I was in a rear end collision and had a very difficult time getting the defense side to pay for my injuries and accept liability. Cajardo made the process a much more pleasant experience and in the end helped me win my case against the defense side. I was in a horrible head on collision two years ago after someone ran a red light.. I thought I was ok at first but then a week later I was having knee problems. A friend suggested I get an injury lawyer in case medical bills get expensive. Heather Campbell and Chris Dugan on the first meeting I found they care about me and my family’s future above just getting another client. They were filled with compassion so I knew they were going to help me the way I needed. After two years of countless medical bills with knee surgery to X-rays to MRIs, and endless follow up visits with specialists, Heather and her team kept every bill organized to make sure I did not have to pay for them. At the end of two years they got me every dollar that was available and the cherry on top was they knew the law so well that health insurance couldn’t come after me after the settlement. My family of 5 is forever grateful to Heather and Chris as there were times where I couldn’t work and was so worried if we couldn’t recover it but they got me all my missed pay and more. Now after everything is over I made some trusted good friends vs just a service I used. Truthfully, I don't know where I'd be without Chris and Heather. Navigating an injury is hard enough on its own, but dealing with the legalities around it can be debilitating - these two made sure it was anything but that for me. I would have been overwhelmed without Gary’s help. I have no independent memory of the accident or of my first days in the hospital. I had neither the memory nor the strength to have done what Gary and his legal assistant did for me and my wife:

I was involved in a car accident in 2014 where I was injured by a driver who ran a red light. I had never been injured in a car accident before, and had no idea where to turn. I received Gary's name from another attorney, and knew I wanted to hire him the first time I met with him. I did interview 2 different attorneys for my case, and after my appointment with Gary, I knew which attorney to put my trust in. I have NEVER regretted that decision. My injuries did require extensive physical therapy and shoulder surgery, with more physical therapy. The case was open for over 3 years, and Gary as well as his paralegal, Tresa, followed up with me constantly to check on the status of my recovery, and also to keep track of all of my medical expenses, as well as time away from work. I felt that Gary was always accessible, responsive to any questions or concerns I had, and the utmost professional. These cases can be long, tedious, and so very stressful. Gary (and his paralegal Tresa- GREAT TEAM) always took the time to explain the process to me, and address ANY concern I had. I have NEVER regretted hiring Gary to represent me in this case. I was in a pedestrian accident in 2014 and suffered multiple fractures, a laceration of the spleen, and multiple abrasions. I had extensive medical bills and a long road ahead of me. After my car accident, for which I was not at fault, I was referred to Sam Barfield by a friend. I have never used an attorney prior to this accident and was a bit lost in what to do next. I was in a horrific rollover collision where I was nearly killed. Another driver was at fault and crossed three lanes on the freeway, and hit me and rolled my car. My car was totally destroyed. I sustained injuries from the collision. I was not in a mental state to handle anything about this collision on my own and knew I needed to hire an advocate. I find it very odd to see the less than happy reviews for Sawaya. My experience was top notch.
I was hit by a car an now I walk like an Egyptian. Well, not exactly, but the long story is tedious and irrelevant. What matters is that I needed legal counsel to manage my claims process with the insurance companies. I was assigned Zach Elsner and Erin Threadwell as my legal team, and could not be happier.
Folks, these things are battles, and not the type that are won in days or weeks, but months, and sometimes years. Zach and Erin were perfectly communicative when I needed to act on something, had an update, or just the occasional check in to make sure they know where we all were in the process.
If your hurt, you need more than peace of mind, You need an advocate that is going to take care of business on your behalf. If you need a personal injury attorney, I think that Sawaya is a strong option. Highly professional, and more than anything else, I never felt like they were a bunch of ambulance chasers.
I hope I never have to use them again, but if I ever get rag-dolled by an SUV in the future, I know where to turn.

On September of 2020 I was in a horrible motorcycle accident that resulted in serious bodily injury. I hired Sarah McEahern to represent me through this process. I wish I had the vocabulary to express how incredible she was on my case and as a person. My case was not a simple case, it involved the Federal Government due to the person who caused my accident was a Federal Employee. Sarah was relentless in perusing my case to make sure I was able to get everything I deserved. Sarah treated me with the utmost respect, care and compassion, not only towards my case but towards me as a person. When I was confused or didn't understand some part of my case she took the time and care to explain everything to me in a manner that I could understand, always leaving me with confidence and a state of calm. Her professionalism is un matched.
Whenever the opposition would try and slow down my case, or try and throw some curve ball Sarah was never fazed by it and instead would directly confront whatever issue they brought up and put it to rest quickly and firmly. Sarah is an exceptional attorney. My case was Federal but it didn't start out that way. It started as a standard (my term) personal injury case and a short time into my case we found out that it had to be transferred/changed over to a Federal Torts' branch case. Sarah didn't blink an eye or miss a step changing gears from one arena to another.

Mr. Furtado was instrumental in our successful resolution of a large hail damage claim against the insurance company. He was extremely knowledgeable and his advice and strategy was absolutely client focused. His main objective was to get our damages covered. Most attorneys in this field seem to be focused on getting a reasonable settlement with with as little effort as possible. David helped me with a domestic violence case that was complicated by exaggerated claims from the victim. My desired outcome was a deferred judgement which was not happening as long as the court had reason not to. David used extensive knowledge of procedural motions and the prosecution to gain victory after many months of work.

My wife and I hired Mr. Damschen to defend us against a complicated lawsuit filed against us by a reckless and negligent hardwood flooring contractor. Mr. Damschen initially provided us with free phone consultations and then we hired him to represent us.
Mr. Damschen is personable, cordial and easy to speak with as he does well to translate legal jargon into common English. He was always well prepared and did considerable research to stay on top of the case.
He was successful in getting a number of claims against us withdrawn or dismissed and ultimately put us in a good situation to address the true matter at hand which was complicated by the contractor's frivolous claims.
