Mr.Tanner was my attorney at a very scary time. I was facing up to 10 years in prison for being
involved with wrong people. I was very lucky that he took my case. Howard Tanner is very well respected in his sphere, he knows ins and outs of the system with over 35 years of experience not just as an attorney, but as a prosecutor as well. He treated me with consideration and courtesy. He made me feel mattered! I am very grateful that he was on my side during this horrendous experience giving me his guidance. I feel it’s also important to have someone who has patience to return your calls and emails, explain the process, timeline and manage expectations.
My case ended up being dismissed. I am thankful for every minute I have now as a free person.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Cona Elder Care Law Firm. I contracted this firm to create a trust for my parents, but the entire process felt more like a business transaction than a genuine effort to assist with our family's needs. The costs initially presented were significantly lower than what I was ultimately billed. They seemed to initiate unnecessary back-and-forth emails and conversations, likely to inflate their billable hours, especially when the mistakes were theirs.
Despite charging tens of thousands of dollars to assist with a Medicaid application, the first application was denied under their guidance. We had to reapply, and despite months of work, we essentially had to start over and pay twice for the same service.
The most troubling part was after a year and a half when my parents finally had their affairs in order. Once everything was settled, the firm had the audacity to charge me for my siblings' inquiries about removing me as a trustee. This caused significant strain on our family, further compounded by the firm's opportunistic billing practices.
It's disheartening to see a firm prioritize profits over genuinely helping families. I would strongly advise against using Cona Elder Care Law Firm if you are looking for a compassionate and transparent experience. Their primary motivation appears to be maximizing their own profits, often at the expense of vulnerable elderly clients and their concerned children.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Cona Elder Care Law Firm. I contracted this firm to create a trust for my parents, but the entire process felt more like a business transaction than a genuine effort to assist with our family's needs. The costs initially presented were significantly lower than what I was ultimately billed. They seemed to initiate unnecessary back-and-forth emails and conversations, likely to inflate their billable hours, especially when the mistakes were theirs.
Despite charging tens of thousands of dollars to assist with a Medicaid application, the first application was denied under their guidance. We had to reapply, and despite months of work, we essentially had to start over and pay twice for the same service.
The most troubling part was after a year and a half when my parents finally had their affairs in order. Once everything was settled, the firm had the audacity to charge me for my siblings' inquiries about removing me as a trustee. This caused significant strain on our family, further compounded by the firm's opportunistic billing practices.
It's disheartening to see a firm prioritize profits over genuinely helping families. I would strongly advise against using Cona Elder Care Law Firm if you are looking for a compassionate and transparent experience. Their primary motivation appears to be maximizing their own profits, often at the expense of vulnerable elderly clients and their concerned children.

Several years ago I suffered an unfortunate accident while traversing the streets of NYC. The incident resulted in severe injuries that landed me in a hospital emergency room in excruciating pain and in a cast for several months thereafter, and a plethora of doctors appointments and follow up visits. I can’t say Thank You enough to this law firm and Eric Winnert! We live approximately 5 hours from the office and Eric came to our home to get the much needed paperwork signed by my very ill spouse for a mesothelioma law suit. Poor man had to drive through the snow belt in February just to make sure we got what was needed before anything happened. Whenever I have questions and need to contact him, he is always there to give me answers. He has walked me step by step through every part of the process as my spouse was terminal and passed. After firing my first TWO LAWYERS, I was finally relieved to have found Natalia. I had just escaped an abusive relationship and my ex decided he wanted to sue me for custody of our 1 yr old son.. (Even though he never showed any interest in being a father until I got the courage to leave him) He was incredibly skilled at playing the victim and I needed someone who was able to not only recognize this but to have the ability to present the truth to the judge. From our first consultation, I knew I finally found the right representation with Natalia. She was incredibly intelligent, attentive and perceptive. She helped me to navigate this nightmare with such professionalism and tenacity. I have been with Sawer & Sackel for 3 separate workers comp claims and have been very unsatisfied until recently. Up until Holly took ownership in my cases I was left wondering what was going on.
