I went to her to review the disclosures and assist in the contract formation. She would not accept any money said it was for my son's re-start so we were all good. My life was about to change in 24 hours because of a corrupt police station that was coming after me. I was accused of doing something that I have not done, and I had to prove it fast that I was innocent. I did not know where to turn and what to do. I turned to John Maher, and he was there for me. Because of him I have my job, and freedom. He was able to prove that I am innocent. During the whole process Mr. Maher was very calm, collected all the necessary documents, and constantly followed up with updates. I have both used John personally and referred him to several of my close friends who have had significant government employee or military issues. I have watched as he handled very complex issues with relatively hostile chains of command and his analysis and presentation is nothing short of brilliant. He is a level head when things seem to be falling apart and he is incredible when it comes to dismantling institutional stupidity. He does it all with candor that is professional but that will cut right through bureaucratic malevolence. My only regret is that I did not meet him sooner. I have experience with attorneys who talk big but then hand your case off to a junior partner or law clerk. With John, you can expect his close personal attention. This is evidenced by the rapid manner in which he responds to your inquiries and the depth of detail and thinking that goes into his work. If you were my friend or family in the most dire of straits, he is the attorney I would recommend.

We hired Dawn's services when my mother's health declined and my Father could not longer take care of her. Dawn's office helped us negotiate all the landmines of filing for medicaid and offered needed advice during Mom's stay in a nursing home. She also has been very helpful in getting Dad his VA benefits. Now that Mom is gone we refer to her for help with Dad's needs. Her office has always been responsive an helpful. I would certainly recommend her and her staff for the variety of services she offers. Her fees are also very reasonable and more affordable than other firms in our area.

After searching for an attorney with Veteran's benefit experience that would assist me in caring for my parent's financial, health and well being, I was lead by high recommendation to Dawn Weekly. I understand why she was recommended so highly. Dawn sat with me in a first time counsel session and gave me immediate direction and an affordable fee. I had met with other attorneys that had neither the skill set, yet their fee's were unattainable for my parent's situation. I live in CA and my mother lived in IL. As Mom aged and needed more medical and financial assistance, Dawn helped create a simple yet effective life plan that included helping my sister and me find and hire a legal guardian to oversee Mom's nursing home and financial needs, visit her regularly, and report to us weekly. it would have taken a long time for us to figure out how to take the best care of Mom if Dawn had not created a plan that worked for us all and provided oversight to protect Mom's rights. All of this was done with great ease and at a most reasonable cost. I could not have been more satisfied.

I had a wonderful experience working with Michael Canna and Canna Law Offices to set up a will, trust, and power of attorney. Michael was really helpful in translating my ask ("I need to be responsible and set up stuff like a will and medical directives, right?") into the resources and documentation I needed.
These things can be difficult to think through and to talk about. Within that context, Michael was highly skilled at walking me through the documents, asking generative questions, and making sure I fully understood how everything will work. I spent 18 yrs dealing with attorneys who did nothing to assist me in my nightmare with my ex-wife putting me further and further into debt and despair. Every time I turned around the ex was taking me back to court for one reason or another regardless that she received a excellent support and extra expense funds from me, even when our boys lived with me full time for a year. Over the years I had numerous attorneys, none who fought for me or even cared about the truth. None of them went into court prepared to fight, to prove the truth. For example, my ex took me to court stating I owed over $1000 in back child support. This was false as the money was automatically taken out of my paycheck each pay period. My attorney at that time told me it was only $1000 and I should just pay it. He was fired. The years continued with similar attorneys, even those I spent more money on because they weren't local. Every time we would go to court I would be the one that put hours into going over financial statements and bills for myself and I would constantly have to whisper in my attorney's ear during court letting them know what was being said wasn't true and that my ex was lying about her financial situation., Nothing was said, nothing changed and I had to sit there while the judge bought the lies and deceit and awarded her more money each time. I ended up having to work 2 side jobs while holding down a full time career, so my new wife and I could survive. My ex was engaged living in his home paying his double mortgage payments each month to pay his home off quicker because they had all of my money on top of theirs. Not to mention the injustice because in court she claimed she paid a high priced mortgage but it was not her home and it was high priced because by choice, they were paying double. No attorney, prior to Ms. Gorham, ever brought that out in court. At one time, with the incorrect advice of a previous attorney, I ended up over paying my ex $15000 in a 3 year span and a judge awarded it was a "gift". Frustrated, at the end of my rope, I found and retained Sarah, not really having any expectations. All I can say is WOW! Sarah kept me informed with every little detail, she took notes and went over every little thing that others had ignored. I was shocked at how well she went over all the financial statements I made, as well as my ex's. This was typically never done by any previous attorney. Ms. Gorham remembered details that I had not and it was all brought out in court...even finding my ex-wife in contempt (something no other attorney attempted to do). Sarah not only won my case but with the truth finally out in the open, even the judge apologized for what I had been through. I still can't believe I finally had justice and I am forever grateful. Sarah is caring, thorough, professional and diligent and I would highly recommend her. During my 18 years of constant battles with an ex-wife I gave up on getting a fair shot in court, until Sarah came to represent me. I tell everyone I know about her and what an excellent attorney and person she truly is

First, let me say, I am not a person that gives my opinion of services I receive lightly. I thought long and hard about how I would characterize my review of Ms. Riccio. I found her through a friend and expected the regular lawyer client conversation and let's get this over with. Quite the contrary, Angela was very upfront about what was ahead of me, potential challenges and obstacles. She was very clear of what she would be able to do.
I feel she was a true professional throughout every proceeding, all the while keeping me informed, guiding me through the process, even when I knew she was busy, she was able to respond in a manner that made me feel like I mattered.
I won't go into specifics about my particular case, but I can say this, I don't how this would have gone with another attorney, but I am more than pleased with how it turned out. Greatly in part to Angela and her attention to detail, specifically addressing things as they pertained to my case and at all times making me feel like a person, not just a client.
Again, this is not just some random words, but my thoughts and giving back to someone that I feel like stood up for me. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family , and if needed would not hesitate to use personally again.

I own multiple businesses and Eric Bell has done law work for me and consultation work for the last 15 years. I have also referred several people to him (at least 5 family members or friends that used him) over the years. This guy puts his heart and soul into every case he gets whether it is something trivial or major, in cook county or has to drive to Dupage county or a neighboring courthouse he will get it done. You obviously have to have some intelligence to be an effective attorney but to really get things done you have to have a great work ethic and be likable too. Eric fits the bill, he has a fierce work ethic and I don't know if I ever met anyone that doesn't like him. I tell everyone I can about Eric. As nice as he is, he's an animal in the court room.
