Martin put in the effort to help me with my occupational license. Because of circumstances out of his control, he could not help me but gave me my money back and told me exactly how to go to the court i needed to. What lawyer does that? Paulette Mueller made my grandmothers estate go broke, made her delinquent on her taxes (simply did not file) cancelled our homeowners insurance and accepted only roughly 8k on a full coverage 250k+ policy which has led to black mold growing in the home my grandparents built by hand making my baby very sick. Made disgusting remarks about our home upon inspection in regards to a guardianship proceeding while we remained polite and courteous despite the situation, and now, at the ripe age of 21 I am in therapy full time over the horrific consequences she and (others involved) caused that have now fallen upon my shoulders. I am utterly disappointed, and heartbroken. I will never be the same. My grandmother died in vain, under ungodly amounts of stress. May God guide Paulette to have a heart full of empathy and compassion towards her future victims. Only the Lord knows the amount of trauma and havoc she reaped on my beautiful grandmother. May God guide her to remain in a mindset of kindness, and fairness, as I wouldn’t wish this turmoil on anyone. But as my grandmother would want me to live, I forgive her. I only hope for her growth and progress in a positive direction for the future. I. Will. Never. Be. The. Same. I am gone. At the age of 21, I am now a shell of who I once was. The person that raised me from diapers, put me into college, got my first car, carried herself in such a generous and Godly manner, died in vain. May God rest her beautiful soul, because now her pain and stressors have become an everyday part of my life. The only human beings that loved me unconditionally, my grandparents(parents), are now dead and gone forever, and I am alone in this scary world. I hired David Gibson after talking to several attorneys, based on his thoughts on my defense case and on his experience. David may be a great attorney for businesses, but I realize now that David was not the right attorney for my personal defense case, as he mainly represents businesses in litigation and I don’t own a business. This may be the reason why I felt that David and his staff didn’t spend a great deal of time in aggressively defending my case. David left most of the work to his junior associate whose inexperience and failure to answer my emails as the trial date was approaching caused me a great deal of stress and disappointment in his handling of my case. In retrospect I feel that it would have been better for him to have declined taking the case.

This lawyer came highly recommended! He NEVER went and saw his client! He didn’t communicate as he assured he would! Once he got his money it was radio silence! He never informed the family of canceled court dates knowing that they were driving in from Houston! He’s arrogant and very smug! He talked crazy and was very argumentative with my mother who’s a senior citizen! He lied and was very disrespectful and when I asked him to apologize, he said he would but didn’t! This is a stressful time for families and for a PAID attorney to behave this way is unacceptable! This is why SOME PEOPLE don’t like working with attorneys of our own skin! I wouldn’t recommend Andrew to help with a parking ticket!

Only reason why they are getting 2 stars is because they won my case.Mainly because the attorney I had there was amazing. But they drove her off near the end of my case and that's when everything went down hill. My case ended in February and I have been waiting for my reimbursement from my trust with them. They have continually said they have sent a check in the mail. But it never comes, I have called multiple times and asked that they wire it back to my account for a month straight and they still refuse to do so. It has been over 6 months and they blatantly refuse to return my money. I would not advise anyone using this firm.

One of the pet peeves of dealing with law firms so far, is the gate keepers, when they say no "not willing to take your case", especially after saying that and if I request to speak with a manager of the firm and they still say 'No' as if they own the firm. In any case the lady conversed with just did not bother forward my inquiry to an attorney, because it was an EEOC case. Regardless what type of the case it is, law firm should still give an opportunity for an employee to tell their story, especially if they will provide circumstantial evidence and when it comes to EEOC process. Especially if the employee had already done majority of the paperwork and all the firm needs to do is provide assistance for the rest of the way. If they do not have experienced attorneys for EEOC cases, well that's a whole different story. Regardless, they lost another business.

When we were searching for a lawyer, we felt that God led us to this firm. My husband had a business depute with a corrupt partner who was a bully, a liar, and a thief. We initially filed a lawsuit in 2020, at the height of COVID. We had a very good lawyer to help us through the case for the last 3 years but he unfortunately passed away this earlier this year. We needed to have someone else represent us, and we chose another lawyer firm (not this one). That lawyer from the other firm dropped our case because we didn’t agreed to have second mediation, even though we thoroughly explained to him we knew it was a waste our money, since the first mediation was very unsuccessful. Again in search of a new lawyer, God led us to the Godwin & Bowmen firm; the name Godwin itself was a very favorable sign for us. After we researched about Mr Ira Bowman we decide to have him & his partner (Ms Samantha Baynes) to help us with the case that was ongoing for over 3 years. Within 4 months we got the court day & my husband won the case - Praise God! I give thanks to Mr Ira for his knowledge, wisdom, boldness, friendliness & humility. The second lawyer that we had that dropped us was really prideful. One of the pet peeves of dealing with law firms so far, is the gate keepers, when they say no "not willing to take your case", especially after saying that and if I request to speak with a manager of the firm and they still say 'No' as if they own the firm. In any case the lady conversed with just did not bother forward my inquiry to an attorney, because it was an EEOC case. Regardless what type of the case it is, law firm should still give an opportunity for an employee to tell their story, especially if they will provide circumstantial evidence and when it comes to EEOC process. Especially if the employee had already done majority of the paperwork and all the firm needs to do is provide assistance for the rest of the way. If they do not have experienced attorneys for EEOC cases, well that's a whole different story. Regardless, they lost another business.

When we were searching for a lawyer, we felt that God led us to this firm. My husband had a business depute with a corrupt partner who was a bully, a liar, and a thief.
