I’m a current client of Nicks. He has not only stayed in communication constantly, but he has been able to impress me throughout the whole process. His intake was thorough. I got to watch him in court on a different matter actually where he demonstrated the ability to think quick on his feet. He is extremely knowledgeable. The guy earns every cent. I worked with Sara after being represented by another lawyer for over a year... My case was going no where and I was being advised to move out of my house I had worked my whole life to attain... Sara did a phenomenal job putting all of the documents in order to hammer my case down... Within three months of retaining Sara I had a custody agreement and my case was well on its way to trial and I was no longer being advised to move out of my home... I contacted Sara, right after Christmas2016 because my then husband severed me with divorce papers on 12/05/2016 ( I guess that was his Christmas present to the family). We had been separated for a while, he was providing financial support I was trying to figure out how to keep food on the table and make Christmas happy with gifts for my Son & daughter. Now I was hit with needing a lawyer because the documents he provide for the divorce was giving me nothing but child support after 24 years of marriage. I pick research some numbers from the internet and started calling to find a number. I left a message with this one Law office they returned my call after a short conversation they explained that they only two cases with large estates. However the man on the other end of the phone did not leave me hanging. He recommended me to Sara Bour !!!!!!!! When my family and I were first introduced to Terence, we were immediately impressed by his professionalism and compassion that was shown towards us. While driving down the interstate, my father was slammed into by a truck, severely injured, and taken to the Emergency Room. Throughout the case, Terence’s attention to detail, strong work ethic and expertise of trucking accidents eased many of my concerns. Sandy is the young energetic and understanding attorney. If you are looking for a comprehensive attorney package, then try this young man. Sandy successfully conducted couple of closings for me. His price is unbeatable, but most important to me, I could do the closing with him while I was out of state, yet, he did not ask me for power of attorney or anything like that. This case is specific to Freight/Logistics (Cargo) law. My wife and I sold a 10 year business interest to a larger freight competitor September 2015.
I was referred to David Klevatt Fall of 2015, and he assisted my wife and I with a legal buyout of our 10 year privately held freight company.
This was a 3 year buyout, no issues until 7 weeks ago. Mr. Klevatt had not heard from us for nearly 2 years yet he graciously responded to our concerns, no charge. Originally we both concluded the new terms would be amicable.
Negotiations, while still friendly, were of a concern. So called Mr. Klevatt again last Thursday just before the extended Labor Day weekend. Again he immediately responded.
He reviewed our issue yesterday, and after his full schedule today, contacted us at 4 PM Central and is now addressing issues to give us a better legal position with the original buyers of our company.
Not only has Mr. Klevatt been fair and gracious with his time and immediate responses, he has arranged his schedule during a short work week.
We are not a retainer clients, he only knows me from friend's referral, and we have never met face to face.
Mr. Klevatt has treated my wife and I as if we were long standing retainer clients and has always been more than fair.

This is the ONLY public defender that I have ever seen that got up and told a judge that the judge had no jurisdiction, and basically could not do to me what he was doing. Most other lawyers (especially public defenders) would not have the guts to tell a judge that, and would not care about what happened to their clients either way.
My experience with this attorney was brief and I was not looking at serious time, but she did her job very well, beat my case for me, and seemed like a genuinely nice person.
