I found Diane Drain just by going through Google and looking for an attorney who can help me understand bankruptcy. She was quick to reply to my questions and clearly explained what will be expected of me. It was a scary thought for me, filing for bankruptcy because I have always believed that I should he responsible for my debts even if they have been putting me in so much stress that my health started to suffer. But Diane showed me that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that I am not alone in my struggle. Diane and her assistant, Jay, helped me without stressing me more. They made the process easy. They made me feel better and made me learn to accept the fact that I cannot help myself get out of my situation alone, that I needed help. Accepting this fact was hard for me as I have always been an independent person but years of desolation, burdened by debts, have made me so depressed and at the end of my wits. I fell behind on my HOA and decided it best to File a chapter 7 BK (Pro Se) in 2018 to prevent the HOA from foreclosing. At that time my equity was well below the then homestead exemption of 150K which made my home exempt. I was discharged in 2018 and thought I was in the clear specifically with my HOA to start paying them at the first of the year which I started immediately. Fast Forward to the pandemic, that is when I was notified by the BK trustee that he indeed grant me a discharge but had not closed my case, and with the equity I had now had in my home he would be listing it for sale. After going through the heartache of opening my home to possible buyers and not knowing where my family would move to for 8 months, my family home did not sell. That is when I contacted BK attorneys to see what I needed to do next because the Trustee was threatening a Sheriff sale. NO OTHER ATTORNEY except Jason Treguboff would even speak to me because my BK had already been filed back in 2018. Jason's first words to me were " I would like to be your last resort in this matter in filing for a chapter 13" Jason is a PURE ANGEL walking this earth ! He took my calls responded promptly my text messages and thoroughly explained to me what I needed to do since this case was filed as a PRO SE. He saw and guided me to the light when I was in pure darkness for 2 years not knowing if I would loose my 1st/forever home. They advertise free consultation with an attorney. I called for one on 3/8 and I was transferred to a gentleman who I was led to believe was an attorney. Went over my needs and decided to hire them. They requested a lot of personal information (as required for my case) and I sent everything over that night. I was assured that my case would be filed that next week. I called the following Thursday because I had not heard from them. I was informed of three things 1. My case was not filed or even looked at yet. 2. The attorney will give me a call by the end of the day that day or tomorrow (3/15 Friday). 3. The person I spoke with for my free consult was NOT even an attorney. I let all that go and waited for the phone call. I am writing this review on 4/1 because I STILL have not heard from anyone! I just fired them and went with someone else. I do not recommend this firm to anyone. They may take payment plans but the cost is that they do not do anything.

First of all, do not tackle filing bankruptcy on your own. It's a very complex process. Hire an attorney. Deciding to file for bankruptcy was initially an emotionally daunting task, but it was the right step in the right direction, and I'm glad we did it with Kathyrn.
We were referred to Kathryn by a good friend who successfully achieved their bankruptcy goals under her services. Kathryn demonstrated empathy and a deep understanding of our situation until we received our Chapter 13 discharge papers at the end of our four-year repayment plan agreement.
She was thorough in her processes and incredibly responsive to our questions and concerns. Even though she was our attorney, she embodied the role of a therapist and helped guide us through those stressful moments. She always brought a lighter perspective to our doubts and continued to clear the path before us— and it was a long four-year stretch.
We understood that completing a Chapter 13 repayment plan didn't have a high success rate, but it made sense for our needs. And ultimately, Kathryn helped us cross the finish line, and we could not have done without her.

Angela definitely lives up to her reputation as a bull dog in the court room!!! In 2018 my husband’s ex-wife came at him, 5 years after his divorce, wanting more money. I did so much research and Angela’s reviews exceeded her. My husband later developed cancer, passed away and I chose to keep Angela in the fight as his ex fought for money from him even after death. We had our trial and as Personal Representative of his estate I stood for him. We won hands down and the ex, 6 years later, got nothing. talked to Jason about a case and paid him for the consultation time and a response for my case. He gave me a flat rate for the case if i were to hire him for the court. Months later, after the court set up a trial date and i had some stuff from the plaintiff mailed to his office, i went back to see him, he question why i had some stuff from the plaintiff mailed to him so i told him i was going to have him represent me, but he just said there was a great chance of winning for my chance and i can handle it by myself. So at that time he had no interest of taking my case after the consultation because he believed I can win. He has really bad workmanship, if you going to give someone a flat rate for the case, you should get it done right from start to finish. And during all the time i tried to call him, either no one answered the phone or you leave a message with the front desk person about the issue, but you never receive a call back within 48 hours, it was more than a week. He finally called back because I had to call the office every day asking for me. Their office is really bad at returning calls. And one more thing, 8 out of 10 times that i called the office, no one picked up the phone and went to voicemail, but when i blocked my number before i called, someone picked it up. So you can figure it out what's going on. definitely don't hire this lawyer if you expect someone to stay on top of your issue and return your call within 24 hours.

I would say that my experience was very good with Wells Law and Realty. Your office was able to change what could have been and likely would have been a highly stressful situation to one where I could push it to the back of my mind having confidence it was being taken care of. I felt like all of the staff were respectful, honest, and diligent. I appreciate being given regular e-mail updates on what was happening with the property. Although there were many setbacks in the sale of my property, I was given honest and timely updates. I hired Mr. Remick to resolve a matter I had been told was a lost cause. He was confident he could get a positive result. He did better than I thought possible and got a settlement issued and many loose ends taken care of. I would still be losing sleep of not for this outstanding attorney. I reached out multiple times and he failed to call me back. Very unprofessional. I have MetLife Legal Plans in which they will pay upon completion, if that was going to be a problem for Andrew, he never indicated that to begin with.

Called and inquired about being able to meet and discuss being a victim of a Ponzi Scheme. Answered questions and provided information over the phone. Was told I would be contacted back in 3 days. A week and a half went by and no call back. Sent an email to get an update, etc. Two weeks later still no response. Definitely not impressed with the level of communication or follow-up.

I paid the fee to talk to a lawyer because I did not know who was keeping me from registering my vehicle. Time was getting close and I was stressed. Mr. Fuerst was worth every penny! Just by asking questions, calming me down, and what it could NOT possibly be I was able to think about it and figure it out. Just a ticket with one payment made late! That late fee was keeping me from being able to register my car. What I thought was going to cost $1000's was a mere $65.00. Thank you Nicholas! Sorry if I was a nut case......

I engaged Mr. Fuerst Oct 2012 for a simple case. He did not complete the filing in spite of being ordered by the judge to do so one year later. He didn't return my calls in spite of commitments to do so by specified dates. He did not file my case correctly yet did not communicate to me if he was not competent with the subject matter of the case if that was the barrier to proper filing. He did not execute on legal filings in a timely fashion and when done did not do so properly as noted above. He provided me with inaccurate information (would commit to completing a filing but did not do so when I called to follow up). I had to discharge him due to utter frustration and exasperation related to his unprofessional conduct. My new lawyer completed the task in 30 days! I recommend avoiding this lawyer if you desire prompt service, professional, trustworthy communication and dependable follow-through. Unfortunately you will not find any of these desirable qualities if you retain this lawyer.

Lisa handled a partnership division of money for me and started out strong and then I was not included in the joint property appraisal that I paid half, to have done.. We were close to a settlement and I had provided a box of documents regarding back taxes paid and my grandfather's inheiritance that was taken and the only response was that I needed a $20,000 forensic accountant. She knew I could not pay for that and it was back and forth for about 3 years. I finally told her to settle this and then she "lost" me as a client for 3 months. I felt like I essentially did the paralegal work and she just bantered back and forth with an attorney that she also had another case with.. Finally ended up settling for under 1/4 of what the original numbers were,

He did a ch 7 gor me a couple of years ago. I needed a copy of my creditors listed in that case. I was told by the court he would have a copy. I knew he wasn't very nice when we filed with him but now think he's a total a-s. He won't even return my calls. Would not ever recommend to anyone wanting a nice, good, reliable attorney.
