My very close friend made the mistake of a third DWI. He faced felony charges and deportation back to his birth country (he was born in Vietnam, but raised here since he was a toddler). Due to the immense stress of this pending trial, he even suffered physically/medically.
Jack was very compassionate and even took the time to meet my friend/client, his brother, and even me in his office.
He answered all of my texts and calls very quickly throughout the entire process. He even answered a frantic weekend call from me (when he was probably with his family).

I needed a criminal attorney badly. I spoke with Luka Garica about my case. He agreed to take the case and quoted 50K up to trial. I made an appointment, and paid the down payment, and Luka returned the money within 10-minutes and made an excuse that they had other projects. I am filing a complaint with the bar, and I will also sue for violating a verbal agreement. I cannot tell anyone not to use this law firm. But I will never trust them again. It appears that the law firm wanted to leave me without representation to assist the prosecutors. If I could I would give this law firm a zero. I do not trust them and will protest in front of their building when I get time. Horrible! Unethical and untrustworthy.

I was falsely accused of egregious professional misconduct under the Army’s SHARP program. Due to the notoriety of SHARP in the current command climate of the Armed Forces, that false allegation resulted in me facing not only an other-than-honorable involuntary termination of my military service but also irreparable and irrevocable harm to my professional career. The opprobrium of being labeled a “predator” presumed guilty of false sexual misconduct and the subsequent isolation stemming from the Army’s stance of ‘guilt by accusation’ in matters pertaining to SHARP showed my family and me a new level of hellish fear as we felt the weight of the Department of Defense smothering our integrity, honor, and livelihood. I was referred to Colby Vokey by a trusted friend, and that referral changed our lives. Mr. Vokey told my story; the truthful story. He provided encouragement and support and continuously stoked the will to fight back against the injustice of a system designed to protect victims but that was being weaponized against me. Russ, Michelle and their office staff assisted me in resolving a complicated felony DWI case. Let me just say, this was the most stressful time of my entire life; when you have a pending legal charge, you spend every day in limbo- feeling scared and uneasy about what the future may or may not hold. I am unsure if I could have made it through those months without the help of their office. As a local business owner and single parent, my life was completely chaotic, even before this added stressor. Russ and Michelle were incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, reassuring and FAST; if I had any question, I could always just shoot over an email and expect a response within hours, sometimes minutes. What I liked most about having Mr. Elliston as my attorney was how I didn't have to be my own lawyer - on the job training, at fighting my own case, not good. I never left his office confused nor feeling like I’m stupid or as if he didn't really listen or hear me, but more importantly - he proved over and over again to be a staunch defender and supporter of my innocence and as my lawyer, he didn’t let anyone else forget it - not even me, in other words - he’s not going to allow you to hold your head down, he makes you feel like now that he’s onboard, your chances just increased 100% so hold your head up high! It’s little things like that that meant the world to me.
I liked that Mr. Elliston was also patient with me, once a very nervous and confused client, he was compassionate and understanding, often knowing exactly how I would be feeling throughout this situation and helping me to overcome the doubt.
