Alan Dobson did a great job for my ESL student. She arrived in the US in May, 2013, at age 23 to join her mother, based on a request as a child of an asylee that originated in 2004, when she was 15. It took so long to get to the US because her government would not let her leave the country.
When she applied for permanent residence status (the green card), the USCIS said that because of her age, she would have to granted asylum on her own. That is when Alan Dobson was hired.
He knew exactly what needed to be done, that is, to request asylum, Nunc Pro Tunc. Mr Dobson filed for asylum for my student, represented her at the hearing and helped her refile the request for the green card, all for one very reasonable fixed fee. She was granted asylum and received her green card.
Unfortunately for my student, this process took several years, first because of a mistake at the USCIS office in Texas and then the huge backlog of cases in immigration court. Through all this time, Mr. Dobson maintained contact with my student, helped her renew her work permit several times (at no additional charge) and was always professional, courteous and upbeat when she was most discouraged.
She could not have had a better attorney or a better person handling her case.

Miatrai and her team helped me get my Green Card in record time. I got my travel document within 6 months and then my Green Card in 6 months, making the whole Green Card application process one year in total - a very unusual but favourable timeline for green card applications. On top of all that, an immigration interview was not required by USCIS, which I understand is VERY rare. Communication was open and we were notified every step of the way about our application.

This Attorney is a joke! I consulted him about an Eviction Proceedings against me and he was really condescending. Firstly, he stated that my Landlord can still evict me even if I come up with my past due rent before the court hearing which was contrary to what another Attorney in the area advised me upon as well as the law in Virginia. As long as you can cure an outstanding balance a judge will allow you to stay since the reason for the Unlawful Retainer was about unpaid rent. I hope he sees this and does better with his client. He even belittled me by stating that since I don't have money for the my Landlord I definitely do not have money to pay him-such an unprofessional fellow! The prejudice and belittling was unbelievable during my phone conversation with this guy! I know most lawyers are arrogant but this guy leads them in that category! I do not recommend him at all.

Claudia was recommended to me by another attorney (friend) who was familiar with her skills and abilities as a family law attorney. Claudia was retained to modify a custody and child support order previously entered during a very contentious divorce. Claudia was very efficient and was a guardian of my rights as a father. I was fortunate to find Claudia while looking for lawyers to help me with my complicated custody case. I could not have gone through my divorce proceedings without the stern and deliberate support of Claudia Zucker. She is tough but fair and that's what I needed because I knew what I was about to face. She is realistic and very matter of fact but I learned that it was not a soul sister that I needed but yet a pit bull who was ready to defend me at all cost and without any apologies. If I could give him zero stars I would. Full of himself, rude, not professional at all! Today My husband and I pay $150 for 15 minutes talk with him and he was not helpful at all. Did not greet back when my husband asking him about his day and completely ignored him and just looked at us with a straight face. He didn't ask us why we were there for. He stayed silent until I started explaining our situation and when we told him that we've met somebody else before him and that we did some paperwork with them He said "oh you guys didn't trust me or wanted to pay little money" later he proceeded saying that we can file paperwork ourselves or that we can do it with him but it was gonna cost $4000. Money is not a problem for us my husband and I work really hard! At the end when we were leaving he did not say goodbye or at least say thank you for coming but one thing he did say to us was to go ahead straight and pay before leaving. We were so upset we drove one hour to go see him but it was a waste of time.!
