Christopher was a great help to me. Russ, Michelle and their office staff assisted me in resolving a complicated felony DWI case. Let me just say, this was the most stressful time of my entire life; when you have a pending legal charge, you spend every day in limbo- feeling scared and uneasy about what the future may or may not hold. I am unsure if I could have made it through those months without the help of their office. As a local business owner and single parent, my life was completely chaotic, even before this added stressor. Russ and Michelle were incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, reassuring and FAST; if I had any question, I could always just shoot over an email and expect a response within hours, sometimes minutes. They kept me informed and were completely honest about exactly what was happening and what I was to expect during the whole ordeal. I was falsely accused of egregious professional misconduct under the Army’s SHARP program. Due to the notoriety of SHARP in the current command climate of the Armed Forces, that false allegation resulted in me facing not only an other-than-honorable involuntary termination of my military service but also irreparable and irrevocable harm to my professional career. The opprobrium of being labeled a “predator” presumed guilty of false sexual misconduct and the subsequent isolation stemming from the Army’s stance of ‘guilt by accusation’ in matters pertaining to SHARP showed my family and me a new level of hellish fear as we felt the weight of the Department of Defense smothering our integrity, honor, and livelihood. Dimitri Dube, the most professional and comforting attorney I have ever worked with. My husband had two cases at the same time. He was out on bail but then was detained by ICE for three months because of an old charge which he satisfied by deferred adjudication but wasn't properly documented. Dimitri checked in frequently to gauge where we were with the case. I had to hire an immigration attorney then a criminal attorney and fortunately God sent us Dimitri through a friend. We were so fearful of everything but Dimitri was calm and collected and said "Celeste, everything will be fine. Don't worry let me do my job. " so I let him do his job. We were in court for almost two years. Dimitri was with us every step of the way fighting with us and for us. We only had one income in our household and Dimitri worked with us to accommodate us financially. Talk about a seasoned Attorney. Brilliant and goes the extra mile to fulfill his duty. What I liked most about having Mr. Elliston as my attorney was how I didn't have to be my own lawyer - on the job training, at fighting my own case, not good. I never left his office confused nor feeling like I’m stupid or as if he didn't really listen or hear me, but more importantly - he proved over and over again to be a staunch defender and supporter of my innocence and as my lawyer, he didn’t let anyone else forget it - not even me, in other words - he’s not going to allow you to hold your head down, he makes you feel like now that he’s onboard, your chances just increased 100% so hold your head up high! It’s little things like that that meant the world to me.
I liked that Mr. Elliston was also patient with me, once a very nervous and confused client, he was compassionate and understanding, often knowing exactly how I would be feeling throughout this situation and helping me to overcome the doubt. He would always remind me that he was on my side and that we are in this together. He just took over! He was good at “exposing the other sides hand & helping me to understand the prosecutor’s/accuser position and what they’re most likely up to in cases like mine and why the system works like this or like that, etc.!” So many reasons I chose to hire him - he told me to go back to work, to take care of my health and to start eating again, to stop worrying and go back to living life and enjoying my family and to now “let him go to work on my case”. He would often get me to relax by saying “you told me the truth, you gave me all that I've asked of you, we fully understand what the plan is and now let me go and show you how we're going to fight this thing”! We’d talk and strategize, then we’d talk more and again find more to be uncovered and analyzed, and then researched, always in constant communication with me - all efforts were always leading towards our strong end game. And throughout this process, not only did I witness how very detailed oriented he is but I soon came to realize what a great a communicator I had in my lawyer. And not to mention how his people skills shined through when we began to build a coalition of friends and advocates/witnesses to help with my case.
He went to work - on my case, never making me feel as if he had “a ton of other things do!” He pushed on, perseverance, creative thinking and just flat out persistence - he didn’t let up and he doesn’t let up until he gets what’s best for his client!
My case was no-billed and I eventually got my record expunged. I can’t thank Mr. Elliston enough - he's my friend. I've made sure that my friends and family have is number on hand.

I don’t normally write reviews. This will be the 2nd review I’ve ever posted in my 46 yrs of life but Mr. Michael Lehmann deserves it. He is sincere, honest, kind, and an amazing advocate for his clients. He is very, very amazing at communicating. The first time I met Mr. Lehmann I was coming off the elevator trying to get to my sons hearing. Mr. Lehmann let me know that the hearing had started early and they had postponed things but as a mom who got their 30 min early and still missed seeing my son I was devastated that I wasn’t there for my son on time not to mention the obvious heartbreak I was dealing with my son being in the circumstance he was in. Mr. Lehman sat with me and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I was crying and had so many things going through my mind but he was so kind and understanding and calm. He never made me feel like I was wasting his time. He fought for my son and got him a very fair sentence. Mr. Lehmann helped put my faith back into the justice system. My family and I feel very blessed to have him on my sons case.

Ever been accused of a crime you were innocent of, signed for probation, and then miraculously find yourself in standing before the judge listening to these beautiful words, "Not Guilty"???? if not its because you have never been represented by this man, Michael A. Lehmann, this was near a decade ago. It really happened, and yes i was charged with DWIWACI... An open and shut; your automatically guilty type situation. I, didnt do it and had just signed 10 years of my life away and been made financially responsible for the near 100,000$ in restitution's.But two days before my time for appeal ran out something happend , new evidence, new facts. Mike was my pda at the time. Meaning PUBLIC DEFENSE ATTORNEY. Meaning the months that would come to pass in motion hearings, time spent with criminal investigators, time spent with toxicologists, literally hundreds of hours. Where absolutely not spent in an hourly+retainer situation. I dunno what pda's typically bring in annually, but to the point, it was never about greed, or lack of shame, or MONEY. It was the fact that Mike new i was innocent! As well as the fact that he believes in JUSTICE! What we have here ladies and gentlemen is not some, attorney at law, or gumshoe pi, or snake in the grass defense lawyer. What we have here, is an Officer of the Court, who believes in justice, and is not afraid to stand strong in the face of overwhelming odds for others, simply because of those last two stated facts. I hired John and his wife Courtney to represent me for my criminal case after interviewing 20 other attorneys. I mainly dealt with Courtney but would also speak with John on occasion. My family member was accused of a crime near Lubbock Tx and incarcerated . He was beaten and sent to the hospital while in police custody. Sometimes it’s not “can you defend someone” but “the strategy” that’s used for the defense. My 19 year old nephew had committed the offence and written & signed a full confession. Mr. Tyson did not argue my nephew’s guilt, but argued/pleaded for how the offense(s) were going to be structured. My nephew received a fine, probation and an “offense coding” that allowed for him to delete his criminal record after finishing probation and waiting his intervening period. This allowed for a kid to realize he had done wrong, while also allowing for justice to be served, without ruining a kid’s entire future.

I hired Tiffany and Kevin to represent me in a sexual assault case accusation in Austin, TX that put my life on hold, with the risk of destroying everything I had worked so hard for. Tiffany was the lead counsel for this case. During the pretrial phase, they kept me informed and worked with me to look at every angle of this case to try to get a positive outcome to my case. They were committed to my case and knew my case better than I would have expect them to. I was surprised during the trial, my lawyers knew the case, facts, inconsistencies, the witnesses better than anyone in that courtroom. One could tell Tiffany and Kevin had been studying this case and were prepared to win. They did not leave anything for chances. Unfortunately, even though as time went by and the DA learned more about the case and it became more clear the accuser was lying, he was not willing to drop the charges.
Kevin and Tiffany did everything they could with multiple trips to Austin, but no offer was acceptable to me. It was the most scary time of my life. I was facing up to 40 years, which meant I could lose everything in my life. I listened to their recommendations and put my life on their hands, taking my case to trial. While I was still in college in 2015, a handful of classmates and I went to a bar, and when the night was over one classmate and I went to my apartment. At the time we were both in other relationships and didn't want anyone to know about the situation. After the affair in my apartment, I took her to her boyfriend's apartment and went on to sleep. Everything seemed normal. A few days later I heard from others that she had been making up stories, but I didn't know exactly what and did not worry much since I had not done anything legally wrong. Fast-forward 2 years and I got arrested over whatever false accusation she had made. Her story had things that did not make sense, but that did not make the investigators stop and question her. Her statement strictly made me face these charges.
If I ever was to be asked about a great lawyer that is going to work hard to win a case and knows the law, I will undoubtedly recommend Tiffany and Kevin. They know what they are doing and I can say that they will work hard to win a case, not leaving room for a surprise. Even my family was amazed at the way they were prepared in the courtroom and how much knowledge they had to defend my case. They really went the extra mile to win and DID.

My experience with Thomson Law Firm has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After being T-boned in a car accident in February, I hired them to handle my case. This was my first car accident and I was very nervous and they did not help at all. Despite starting therapy promptly after them taking long getting things situated, it took them five months to inform us that the other party's insurance denied the claim due to lapsed coverage on the date of the accident. Throughout this process, our paralegal, provided abysmal communication and updates were virtually nonexistent. Her attitude towards us was condescending, treating us as if we were ignorant. I strongly advise against using this firm based on my experience.

My experience with Thomson Law Firm has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. After being T-boned in a car accident in February, I hired them to handle my case. This was my first car accident and I was very nervous and they did not help at all. Despite starting therapy promptly after them taking long getting things situated, it took them five months to inform us that the other party's insurance denied the claim due to lapsed coverage on the date of the accident. Throughout this process, our paralegal, provided abysmal communication and updates were virtually nonexistent. Her attitude towards us was condescending, treating us as if we were ignorant. I strongly advise against using this firm based on my experience.

I interviewed several attorneys prior to hiring Michael Granata. It was an overwhelming process, and navigating a contentious divorce wasn’t something I was ready for at the time.
From the first conversation with Mr. Granata, I could tell that not only did he have a lot of experience in the Dallas County courts, but he knew exactly how to navigate them. He spent a lot of time with me in the consultation, he set great expectations, and he really stopped to just listen to the details of the case.
As things progressed, there were many moments of frustration in the divorce process. Mr. Granata always had the right feedback. He always helped me separate the anger and emotion of the process with the reality of what needed presented to the court.
My situation was complex. It wasn’t a standard case. We had to have a case dismissed in another county and argue that jurisdiction was wrong. We won that. We also had a difficult temp orders hearing, but Mr. Granata eased through it like the seasoned veteran of the courtroom that he is. The judge not only ruled in my favor and gave me sole custody of my daughter, but she shut down all attempts to disparage my character. At the end of my custody hearing, I had custody of my daughter, all decision making power, and I was being paid child support. The outcome could not have been better as a dad.
It put me in a position to go into mediation, and do what was right for my daughter. I agreed to end the child support payment, and 50/50, but still retained the custodial parent title and all of the decision making power that I wanted tied to my daughter’s education, primary home, and medical.
He and I believed that it was important to give mom a chance to step up, and share the parenting role. He recommended a parenting facilitator to help negotiate decisions if we disagree, so that we can grow as co-parents.
There were many times that I thought about just going for a final trial. Even though this would have substantially raised the fees that Mr. Granata would have been able to charge, he helped me stay rationale, and do what was best for my daughter.
We discussed future court appearances, if they were necessary. We wanted a game plan if mom daughter’s mom didn’t step up. He provided post-divorce advice on how to put my life back together.
I’ve hired lawyers in the past for many things. The major difference with Mr. Granata is that I felt that he cared about my outcome. He never let me get caught in the emotion and make irrational decisions. Mr. Granata cared about me. He had experience with the judges and the court system to set proper expectations on what we would see. He gave me the peace of mind needed in the last difficult emotional and financial event of my adult life.
He was everything that I could have asked for in an attorney. Mr. Granata treated me like a friend.
I have no reservations sharing my opinion that Mr. Granata is the best at what he does. He took an event I didn’t know if I would survive, abs basically gave me everything that I could ask the court for.
If you want someone who will listen, really dig into the details of your case, and fight aggressive for you, Michael Granata is the attorney to do so. He is the diamond in the rough of a big list of lawyers who just go through the motions while milking you for fees. He never put me in a single situation where he didn’t explain the costs of going one way or the other. Mr. Granata is a class act, and if you ever find yourself in the situation I was in, he is the best attorney for the job.
