Competent and trustworthy, kind and respectful in her profession and services! I still remember how attorney Ni Yan handled my immigration case from filing my H1B application all the way to helping me obtain the Permanent Residency. The process wasn't easy, but she's always there for me, with plentiful experience to make my case move forward till its success. To me, I think Ni is the one who practices immigration law and provides consultation out of a true desire to help people. Besides, their service fee was very reasonable. Howard is an excellent and incredibly effective attorney. I first met him when he was the company attorney for the IT company I was working for in the early 2000's. He help me apply for my H1B visa and even after leaving the company, I sought him out to apply for my greencard and eventually my citizenship. During that process, I was very pleased with how responsive he was to my questions, whether by email or by phone. When I had a case for another family member, I did not give a second thought as to who I was going to consult. We are very satisfied with the service provided by Hector Lopez, our Immigration lawyer. As a spouse of a US Citizen, my request for a green card was approved by the USCIS only 3 months after Hector filed all my forms and documents.
Hector advised us on what to expect from the interview, the do's and don'ts, which helped us reduce the levels of anxiety. During the interview, the DHS officer asked for evidence (photos, etc.) and Hector promptly handed over a well organized package of documents and pictures, and the officer smiled and wished out loud if only all applicants would do the same thing, she was genuinely impressed. The interview lasted less than 6 minutes, and although the officer mentioned that it would take them between 3-4 working days to reach a decision, that same day in the afternoon our Lawyer was informed that the petition had been approved.
Without a doubt, we will request his services again in the future (petition for US Citizenship).

Having received less-than-stellar service from a large, well known immigration law firm on my individual L1 petition, my company decided to entrust my EB1C petition to Banerjee & Associates after receiving a recommendation from a business acquaintance and having a promising initial consultation. I am extremely happy with the results I received after hiring Mr. Dhiraj Suvarna at Gee & Zhang LLP. I had first taken my National Interest Waiver application to a different attorney who simply packaged all my achievements and submitted it with just an Index. I was shocked when I received a Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID). Terrible attitude! Doesn’t like to be questioned. She took my case and then argues with me as if she is prosecuting me. Lacks empathy. She is one or those lawyers who obviously is in it for the money and not for her client. I hate I even was recommended to her. I spoke with other clients she had out of Arkansas and they all have had nothing but negative experiences with Joyce. I bet that the reason she moved her practice to Texas. She won’t get away with this bullying style. DO NOT USE HER TO EVEN REPRESENT YOU IN A SEATBELT TICKET….she works against you!!!

I was referred to this law firm by Godsey/Martin (Ijustgothit.com). They didn’t want to do what was necessary to take my case to trial if need be. This man; Mr. Presutti gave me is direct cell number, told me that he promises to never get more than his client, and that I can call anytime. Everything he said came true. There is on other person I would trust more than Mr. Presutti to handle any litigation for me. He took care of me on all fronts. If I called, he answered; if he didn’t answer, he called me right back. I mean he does things unexpected of attorneys.

We came to J. Thomas Smith once my I-130 was approved and we needed help with the consular process. During our consulation he thoroughly explained the consular process and provided us with a list of needed documents.
Once we provided him the requested documents, he prepared the waiver packet and sent it off. The waiver was approved earlier than we expected. He was there to assist us with the request for additional evidence that the National Visa Center sent.
