Marl Jelsing is a good, young attorney starting out with a great basic foundation. He is in a practice with several other seasoned lawyers that are willing to offer information when Mark needs a little help. Great personality. Would definitely work with him again.

We are so happy to have accidentally discovered Jelsing Tri West & Andruss PLLC in Everett, where Mark Jelsing practices. We couldn't be happier with everyone. We went to the firm for a different matter, but when it came time to work on some estate planning, Mark was the best. As a recent graduate, when he didn't know an answer to something (we had a very complex situation involving multiple entities and states), he was able to get some advice from his dad, who is a founding member of the firm. He also did a brilliant job handling a very special and extremely urgent estate matter that popped up on us unexpectedly. I think Mark and the whole firm are great and we plan to do our "lawyering" there for many, many years to come. I highly recommend Mark, et. al.!

Mark has been involved in this probate/estate case for nearly a year. I think I was one of his first clients. Boy did he get a good case to learn from! I became a widow after only 6 months of marriage and we had not taken care of wills, deeds, insurance, etc. So you can imagine the mess Mark had to try and get to the bottom of. I can say that through his diligence and my determination, I was able to save our home from foreclosure and after a year, was able to purchase our home from the bank. Oh, and by the way, the ex-wifes name was on the bank note, not the deed, but the bank didn't want to talk to me. Let me also include, to make matters worse, that the person named executor to our estate, nearly 12 years ago, was no longer fond of the deceased. It has been an uphill battle that is not finished, but, Mark has carried me with his determination, willingness to find the right path, forging ahead like a bulldog, and continues to move forward. This case is probably one of the most frustrating cases Mark will see in a long time, which could be the reason no other attorney I contacted was willing to take. Although the reason for needing an attorney is sad, Mark has worked hard to see the positive in everything he has done. He listened to my story with empathy and endured the many days of tears. Thank You Mark for your professionalism, empathy hard work and enduring spirit. You are the best!

Gave retainer in March 2017 to have IRS form 843 submitted. I did a follow up with him beginning in June 2017 and after repeated calls and emails I finally got a call in July of 2017. he didn't submit power of attorney form in March but is doing it now (July 2017). in August he made a correction or clarification on the filing of the 2848 form.I attempted several follow up calls and emails from November 2017 through my last on in January 2018. None have been responded too. Finally decided I had no choice but to first dispute my charges with my credit card company so I could get my retainer back, fire Nic, and now get someone else to file the form 843 for me. I'm pretty patient and allowed him ample time to make progress (over 10 months) and in the end, he barely took the time to file form 2848 (power of attorney) with the IRS. Lack of professionalism by not doing the work, not keeping me informed, not returning my calls, and not responding to my emails. I wasn't over the top in my requests....perhaps three messages and two or three follow up emails from August 2017 to January 2018. Now I had to take the time to actually sit here and write this complaint. You now owe me for my time Nic.
