After having my car totaled and needing physical therapy for the injuries I sustained, the insurance company tried to pressure me to settle before I knew the full scope of treatment I would need over the next year. I am glad I went to PDX Law Group and worked with David Richardson, who helped me understand how to navigate this system without getting taken advantage of, prioritized my care and well being, and was clear and consistent with all communication. Not only that, but he advocated on my behalf when the insurance company tried to nickel and dime what they should pay for my treatment and called them out when they would back pedal on their word. Had I not worked with them, I likely would have wound up accepting an unfair settlement. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had been been in car accident where the driver was under insured and I had to make claim against my uninsured motorist coverage. My insurance company started jerking me around with unnecessary treatments and less than recommended treatments that were not helping me until my pip coverage ran out then tried to deny my claim all together. That is when I obtained the services of Mr. Clay MacCaslin. He took over and helped me navigate my way through doctors appointments, depositions and taking my insurance company to court. During Vacationing in Las Vegas, my Wife Suffered a Stroke.. Fortunately she pulled through and was able to start a couple of different rehabilitation program.. Unfortunately she was unable to go back to work, however we were very grateful that she had been paying for many years for a supplement Long-Term Disability Insurance... After her regular work benefits ran out.. The Long-Term Disability Insurance kicked in.. However after just 4 months we received in the mail a letter of denial for benefits.. And our ONLY option was to Appeal the decision.... That is when we Hired Nick Gower,,, Nick spent extensive time researching and working on his appeal letter for us... We couldn't be happier... When he got the Insurance company to giving us a second chance with a Independent Medical Examiner,,, we were so happy.. after we finished with the IME .. We just waited to see what would happen.. We found ourselves in need of a lawyer regarding an insurance claim and were referred to Nick Gower. After our initial meeting, we retained his services and have been more than completely satisfied. Bryan Dawson is absolutely the BEST! He was so easy to talk to, responsive, knowledgeable, helpful. I sent him more than one panic email and he was so kind and very patient. After having my whole families insurance with State Farm (cars and home) for the last 20 years, they fought me tooth and nail to not help me, when I was rear ended by a fast moving car. and sustained multiple injuries. This is not the old State Farm that is "like a good neighbor". Even after the driver of the other car admitted they were at fault, State Farm tried not to pay for almost 2 years.
The case was difficult. Most attorneys, in the category, look for the easy payout cases. Bryan still took this on. He and his wonderful staff, Michelle and Michael, took great care of me until the very end. I appreciate you, Bryan Dawson! You are definitely my hero!

Jim was amazing. We contacted him after consulting with another Attorney that we are not comfortable with. Our issue was with a neighbors bamboo damaging our Cinderblock wall. The neighbor was difficult and said her home owners insurance would not cover it and wanted to leave it at that. Jim advised the neighbor that he felt strongly that the insurance company had some responsibility. Jim then began dealing with the insurance company to reach a fair settlement. We would recommend Jim to anyone requiring his service.

Mr. Dawson was hired as a personal injury attorney, but I had numerous problems.
1. He overstated and oversold his capabilities. The final outcome was much less that stated.
2. After two years on the case he did not have a single medical expert to testify in court for a permanently injured client, leaving no good options.
3. Lack of transparency was a serious issue. Mr. Dawson withheld critical documents from my review and approval, then expected me to sign agree to unsatisfactory terms.
4. Mr. Dawson threatened lien(s) if the case was not resolved, even though the demand letter was rushed out-the-door without my personal review.
5. In the end I felt very strongly the attorney was more concerned about collecting fees for himself than the well being of the client.

I was in a pretty bad car accident recently. While recovering, I received word that the other driver was not accepting reponsibility. I was referred to the Dawson Law Group by several sources...some friends, some family. I contacted Bryan Dawson specifically and explained my situation. Mr. Dawson wrote an effective letter to the insurance company and it wasn't long before they had accepted fault. My case was complicated because it involved a natural disaster. When a case gets complicated, often both sides just agree to mutual fault. In my case the other driver had been negligent and operated his vehicle in my lane. Mr. Dawson made it clear that disregarding standard driving safety laws are not excused by inconvenience...especially when you cause damage and bodily harm to others.
During my case, Mr. Dawson exhibited kindness, compassion and effectiveness. His secretary and associates were helpful when he was unavailable assisting other clients. He was punctual in returning my calls and he listened to me when decisions needed to be made. I highly recommend Bryan Dawson and his whole law group. Absolutely the best! I had lost my disability and an appeal. Insurance companies are NOT your friends and they will do everything they can to keep you from money you are entitled to! Roy Law came in and fixed it all. They really know what they are doing! A special shout out to Kali! She not only dealt with the insurance company but also kept me from going crazy over me having had to deal with them (I really was desperate and knew that I was probably out of luck!) She also made the yearly recertification a breeze (for me at least. It was a LOT of work I initially thought I was going to have to do, but she took care of all of it!) I hired Andy to represent me after my girlfriend at the time threatened to accuse me of abuse, then apologized and told me that she was simply drunk and acknowledged that I would never hurt her, then punched me in face on a later date, then followed through with her threat to accuse me of abuse when I asked her to move out. On our initial consultation, Andy met with me personally and was attentive, professional, and impressive. Two days after the incident the police decided not to charge me. With Andy's help we discovered that this woman had a history of violence and abuse of the legal system with other partners. One of her partners warned that I should file a restraining order and to expect her to do the same as she had harassed him, thrown hot coffee in his face, hit him, and called the police on him many times while she was intoxicated and fighting with him about their son. She had me served with a restraining order while I was seeing patients in my office two weeks later. Andy helped me to reconstruct the events and uncover digital evidence showing my partner admitting on multiple occasions that she had fabricated her claims and that her previous threats of abuse accusations were nothing more than the result of her intoxication. Andy even hired a private detective to investigate my former partner. During this time my former partner continued to harass me, stalk me, and break in to the home we had shared together. Through all of this Andy was more than a great attorney, but a reassuring presence that helped to get me through this tough time. He always responded to me quickly and fully. I frankly don't know how he could show me and my case so much personal attention while doing the same for his other clients. But he did. This guy is an outstanding attorney and I couldn't have hired anyone better.

Eric was chosen to represent us in a lawsuit that was filed regarding an injury on a former property that we sold. The plaintiffs Attorney's were known to be very successful at representing individuals for this type of case. From the day that we were introduced to Eric he made us feel comfortable and took much of our worry away, I should say, "as much as he could when your'e being sued." We were defendants and the new home owner was the other defendant and had their own councel. Once Jury selection and the cross examination began it was clear that the plaintiffs attorney didn't want my attorney in the courtroom. He was articulate and fearless, played very well with the co defendant Attorney and had a clear path in his mind to victory. The co defendants Attorney also did very well but Eric picked up the ball where he left off in cross examination and made the facts very transparent. After only 2 days in a 5 day trial, the plaintiffs attorney's dismiss the case against us. Im sure there were many reasons for that decision but I truly believe that their motivation was to get Eric Schilling out of there before he destroyed the credibility of their plaintiff and witnesses. Thank you Eric for your professionalism and a superb job representing us in this case. You are Top Notch!
