I recently had a phone consultation with Ray, and while I typically treat BAR members like I treat Federal Reserve Notes—acknowledge their existence but don’t put too much faith in them—I have to admit, this one didn't immediately trigger my "fraudulent adhesion contract" radar. A rare feat, indeed.
To my surprise, Ray was knowledgeable, professional, and didn't try to gaslight me into believing I’m just another helpless soul lost in the maritime fog of presumed liability. He actually listened, provided solid insights, and—brace yourself—spoke in a way that didn’t require me to decode legalese like I’m deciphering an IRS tax form while blindfolded.
Now, am I ready to swear an oath of allegiance to the BAR? Absolutely not! But did this consultation help ease my situation and clarify some key points? Yes. He may not have issued me a Letter of Marque, but at least he didn’t try to drag me back onto the pirate ship.
For those navigating the choppy waters of the legal system while trying to remain in the private, this attorney might just be a safe port… or at least a dry dock that doesn’t come with an automatic lien.
Would I recommend them? Let’s just say, if you ever find yourself in a legal pickle and don’t have time to hit them with an affidavit first, they might be worth a call. Just make sure you’re not unwittingly entering into a contract—because, as we know, silence can sometimes be construed as consent.

Please, do not waste your time with them. My experience with this lawfirm has been a big heartache. Ive gone through 3 lawyers in their firm and its been 1 contiuous bumpy ride that sadly remains. Multiple phone calls, emails, texts and vm's all go unanswered. Its a shame.
I endured many changes with them. A move from Detroit to Farmington Hills, losing a law partner, having multiple staff changes. It was and remains a horrific drama. Ive been given 1 excuse after another and even endured a very unprofessional para legal who accused me of being racist. I later found out that was her response to many clients. She left ot got fired, not sure. Still I remained loyal.
Ive been put on hold for almost 4 months since my settlement and have run out of patience. They owe my medical providers. I was promised theyd be contacted and paid immediately after i signed my contract. Took them 6 weeks to call me back about a ? on that contract, before i signed. This in itself was unacceptable.
I was told my lawyer left the office for an emergency, went on a vacation and then was always tied up - until now. 4 months later.
They got my money and still have not paid my providers.
I was told to settle for 50 k and
the firm took 1/3 of that. Later I found out that amount before they took their cut would only cover my outstanding balance with 1 provider. I had about 5 more attached to my claim. Two of which, I wasnt even
made aware of. I was never told my ultimate balance owed. I trusted them. My life time future care for cont'd therapy has been put on hold bc of non payment for the debt I racked up with these providers. Have not been seen by them since April. I am in tremendous pain and have been scrambling to try and find new providers.
These people are not to be trusted. Sorry. Ive given them every opportunity to make good on this and they refuse to contact me or my providers. They were paid their money and are now holding onto mine. DO NOT GO HERE! Im going to sue them!
