesitation. Some weeks after the appeal date I called to get an update and was informed that it was "canceled" by the appraiser. I probably should have asked more questions like, why was it canceled? or why didn't anyone perform an appraisal on my home? Overall it was a disappointing experience. Fortunately, I was able to complete the process on my own.

She was responsible for assisting us with closing the estate of my late Father. Communication was inconsistent. Her explanations seemed to always go in circles and were difficult to understand. The whole process took much longer than expected for what we thought was a fairly simple estate.

I engaged Ms. Agnew to draft a pre-nuptial agreement for me, which she did. While we were waiting for the other attorney to review, she charged me 49 cents for postage each month for multiple months to send me a bill stating that she did NO work on the agreement. Fairly excessive, considering I engaged her with a large retainer fee up front, and in good faith.
Once the other party's attorney reviewed the agreement, it was determined (by that attorney, as well as another who was engaged as a third set of eyes) that the agreement as written by Ms. Agnew was unusable, and not enforceable in the state of PA the way that she had written it. In short, it needed to be completely re-written. Ms. Agnew refused to do that without charging against my retainer. (Despite the fact that the errors were in the document she created, and no fault of mine.)
At that time, I sent an email requesting that Ms. Agnew stop work on the document (as I realized that she was grossly overcharging me, and I still did not have the enforceable legal document that I had paid her to draft). She then charged me $25 to read my one line email, and leave me a 15 second voicemail. I did not respond, knowing that she would again charge me excessively.
In short, due to Ms. Agnew's negligence and incompetence, I had to engage another lawyer to draft an accurate pre-nuptial agreement. Ms. Agnew's egregious overbilling added insult to injury, as I have nothing to show for the large retainer I paid. Unfortunately, in this instance, I engaged an attorney who clearly is more concerned about lining her pockets than the best interests of her clients. I don't want that to happen to anyone else.
