In 2019 I had a very tough immigration case and I hired another law firm and it didn’t go well, I spend more than 3k and finally my case got denied due to the lawyer’s irresponsible action. A few months later a friends of mine suggested to contact Amsale’s law firm. She was very kind, positive , thoughtful and a good listener. She listened the entire issue with the previous law firm, and what surprised me was her focus to resolve the problem instead of nailing down.
After a brief discussion and consultation, I hired her to represent me the same case which I got denied previously.
It took her shorter time comparing with the previous lawyer and successfully won my case. Not only that, through the entire process of my case with Amsale I was getting an update based on the information timeframe of each steps from immigration office.
The best part of her consultation, if she thinks your case doesn’t worse to continue, she doesn’t wanna waste your money! This is how she does business !

I met Minda during the most stressful time of my life - my adjustment application was denied for fraud. So I was calling a lot of lawyers trying to find the most competent. Unlike several other lawyers who wouldn't even speak to you until you have an appointment, Minda noticed how stressed I was, so she had a quick chat with me before we scheduled a proper call to discuss my case. During that time, I also spoke to other lawyers, but I found her argument most compelling, so i decided to move forward with her. And i wasn't disappointed. She got my denial overturned through a BIA appeal, and I'm now a permanent resident.

I have been thinking about obtaining citizenship for over 40 years. I started to file the N-400 form by myself at first. The previous N-400 form was so cumbersome. It required much information that was in my old passports and I could not locate them at the time. Then, on and off, I tried to complete the form several times. We came to Carol after 10 years of fighting with the Dept. of Homeland Security , with no success. We faced being deported and felt as if we were nearing the end of our legal options. Carol took our case and gave us a realistic outlook on what we could expect. She walked us through our options and the likely outcomes–she told us that our case was a long shot, but that she would do her best.
Immigration cases are complicated and time consuming. They require a lot of expertise and can be very costly, but Carol was honest with us regarding the costs. Moreover, immigration cases take a long time to resolve. The Dept. of Homeland security takes months to respond to just about any filing and cases can go on for years--ours went on for 12.
It is difficult to find an honest, qualified immigration attorney. Our previous lawyer missed deadlines, didn't return our phone calls, and ultimately kept all of the money we paid her even though we were facing deportation because she had missed numerous immigration deadlines.
