Wonderful Professional man. Joel was there for me after my car accident. He was 100% responsive to all of my communications, easy to talk to and walked me through exactly what to do right after I was hit...knew I was taken care of and didn't have to worry. Very honest and very knowledgeable. I knew he was not afraid to try my case if it came down to it (which it almost did)...which was incredibly relieving to me after a super stressful accident. Making a decision to file bankruptcy is nerve wrecking, a different kind of stress. Mr. Stephen is knowledge coupled with immeasurable customer service that helped to ease the stress. He is very thorough in explaining the options. He is not forceful. He wants to make sure your are comfortable with the decision that will best fit your financial situation. I hired Megan Harris for my divorce and custody case. Megan helped me obtain custody of my 3 young children. I think that's a huge feat for a dad in the first place. Issues arose post divorce and re-hired megan and she was there for me every step of the way. She is always available, she even was available for me on weekends. She will fight for you, communication is immediate, she will help you see the reality of the situation, and help facilitate agreements so not to drag things out of no reason. There ishould truly nobody I would hire other than Megan. She was a friend throughout this tough emotional process. Me and my family owe her so many thank you's.

Thank you doesn’t seem enough for all that Bill Stogsdill and Brett Williamson have done not only for me, but my children as well. When I first met both of these gentlemen, each presented themselves with such self confidence I instantly knew these were the attorneys to represent both my children’s and my interests. Their knowledge of the law, the court system and taking the time to understand my situation and what was most important to me was outstanding.
Although my case was not a million dollar case, both Bill and Brett treated it as if it were. I was continuously encouraged to be apart of my case, not just a “victim” of circumstance. They allowed me to help them help me. Documents created by me at their request helped my case.
Bill was a Bulldog during trial. Bill did not only have superior knowledge of the law, but the knowledge of every detail of my case was impressive. It was abundantly clear, Bill was prepared for trial.
Organized and detailed are just a couple of words I would use to describe Brett. He not only showed this before trial, but during trial. Before Bill could ask for a specific exhibit, Brett was already handing it to him!
From the most mundane tasks to the most important, I was continuously informed about my case. The approach taken by both of these attorneys, was to be proactive and reactive. Both Bill and Brett took the time to explain my options, what is my children’s best interest and mine, and more importantly, understood some of the tough choices I had to make. Although we may have had our disagreements at times, we always talked through the decisions that needed to be made. More importantly, we were always a united front. I trusted my attorneys implicitly and in the end, I’m so glad I did!
The Assistants in the office were always so helpful, friendly, outgoing and completely understanding regarding the roller coasters of emotions I felt during this process. I truly appreciate their kindness and respect for the sensitivity of the process.
I hired Bill on paper, but in reality the entire law firm was essential to my case. On the one occasion when Bill could not appear at a court hearing, Bob Boyd appeared. I was nervous not to have Bill at court, but Bob quickly laid my fears to rest.
This has been the toughest time in my life. But I am thankful everyday Bill was on the same side of the table as I was and not sitting a cross from me. During the course of this divorce, it was comforting to know that both Bill and Brett were protecting, defending and fighting for what was best for my children and me.
I will forever be grateful to them! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to my case. Thank you for having the same passion as I did. Thank you for being the shield in front of both me and my children. Simply put, thank you!

Brett was everything one wants in a divorce lawyer: attentive, responsive, knowledgeable on current laws, professional, courteous and a stellar advocate for me. I made a huge mistake in switching to a much less (in every category) lawyer to "save money", all to my severe detriment. I ended up paying so much more money in legal fees AND in the end, to my ex. If you want to get your divorce DONE and done properly, expeditiously and with a lawyer who has brains and class, hire Brett. Don't make the mistakes I did--stay with the best and most qualified.

I can honestly say that Tony Sammarco saved lives. He was there with me in a system that does not normally help or care when a dad has to protect his son against an abusive mother, but he succeeded in securing for us the family home and defeating a dangerously unethical opposing counsel who was producing an endless amount of real harm targeting childrens’ pain to extort money. I am a single parent who hired Ms. Peck after having already been through the ringer with the wrong attorney and had pretty much given up hope in the legal system and TOO MUCH money towards the fight for common sense (let kids have both parents and stop fighting just for the fight,which will only cause us both to be broke). My X didn't care about our dwindling 401k and our son crying to talk to his dad nightly. Everything was a volleyball game to her, money and our kids. Her attorney played the game too, which showed he had no agenda other than to make money. Peck was so decent I was worried, could a "decent" attorney help me win in this disaster? The end result was that Peck stopped the games and knew exactly what steps to take so the legal system did actually work! The games were no longer played and the best possible outcome was reached, in believe it or not, a fairly quickly manner based on the circumstances. I learned that big firms are just that, big. I learned that "popular" names don't make the attorney great. Peck is the best! I am forever grateful to her.

At the time I filed for divorce, I thought that I had a good lawyer to represent me. I soon learned that my counsel directed me to settle and lose custody of my son without a legal challenge. A friend encouraged me to find different counsel to reach my goal. I contacted Stogsdill Law Firm and met with Bill Stogsdill, Jr. Bill explained that he and his team of lawyers would represent me at all times. Should my primary lawyer be indisposed, another competent member of the firm would be in the courtroom to help me. The firm has a proficient staff and processes all the legal documents in a timely manner. Initially, I met with Bill Stogsdill Jr. and reviewed my case. I supplied a detailed history in an outline format. Bill was able to accurately access my chances to obtain sole custody of my son. He warned that the cost to win the case was high. I did not expect the cost to be twice as much to win. Bill assigned my case to Bryan Estes. My initial impression of Bryan was good. Neither Bryan nor Bill have lost a worthy custody battle. Over a three year period, Bryan provided sound and strong and sound counsel. The legal battle included seven court motions, six depositions, seven days of court time, two parental psychologist reviews, formal request to the judge to amend his decisions. Also, there was an appeal process in the appellate court. Bill Stogsdill Jr. was never far away form the legal proceedings and intervened when needed. I completed every homework assignment that Bryan submitted. For example, I had to provide ten years of financial records. We had a strong working relationship and improved my chance to obtain sole custody. The Stogsdill Law Firm and I were able to obtain sole custody of my son. I am fortunate for the outcome and I am to be a father to my son. Secondly, my ex-spouse was awarded limited portion of the marital estate. Bryan Estes is more than an excellent lawyer; I consider Bryan to be a friend who stood next to me during the toughest times of the divorce.

Gregory, showed compassion, interest and concern for the outcome of my requests as a victim of the broken legal system. I believe everyday he had my back professionally. I hired Greg while releasing my former attorney after a year of no progress and extreme unprofessionalism, who was also highly rated on attorney websites. After hiring Greg, my case started moving towards completion of my divorce and I had my decree in a few months. My ex-wife file for divorce and once I got David involved, the opposing attorney and ex's demeanor drastically changed. After David gained insight on my situation, how I earn income (I'm self-employed) and what my ex was asking me for, David was my voice and advocate to make sure I was not taken advantage of. My ex's requests (demands) were based on emotion and she wasn't budging until David came along. David worked through the legal system and made sure the settlement was based on facts and not emotion. When I wanted to give in, he asked me "for what? There is no legal basis for what they're asking for (paraphrased)". There's an awful lot of waiting as the due process takes place but it's for a reason. This gave my legal team some time to formulate a plan, and used time to our advantage. David and his paralegal Joni are top notch, very knowledgeable about the law and how to apply it to get my case settled. There were many phone calls and emails to me from their office outside of normal business hours, which I appreciated, so their dedication to their clients were beyond evident. David worked hard on my case and I can finally move forward in my new chapter of life. If you're interviewing attorneys deciding who to select, have at least a conversation with David, and you will immediately know that he absolutely has your best interest in mind. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for what he and his team have done for me, my future and for my dependent son. Thank you David! I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

Divorce is such a painful process on multiple levels. I wanted my divorce over as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there are levels of attorneys and 5 star reviews don't always correlate with competence. I chose one based on 5 star AVO reviews and was severely disappointed. My divorce dragged on years exacerbated by Covid.
I was at my wits end when I was thankfully referred by word of mouth to David. After a 20 min ph call with David, I fired my last attorney and hired David. He is very intelligent, professional and straight to the point. David has a network and rapport with the "system" that can only exist because of a long and successful career. This network also greatly benefitted my case both financially and psychologically.
My experience with divorce was ugly. It was not only a battle with my ex, it was a made worse because of her team of lawyers. Petty arguments and tactics designed to drain the estate of finances and wear you down emotionally.
In such a situation, you want a shark on your side to cut through the opposition with efficiency. David was just that both strategically and in front of the judge. If only I had hired him first. I would have saved myself a lot of mental and financial energy. Do yourself a favor and call David. Trust me.
