After retiring my finances got out of control and I had to file bankruptcy. This was a scary thing for me to do because I didn't know what to expect. I spent several days calling different

i used merna law for chapter 7, I was very embarrassed and felt like a failure, he explained everything well, and really fought for me. my credit was terrible i could not even get a car loan. he got my case discharged, explained how to build credit. 1 year later for approved for 1.4% car loan for five years. he is laid back, but knows his stuff. sadly i live in north carolina and they made a ruling after my case that we can no longer file in va, otherwise I would use the firm him 4 life

Mrs Gardner took care of our bankruptcy. She was extremely knowledgable in both the chapter 7 and 13 and helped me to figure out which one was the best at helping our family. She was even able to get 2 mortgage liens stripped because my house was no longer worth the amount of the two equity loans. She was wonderful at making us feel comfortable and always quick at replying to our emails or calling us back when we had questions. I stopped in the office to get her help with out an appointment when I was panicked over my husband having his clearance taken because of our financial problems and she brought me right into her office and wrote a letter for us and made copies of paperwork for us and calmed me down as she worked with her scheduled clients in other offices. Mrs Gardner saved my husbands clearance and helped us save our home with our bankruptcy! She is wonderful!

After scouring Google for a fair/reputable law firm that I trusted to handle my uncontested divorce I came across Virginia Family Law Center.
I knew after visiting their immaculately detailed website that my search was over. The site allowed me to see early on just how welcoming, transparent, and dedicated the staff at this law firm is.
From the very first interaction in addition to speaking with Ms. Carroll during my initial free consultation I knew that I could rest assured and trust VA Family Law with my individual situation.
As a 1st time divorcée to say that my nerves and emotions were naturally heightened would be an understatement. Yet throughout it all VA Family Law held my hand every step of the way. They never complicated the matter further by adding any uncertainty or confusion to the mix.
The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. All of my questions and concerns were acknowledged, validated, and dealt with accordingly. All of my emails and/or phone calls were swiftly returned & answered I was never left hanging.
I was assisted closely by Ms. Medina, Ms. Carroll, and Ms. Herrera. I have to say these professionals are quite the dynamic trio. They are the epitome of tact, empathy, and servitude. They went above and beyond to resolve this delicate matter for me and I am eternally grateful.
However, I would like to commend the entire staff at VA Family Law Center. Since I know that each individual brings something to the table as far as the law firms overall credibility and efficiency goes.
Honestly, I was brought back to life with each instructive email and every heartfelt update. The guestimated time frame for my divorce to be finalized was 2 to 3 weeks and everything was wrapped up exactly at the 2 week mark.

DO NOT HIRE. I never for the most part take the time out of my busy schedule to write reviews but this is one exception I will make. This will be bit of a read but believe me you will be happy you came across this while looking for an Immigration lawyer to hire. At first when my wife and I needed to find a lawyer to handle our case to get her Spouse Visa I called many different lawyers and I was not confident in any of them as I was with Phil Mirarchi. I was genuinely really happy when first speaking with him, and he sounded really knowledgeable in this very important process which would change both of our lives. I would later on really be disappointed in having hired him to handle our case and you will too if you hire him.
. I can't explain how tiring and upset I am because I honestly felt I would of done a better job ourselves. With the lack of communication, negligence, and apathetic care in the case there is no way I could ever refer him to anyone. With such an life changing process if you really care about your loved one please look elsewhere because this is NOT the lawyer to hire. We did not get reimbursed or even a partial refund for all the issues that were caused, and that's ok. We did learn our lesson and I hope you too don't get suckered in and suffer the same heartache we went through dealing with Phil Mirarchi. This has really negatively impacted both of us and now we are left with the damage already being done.
BEWARE... out of a rating of a 5 I would give him a .5/5 because he did make a good impression in the interview. Went down hill after that. ..
