Pierce ,Pierce & Napolitano was recommended by a friend after I'd been injured at work. When the insurance company stopped paying me i made the call. Judson Pierce was able to get me everything I wanted. I recieved payment for every week I was out and in the end he negotiated a settlement I very happy with. And almost all of this happened with just emails between myself and Jud. I could not recommended them more highly.

When I got injured at work in 2020 I couldn't have imagined that I'd have over 8 surgeries in like 1 year or that I'd have multiple infections and blood transfusions, nor did I expect to go into AFib. I would never have assumed it would take almost 4 years to finally get to the finish line and reach a settlement with my former employer insurance. The settlement, by the way, was more than I could have imagined. Through all of this, the fine people at Pierce, Pierce and Napolitano were by side and in my corner. From my initial meeting with Allen who instantly made me feel confident I'd come to the right place to Grace and finally Dan who were both very professional, I can't say enough. Every step of the way I was educated on what was happening and every question I had was answered. I also have to extend a big thank you to the support staff, the ones you don't see who do case law research, paperwork, filing, etc. The entire firm is stellar. My family and I are so grateful for the time and effort given and we could not be any happier with the outcome. So, if you need a workman's comp attorney, which I hope you don't cause it means you're injured and that sucks, but if you do I implore you to contact Pierce Pierce and Napolitano. You'll be in the best hands you can be.

Atty Nolan was in bed with the DA's office under Michael O'Keefe's rule. He set my daughter up and worked with the DA to lock my daughter up. After 5 1/2 years of waiting for trial, he left my daughter no choice but to take a deal, which he lied to her about the specifics. He said she'd be home in 3.8 years yet no one in MCI Framingham can tell us when she's getting out. Like most women who end up in the legal system, my daughter was a victim of domestic violence, at the hands of her accuser, before she became a defendant, and Attorney Nolan treated her like a common criminal instead. In the end, our family didn't have the courage or wherewithal to hire a new attorney as we had already paid attorney Nolan and his crew an exorbitant amount of fees. We also never saw any of the results of the work from the experts he hired and we paid for. We are convinced Atty Nolan was hiding exculpatory evidence uncovered by the experts, as he continually refused to present to the court exculpatory evidence presented to us by the state. At every turn, if we found contradictory information against the state's evidence, Atty Nolan would blatantly ignore the facts presented and do what HE wanted INSTEAD OF WHAT HIS CLIENT WANTED. He also ignored most emails and phone calls to his office from my daughter's camp over the 5 1/2 year period that we dealt with him. Two weeks after my daughter's incarceration, attorney Nolan posted on his Facebook page that he was endorsing for District Attorney, the prosecutor who initially pressed charges against my daughter (I accused this prosecutor of malicious prosecution and provided the evidence to attorney Nolan to support it, which he completely ignored, as he defended the prosecutor saying that the prosecutor, Dan Higgins, was a "good guy" and that the prosecutor's father was a former FBI agent and reasoned that Higgins wasn't capable of malicious prosecution because of that.) Also, the ADAs on the case are guilty of providing false information in their documents and briefs presented to the court, atty Nolan either willingly ignored the discrepancies or he simply isn't a savvy enough attorney to have caught them. I personally believe he ignored the blatant lies purposely, I base that on my total personal experience with him during my daughter's court case. My daughter is black, gay and dresses masculine, she's also a bigger girl, which is worse than being black or gay in many Cape Codders' eyes. I feel that she ended up in prison due to these factors and these factors alone. I believe that Attorney Nolan along with law enforcement on Cape Cod, took one look at my daughter and determined her guilt based on her looks, race, sexuality and size.

I give the 5 stars with authenticity. Mr. Leone is a very good lawyer, with a lot of experience and knowledge when it comes to negotiating criminological matters. I know that his credentials are already three decades old and are still valid, which is indicative of a professional with very good practice and knowledge, forged with years and decades of excellent work. Of course, it is also important that one, as a client, also do their homework in investigating and knowing their rights, in knowing how the legal system works and thus understand that the only person with whom to discuss matters related to the case is a criminal lawyer with extensive experience and honesty, one of them being Mr. Leone. Do not talk to the police about your case, do not talk to private individuals, talk to an experienced and honest lawyer, talk to Mr. Leone. Be honest and precise when relating the facts, and he will know how to assist you, protect your rights, and negotiate your cases. With much appreciation, Mr. Leone, thank you for your much appreciated help and honesty.

Attorney Stanley Szlachetka was an invaluable resource for my family during our estate planning process. He was empathetic, thorough, professional, and prompt, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the table. His paralegal, Tanya, was also incredibly supportive. They made what is often a stressful time much easier to navigate. They were accommodating during the busy holiday season and addressed many of our questions. I highly recommend his practice to anyone in need of comprehensive estate planning assistance.

I was in need of an expirenced Attorney to handle my case. I contacted Keches Law Group and Adam Becker got right on the case. Communication was very good they keeped updating me as the discovered more about my case. I felt very at ease as the case went on. They proved that the defendant was clearly in the wrong. This resulted in a settlement far beyond anything i could even dream of. I now have the resources to live a better life and take care of my injuries. I highly recommend Keches Law Group. An excellent law group, they did all the work, allowing me to focus on my recovery, they explained each part of this process to me and kept me informed with everything that was happening ,and how they were making sure everything from billing to transportation to and from medical appointments were taken care of. They got me an even greater settlement, than I even what thought possible. Workers' compensation can be a very painfully long, an extremely confusing process to go through, my strongest advice would be, do not do this on your own. And should you find yourself in need of services of this nature, It would definitely not be a waste of your time calling Keches Law Group. They are the best as far as i'm concerned.

Marc Breakstone represented us in a personal injury case after an incident involving a large corporation. The corporation’s insurance company was relentless with their denials and maneuvers. After seven years of Attorney Breakstone and his outstanding team’s commitment and hard work, Attorney Breakstone and his team saw our case to an out of court settlement. We sincerely appreciate Attorney Breakstone doggedly representing us. Without hesitation we highly recommend Marc and his team.

Marc Breakstone did an amazing job representing my grandchildren who lost their mother in a tragic accident. We originally hired another lawyer who referred the case to Marc. After seven years of tireless and challenging effort, Marc got the case settled before we had to go to trial. Throughout the process, Marc kept us informed of all important developments in the case and let us know in clear terms what we should expect. It was an emotional roller coaster. Marc’s sensitivity and caring made it tolerable and was so important to our family. His determination and attention to detail were far beyond our expectations. He not only took care of the case, he took care of our family. We will be forever grateful of Marc’s incredible advocacy and would recommend him to anyone who has suffered injury, or a terrible loss of a loved one. We also appreciate the fine work of his son, Reza Breakstone, and his assistant Christine Roberts.

Marc Breakstone represented me in a personal injury case. Throughout this experience I found Marc to be very knowledgeable, quite direct, and extremely efficient, which ultimately culminated in a quite favorable financial outcome. Looking back on this experience, what I most appreciated about Marc was his excellent, nearly prescient, detailed guidance on what statement(s) or action(s) had sufficient legal weight as to be critically important to the case, something that few of us lay folks are familiar with. I quickly learned to trust in his experience and knowledge and support his recommendations to strengthen the case. I attribute much of the favorable financial outcome of this case to Marc's tireless efforts.

Our office recently had an extremely disappointing experience with the law office of Bradley Moore Primason Cuffe & Weber LLP. As a real estate brokerage that does on average 100 transactions a year, we typically enjoy very positive experiences working with attorneys on both sides of the transactions. Unfortunately, our expectations for a professional and reliable service were far from met working with Attorney James Moore. In 20+ years of practicing real estate and collaborating with hundreds of closing attorney's, we have never encountered any closing attorney who refused to add legitimate Seller Expenses, which are reimbursable to their Real Estate Brokerage, on the closing settlement statement . In a recent transaction working with Attorney Moore, despite our providing an expense reimbursement request well in advance of the closing, Attorney Moore’s office failed to acknowledge our request, did not put the reimbursement on the closing documents, and refused to address the issue afterwards. Given the critical nature of real estate transactions, it is essential to work with attorneys who exhibit both courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, this was not our experience with Bradley Moore Primason Cuffe & Weber LLP and feel compelled to warn others of this experience. P.S. We were the listing brokerage in which Bradley Moore Primason Cuffe & Weber LLP was the closing office for a sale of a property in Jamaica Plain on April 19, 2024. We have direct correspondence with this office and the closing docs to prove it.

We got sued for adverse possession and easement rights on or lake property. Adam took the case 4 years ago. Just before the pretrial he bailed out. We now have to find a replacement in a very short time and for an extremely high cost. He left us in a very bad situation. I don't believe he felt comfortable about litigation. His specialty seems to be land lord/ tenant issues. I believe he was out of his league taking our case.

I had a great experience with these folks. I used Michael Labrie’s services when closing on my condo. We had a bunch of issues throughout the process (not from my team but from the sellers side) and Michael Labrie and his staff went above and beyond to get things done for me efficiently. He even took extra time to explain forms to me that my lender should have gone over but didn’t. As a first time buyer I felt very well informed and supported, highly recommend!

Kasia Wennerburg of Pusateri & Wilson, P.C. is beyond incredible. I have been a client of hers for almost a decade, she has been there for me through it all, walked me through every single step. She kept me calm and collected. I truly don’t think I would have made it through this without her. I’ll never be able to thank Kasia enough. Kasia is beyond kind, caring and understanding, every coarse of action she takes is always professional and in the best interest of her client/clients. I will always recommend Kasia Wennerburg of Pusateri & Wilson, P.C.

Over priced. Did not feel they worked for me at all in my case. But they found a way to eat up the entire retainer. Would not recommend to anyone. Update after writing my review I was contacted on how they might do better. Kasia Wennerburg having come up with a worse agreement than the lawyer representing the other party yet somehow. I was assured with much lawyer speak and no action that this was the best deal for me??? She also never had the nerve to follow me up herself. Never sent me a final bill I assume they used the last of it in over two phone calls convincing me that they did not do me an embarrassment by showing up with a worse offer than the other attorney. In fact any other attorney out there I reading this is this acase? Should I ask the other attorney?

I 100% agree with Mel. I gave my banking account number and was told they'd be a deduction on the 1st and the 15th of each month. (which I agreed) The problem is I was never told how much those withdrawals would be. My husband is a disabled veteran and only gets a check once a month. We never even appeared in court. The opposing attorney was not contacting my attorney for 4+ months, yet my balance was never known by me and was growing somehow. It wasn't until I requested a statement that I received a few through email. I have never once spoken to Peter on the phone. Although the attorney who was working with me was very nice, he told me he had no part in the billing. He told me it was Peter. Basically, I gave a $4500 retainer in case we needed to go to court, which we never did, and I never received regular monthly statements from Mr. Calabrese. Due to my experience with the billing of this attorney, I would NEVER recommend them. This morning I see an email saying he will not represent me any longer because of my large outstanding balance (which I knew nothing about). As soon as I emailed him, all of a sudden I receive all these statements. Lol! And a balance that was insane. I agree with Mel. Do not sign any contract that involves giving your banking info out. This is not ethical and I intend on reporting to the Bar. These are examples of bad practices. People are already hurting in bad land situations, and the last thing anyone needs is to be taken advantage of. Beware people! Read Mel's review, and others on several sites before you use this firm. If you don't believe me, read others.

What a Government Lawyer Can Do for You

A government lawyer specializes in legal issues related to government policies, regulations, and disputes involving public entities. Whether you are a private individual, business, or government agency, a government lawyer provides expert guidance on navigating the complexities of government law. These attorneys handle cases ranging from constitutional law, administrative law, regulatory compliance, and government contracts to defending or challenging government actions.

Government lawyers help individuals and organizations understand their rights and obligations under the law, represent them in disputes with government agencies, and assist in matters of government contracting, procurement, or public policy.

When Should I Hire a Government Lawyer?

You should consider hiring a government lawyer in several situations involving government regulations, compliance, or disputes. Common reasons to hire a government lawyer include:

  • Government contracts and procurement: If you are bidding for or negotiating a contract with a government agency, a lawyer can help ensure compliance with federal, state, or local contracting rules.
  • Regulatory compliance: Businesses operating in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, environmental sectors) often need legal guidance to comply with government regulations and avoid penalties.
  • Government investigations: If you're being investigated by a government agency such as the IRS, SEC, or EPA, a government lawyer can help defend you against allegations or negotiate settlements.
  • Challenging government actions: If a government agency has denied a permit, license, or benefit, a lawyer can help you appeal or challenge the decision in court.
  • Constitutional and civil rights issues: If you believe your constitutional rights have been violated by a government entity, such as in cases involving free speech or discrimination, a government lawyer can help you seek justice.
  • Public policy or lobbying efforts: If you are involved in lobbying or advocating for policy changes at the local, state, or federal level, a government lawyer can provide legal advice on compliance with lobbying laws and strategies for effective advocacy.

Hiring a government lawyer early in the process can help you navigate complex legal frameworks and avoid costly mistakes when dealing with government-related legal issues.

What Does a Government Lawyer Do?

A government lawyer provides a wide range of services that cover interactions between individuals, businesses, and government entities. They can:

  • Assist with government contracts: Helping clients navigate procurement laws, drafting contracts, and resolving disputes related to government contracting.
  • Provide regulatory compliance advice: Offering guidance on meeting regulatory requirements for industries subject to federal, state, or local laws.
  • Handle administrative law matters: Representing clients before government agencies, such as appealing administrative decisions, applying for permits, or defending against regulatory enforcement actions.
  • Challenge or defend government actions: Representing clients in lawsuits involving government agencies, including constitutional challenges, civil rights violations, or disputes over government decisions.
  • Negotiate settlements with government entities: If a government agency is pursuing legal action against you or your business, a lawyer can negotiate settlements to avoid costly litigation.
  • Advocate for policy changes: Advising clients on legal strategies for influencing public policy, including lobbying and drafting legislation.
  • Litigate constitutional issues: Handling cases related to the Constitution, such as First Amendment rights, due process violations, or unlawful government actions.

How Are Government Lawyers Paid?

Government lawyers typically charge for their services based on the complexity of the case and the nature of the legal work involved. Common payment structures include:

  • Hourly rate: For ongoing legal matters, such as regulatory compliance or government contract disputes, lawyers may charge by the hour. Hourly rates can vary depending on the lawyer’s experience and location.
  • Flat fee: For specific services, such as drafting a government contract or filing an administrative appeal, some lawyers charge a flat fee.
  • Retainer: For clients who need ongoing legal support, such as businesses frequently interacting with government agencies, a lawyer may charge a retainer fee. This is an upfront payment that covers future legal services.
  • Contingency fee: In some cases involving litigation, such as civil rights violations, a lawyer may work on a contingency basis, meaning they only get paid if they win or settle the case.

It’s important to discuss fee structures with your lawyer during the initial consultation to avoid surprises.

How Much Does a Government Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a government lawyer depends on the complexity of the legal issue, the lawyer's experience, and their fee structure. Here are some general cost estimates:

  • Hourly rates: Government lawyers typically charge between $150 and $500 per hour, depending on their experience and the complexity of the case.
  • Flat fees: For specific legal services, such as drafting a government contract, flat fees can range from $1,000 to $5,000, depending on the nature of the service.
  • Retainer fees: A retainer for ongoing legal work with government agencies can range from $5,000 to $20,000 or more, depending on the scope and frequency of the work.
  • Contingency fees: In cases where a lawyer works on contingency, their fee is usually a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or damages awarded if the case is successful.

Be sure to get a clear estimate of costs during your consultation to ensure that you understand the fees associated with your case.

Top Questions to Ask a Government Lawyer

When hiring a government lawyer, it’s essential to ask the right questions to ensure they have the experience and skills needed for your specific situation. Key questions to ask include:

  1. What is your experience with government law cases?
Make sure the lawyer has substantial experience in handling cases or issues involving government agencies, regulatory compliance, or constitutional law.
  2. What is your fee structure?
Ask how the lawyer charges for their services - whether by the hour, flat fee, retainer, or contingency fee - and request an estimate of costs.
  3. What are the potential outcomes of my case?
Ask for an honest assessment of your legal options and the likelihood of success based on your specific situation.
  4. How do you handle interactions with government agencies?
Ask about their approach to dealing with government entities and their experience with specific agencies relevant to your case (e.g., IRS, EPA, SEC).
  5. Have you handled cases like mine before?
Ask about their experience with similar cases and whether they have achieved favorable outcomes in the past.
  6. Who will handle my case?
Clarify whether the lawyer you are meeting with will personally handle your case or whether junior attorneys or paralegals will do most of the work.

How to Check the Credibility of a Government Lawyer

To ensure you’re hiring a reputable government lawyer, follow these steps to verify their credentials and reputation:

  • Check state bar association records: Confirm that the lawyer is licensed to practice in your state and has no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Review their professional experience: Look for specific experience in government-related legal issues, such as regulatory compliance, government contracts, or administrative law, on their website or professional profile.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Check online reviews and ratings on platforms like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to get insight into the lawyer’s reputation and track record.
  • Ask for references: Request references from previous clients who have worked with the lawyer on government-related matters to understand their experience and effectiveness.
  • Check for membership in relevant organizations: Look for memberships in professional organizations such as the American Bar Association's Administrative Law Section or the National Institute of Government Procurement, which can indicate the lawyer’s focus on government law.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To get the most out of your first meeting with a government lawyer, it’s important to come prepared with relevant information and documents. Here’s what you should bring:

  • Detailed description of your legal issue: Be prepared to explain your situation, whether it’s a regulatory compliance question, a government contract issue, or a dispute with a government agency.
  • Relevant documents: Bring any paperwork related to your case, such as contracts, permits, letters from government agencies, or notices of investigation.
  • A list of questions: Write down any questions you have about your case, including the legal process, potential outcomes, and costs.
  • Timeline of events: Provide a clear timeline of any relevant events, such as the issuance of government orders or interactions with government agencies.
  • Goals for the outcome: Be ready to discuss what you hope to achieve, whether it’s a favorable settlement, regulatory compliance, or overturning a government decision.

By being organized and prepared, you can help your lawyer understand your situation more quickly and give you the best legal advice moving forward.
