This firm sure knows their laws/rules, and I highly recommend them for help (in my case on employment law). While they are in TX they do know laws outside the state, which was perfect for me as I don't reside in the same state that my corporation does.
Katie was patient and explained complex documents in layman's terms so I could understand what I was reading in my corporate documents. She also had insightful recommendations for things I should or should not do, which I am very thankful for.
I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is a top notch, professional Law Firm and I will return (hopefully not too soon) with my future law needs.

Paulette Mueller made my grandmothers estate go broke, made her delinquent on her taxes (simply did not file) cancelled our homeowners insurance and accepted only roughly 8k on a full coverage 250k+ policy which has led to black mold growing in the home my grandparents built by hand making my baby very sick. Made disgusting remarks about our home upon inspection in regards to a guardianship proceeding while we remained polite and courteous despite the situation, and now, at the ripe age of 21 I am in therapy full time over the horrific consequences she and (others involved) caused that have now fallen upon my shoulders. I am utterly disappointed, and heartbroken. I will never be the same. My grandmother died in vain, under ungodly amounts of stress. May God guide Paulette to have a heart full of empathy and compassion towards her future victims. Only the Lord knows the amount of trauma and havoc she reaped on my beautiful grandmother. May God guide her to remain in a mindset of kindness, and fairness, as I wouldn’t wish this turmoil on anyone. But as my grandmother would want me to live, I forgive her. I only hope for her growth and progress in a positive direction for the future. I. Will. Never. Be. The. Same. I am gone. At the age of 21, I am now a shell of who I once was. The person that raised me from diapers, put me into college, got my first car, carried herself in such a generous and Godly manner, died in vain. May God rest her beautiful soul, because now her pain and stressors have become an everyday part of my life. The only human beings that loved me unconditionally, my grandparents(parents), are now dead and gone forever, and I am alone in this scary world. I'm writing this letter to formally thank you for representing me. When I came to you; I was 3 plus years into a case that felt like it would never end, I had what I thought was the best legal representation but learned very quickly that wasn’t the case.
I cannot thank you enough for meeting with me and taking my case over. I quickly learned my former attorney did little to nothing on the matter. Let me not go without saying you took this case knowing you had to be ready for trial in 30 days. You were kind and worked with me on a fee payment that was reasonable. Because of your thorough and relentless advocacy, of taking my case I had fast results that led to the case being dismissed!

Bristol was able to get my case dismissed! He was much more affordable than Bruce Fox, and on top of that he was very personal, he even remembered my birthday. He kept me informed on all the legal proceedings and if there was ever a change in court dates he notified me right away.

I saw a couple positive reviews mentioning Slav after I contacted Walters Gilbreath to handle my case because I was too busy working to handle it myself, so I thought I was in good hands. Nope. There were many errors that I caught on paperwork he did.
Travis County made an error on the lien I had filed on my ex-husband’s house in 2015, and Slav basically said there was nothing I could do about that.
My ex-was trying to get me to drop the $1000/mo spousal maintenance because he had to go on disability. He hadn’t been paying anything for the past 8 years except for the 2 years he was garnished.
John Hennan was my ex-husband’s attorney and he kept making lowball offers that I had TOLD Slav I would not accept, but, to run up the bill with 6-min minimum calls, Slav would call me himself, saying he was obligated to present all offers. It was also interfering with my job, which was also a huge issue.
Luckily I had a friend in California who is an attorney and she was happy to read the documents that Slav sent, and pointed out several errors, and she made helpful recommendations.
As far as Travis county and the lien error, I used my lunch break to contact them, showed them the error, and told the clerk I needed the corrected lien ASAP because my ex- was trying to sell his house quickly through Zillow. The Travis Clerk was amazing. She not only made the correction, but she emailed and mailed a certified copy that I was able to send to Zillow.
I had to pay a $5000 retainer for someone to just use it all up and ask me to sign documents with errors.
I will never use this firm again.
I would have done it pro se if I didn’t live in WilCo and have a great day job.

We all know how tuff and unnerving a custody battle can be, but Slav calmed me and walked me thru the steps. He and his team where in contact with me every step of the way. I had a unique custody case that was a bit of an uphill battle for what I wanted to accomplish. Slav Talavera was incredible and got me AMAZING results and I was completely done within a few months. I thought this would drag out through the end of the year. He was extremely thorough and excellent with communication. I hope I won't need their services again, but will go back to them if I ever do and I highly recommend Walters Gilbreath.

Do NOT hire this guy if your employer is discriminating against you. I paid him 5k to represent me. After my payment cleared, he began communicating with me less. He then said in an email, that since I was going to lose, I should work out a separation agreement. Why would I pay this jerk 5k if I was going to lose? He dodged my calls the entire night after he sent that email. I had to demand my money back email. He made some slimey statement in an email reply about how he wasn't making much by representing me. I replied threatening to complain to the State Bar if he didn't return my money. He kept $200 saying that's they cost of using Am. Express. He never did return my calls. This was for me, a horrible experience I don't intend to repeat. Save your money and avoid this guy!!!

Worst experience in my life!!
I recently had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with Bergquist Law Firm. After hiring them to handle a legal matter, I found their communication to be lacking and their representation to be subpar. The lawyers seemed disorganized and unprepared, and I felt like my case was not given the attention it deserved.
Furthermore, I encountered billing issues and unexpected fees that were not transparently communicated to me. This lack of transparency and professionalism left me feeling frustrated and let down.
I would caution anyone considering hiring Bergquist Law Firm to thoroughly research their options and carefully consider whether this firm is the right fit for their legal needs. My experience with them was disappointing and left me questioning the integrity and competence of their legal services.

I searched around and spoke to a few lawyers that didn’t want to take my simple divorce case. I continued searching, and then found the Shannon Family Law Firm. The reviews are not perfect, but overall there seemed to be more pleased clients who used them. So I decided to call and I won’t go into a lot of detail, but I have spoken with the paralegal Jodie Ward-House and attorney Richard Shannon whom I have decided to hire for my case. Jodie and Richard have been very kind and thorough in explaining the details of how my particular case should work if all goes well. My case is new and just starting. I may post another review in the future about this firm after my case is finished. However, based on the previous phone conversation I had with Jodie and phone consultation I had with Richard Shannon was very pleasing. We’ll see how this goes. I would recommend them if need consultation about a divorce case. I have a better understanding about my particular case.

After paying a total of $300 for two consultations, 15-min each, at a different law firm and not receiving sufficient guidance on how to move forward with my situation regarding a real estate matter, I decided to continue my search in finding what I deemed to be adequate legal counsel.
Therefore, I conducted an online search and came across the Law Office of Bradley Voyles. His reviews seemed extraordinary, and I was eager to give his office a call in hopes of setting up an appointment to speak with him as soon as he was available to meet with me.
When I called his office, I was hoping I would be able to quickly pay my consultation fees and schedule an appointment with Mr. Voyles to have my issues addressed within the next 1-2 weeks or so. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out from his receptionist that although Mr. Voyles was currently in court at the time of my call, I was promised he would call me back later that same day to go over my concerns.
From the moment I called Mr. Voyles's office, I was immediately impressed at how courteous his staff was, and in how responsive Mr. Voyles was in getting back to me in the same day. I was not expecting this level of service at all!
Furthermore, when I called his office, I was surprised that at no time during the call were consultation fees ever brought up. Usually law offices want to charge your credit card lots of $$$ before you can even just say, "hello" to an attorney. But this was not the case here. I genuinely felt like Mr. Voyles and his staff's primary concern was just immediately addressing my concerns and nothing more.
In fact, when Mr. Voyles called me, he spoke to me for over 40 minutes. He also asked me to email him documentation and real estate contracts regarding some of the matters I discussed with him, and after wrapping up our conversation, he still never asked for any consultation fees.
I'm honestly in awe at how patient Mr. Voyles was with me during the call and with how informative he had been. The level of legal service I was provided by him was unparalleled to anything I've received elsewhere. I honestly cannot see myself entertaining another law firm on any related legal matters, just based off the recent experiences I've had with Mr. Voyles and his staff.
Mr. Voyles, this is how you create relationships that are mutually beneficial between the attorney and client! Thank you so much for everything you've done to help me!
