Betty is the best immigration attorney I have ever met and could ever imagine. She guided me through my H1B and green card application process. I recently hired Betty to assist with processing the forms for my wife and stepdaughter's I-751's to give remove the conditions (from our marriage) on their permanent resident status. They are both from China and we had married several years ago. Betty met with us personally to confirm that we were the right 'fit' and that all of our questions were answered. She promptly answered my phone call and emails, with out fail and her answers to my questions were always detailed and complete. She offered several options for us to decide and offered her expert opinion on the best choice for our particular circumstances. When she had originally filed for us, the wait time was expected to be 18 months. We received their new green cards in just over 10 months in large part, I believe, due to the completeness and accuracy of the forms and evidence that Betty had prepared for us. I cannot say enough about her knowledge, thoroughness, patience and responsiveness. I highly recommend her services!

During 2011-2013 John helped me with the process to change my Visa Status. The school I was enrolled in committed several mistakes leading the change of visa from a J1 to an F1 that eventually the Visa was denied and the case was cancelled in two different occasions. John finally took care of the process and later on had to intervened with the school to avoid having me paying the fees that the USCIS required in order to re-open my case. After waiting for a long time I did get my Visa. John charged me a fee that took in consideration my financial situation.

Danielle consulted on my naturalization case in 2016. She was up front about the cost, did a deep dive on the particulars of my case with me, gave specific pointers and advice about paperwork and then, unlike most consultants, told me that I didn't need her to complete my citizenship. She pointed me in the right direction and sent me on my way. With her advice from that consultation I printed my own paperwork and applied for naturalization in January 2017 and became a citizen in November 2017. She could have told me I needed her for everything and charged me several thousand dollars...but she didn't. I've recommended Danielle to at least 2 other friends. She is excellent.

In the spring of 2012 I found myself visiting my Partner of 18 years at the Department of Homeland Security GEO Prison located in Tacoma WA. I was trying to talk through the thick glass, on the phone, WE could not speak. The emotions were so strong we both just sat there and cried we were going for a 3 year deportation vs a 10 year deportation. He would be able to apply to reenter the US in 3 years not 10 years. His Crime was an over-stay on his visitor’s visa. The case took on some more complications and the need for an attorney was apparent. While staying with our plan of going for a 3 year deportation, I was waiting in the holding area before seeing the Judge. (This is after 2 months in Jail it took 3 months to get him out) It’s where family waits to see their Inmate go to court It is mostly filled with attorneys waiting to take on cases (like a room full of sharks) My mind was struggling to find a way to help!
At that point Sharon Healey approached me and saw the stress and fear of losing my life Partner and soulmate after 18 years together. At this time the United States did not recognize same sex couples and therefore legal unions were nothing more than an individual state approval. Sharon and I talked a little and she informed me that the federal government is looking at DOMA and are close to repealing it, this would allow same-sex couples legal marriage and all the rights accompanying that. She went on to say that we need to fight this after almost 20 years it’s not right that He is deported for over staying his visa “You two need to fight!” she said. At this point I agreed to take her on as an attorney to fight for us as long as Victor was okay with that.
Soon after we were walking into the court room with our new attorney Sharon Healey whom faced the Judge and prosecutor and represented us like she had known us for years! She raised her voice and spoke- up for us! This giving us a ray of hope “this just might work!” I cannot say enough good things about Sharon! Sharon refreshed the life into our relationship and made us feel we had a chance to stay together, in the U.S. She has compassion in all that she does. Sharon takes the time to explain everything. She is there when you need her! Sharon shows the passion and care she has for Humanity in everything she does.
It has been a long road and Sharon has stuck with us the whole time.

I was granted an O1 visa to work in the USA and I wanted to apply for a green card through the EB-1 process. Many lawyers turned me down for the fear of losing the case except for Tess.
Tess was absolutely incredible, not only did she not hesitate to pursue an EB-1, she did a fantastic job with my application. Having gone through a number of Visa applications, I have seen the work of many others and let me tell you, Tess's work was absolutely superb, I am so impressed with the way the application was prepared and written out.
In the end I got my green card in about a year. No problems through out the process.

We had Tess help us on filing my wife's I-485 application at short notice. Tess was very prompt in taking up filing process. She filled all details in forms accurately first time itself and while reviewing documentation, we didn't have to suggest any corrections. Works like no other, a professional like no other. Hilary took my extremely difficult case without a second thought. let me start by saying if you go cheap you will get what you paid for and that's what happen to me before I hired Nick Marchi. I hired a lawyer by the name Frederick Arcala from Zerwin & Arcala law and because of him my family an I had to go thru some hard times because of immigration. Arcala did not know anything about immigration law like Nick did. I hired Nick in 2013 because of my conviction and Immigration has ordered me to be deported (because of Arcala not knowing the immigration law). Nick was able to keep me in the US while my case was being reviewed. It was a tough 6 years I have to go thru, all my appeals was denied and dismiss. ICE wanted me out but Nick work to get my status back to normal and Now February 2019 we got the best news that we been waiting for BIA has finally accepted my appeal and I got my green card status back and this is because of Nick hard work. All I have to say is Thank you to Nick and his office for putting all the effort on getting my status back and have the chance to be a US citizen soon!.

I met her at the US Citizenship clinic. She came as a volunteer and helped me to check my citizenship application form. I used the immigration lawyer when I obtained my GC and I contacted him again but he never answered me back. I was so worried if my form was OK. Two other people at the Citizenship clinic made me really worried but she made me at ease. Her gentle and kind approach made me relaxed. I felt from her that she is very compassionate and want to help immigrant people from the bottom of her heart. I decided to hire her if I have a problem with USCIS. I passed the interview, therefore I didn't need to hire her. I highly recommend her. I am sure that she will do her job great because she was doing so good even though it was free citizenship clinic.

Keaton has managed my case since late 2012. There were many reasons that I retained Keaton to represent me, but the highlights are that Keaton was the most positive, realistic, calm and affordable attorney I had consulted up that point.
Once we had come to an arrangement, I always felt I was in capable hands. Keaton always kept me informed about the status of my case, and I never had to wonder what progress had been made. Keaton never patronized me or spoke down to me. If I wanted greater detail, she answered my questions clearly and without a lot of obfuscation or legalese. She was also always very realistic and never made wild promises that got my hopes up.
Keaton was incredibly diligent. She read case law, consulted with colleagues and other lawyers in different states and just did a fantastic job exploring all the options that could have been available to me. She was clear in her written and verbal summations to me, and she was also clear in the path she advocated. I came to trust Keaton implicitly. She kept every deadline, was very organized, and always clearly told me my responsibilities, and followed up on hers.
Although realistic enough to realize that there were no guarantees to the outcome of my case, I very quickly felt that my case was in the hands of an incredibly competent and remarkably conscientious and ethical attorney. Keaton is a very approachable person and a very warm human being. She remained accessible to me throughout the process, and was very, very good about responding to my calls and emails quickly and professionally.
As my case moved forward from stage to stage, Keaton continued to work with me on the fees she charged. I consider the amount she charged me to handle my case to its resolution a very fair and reasonable price. I think Keaton was worth every penny I paid. I admire her ethics in this area, too, because she could easily charge more for clients who are often too desperate to quibble over the cost of services.
All in all, this has been a very fraught and at times, discouraging period, but as of this writing, I am so happy to write that Keaton has seen my case through to the best possible solution: As of last week, I am now an American citizen!
Keaton has been, simply, the best, and I will always hold her in high esteem.

Elisa gave us wonderful advice and counsel at every step of the way. We initially consulted with Elisa to determine our options before choosing the fiancee visa as our best option to permanently reside together in the US while minimizing time apart. We hired Elisa to help us prepare our documents for the K-1 visa and then continue representing us on a path to the Green Card. Elisa is incredibly thorough and we worked very well with her, iterating back and forth. She caught small errors, irregularities between documents, or things that might require explanations to USCIS. She always worked with us to devise a plan. For example when another country puts names in a different order on official documents - we decided to change the US legal name to match the foreign passport.
Our one small delay was due to a translator's error that forced us to re-submit some documents for the work/travel authorization and green card. Despite almost no guidance from USCIS, Elisa caught the most likely source of the holdup. We had the errors in the translation fixed and she also encouraged us to add as much supporting documentation as we could provide. Her strategy worked and the rest of the process went smoothly. The entire process took less than 2.5 years from engagement to Green Card. Elisa was quick to address questions even while she was on vacation. I am in a very complicate and devastating situation after my corporate immigration lawyer screwed up my perm case. While I was totally in the dark, I tried to seek external legal advices. I talked to a few other highly rated immigration lawyers found in avvo.com, but none of them were able to give me constructive advices regardless how much they claimed an expert in immigration. Some of the lawyers are too busy to even keep up with the latest immigration regulations and changes.

After having my N-400 interview cancelled or postponed 3 times, I was really eager to get through the interview, which was finally scheduled 15 months after the N400 filing. However, the officer handed me a memo listing additional documents required and refused to even review those documents on the memo which I had with me then.
Robert Mimbu's office worked with me diligently during those 15 months, always answering any questions and giving me alternative ways to followup. His office also helped me draft my response and a statement along with the expansive list of additional documents requested. A month later, I received a phone call for the oath ceremony for which I did not have a written letter. When I arrived, my name was not on the list but my case had been approved and I became a US citizen almost 2 decades after arriving as a student.
I would recommend Robert Mimbu for all immigration related issues. He is fair and very prompt about returning phone calls. The fees are very reasonable too.

We came to Carol after 10 years of fighting with the Dept. of Homeland Security , with no success. We faced being deported and felt as if we were nearing the end of our legal options. Carol took our case and gave us a realistic outlook on what we could expect. She walked us through our options and the likely outcomes–she told us that our case was a long shot, but that she would do her best.
Immigration cases are complicated and time consuming. They require a lot of expertise and can be very costly, but Carol was honest with us regarding the costs. Moreover, immigration cases take a long time to resolve. The Dept. of Homeland security takes months to respond to just about any filing and cases can go on for years--ours went on for 12.
It is difficult to find an honest, qualified immigration attorney. Our previous lawyer missed deadlines, didn't return our phone calls, and ultimately kept all of the money we paid her even though we were facing deportation because she had missed numerous immigration deadlines.
