Justin and I sat down originally once I decided to attempt shared parenting. He was very helpful with discussing the process that needed to be done and the proper steps in doing so. Him and I always kept an open communication during this process which made it easier to respond to certain steps during this. He was overall a Great Person to work with and Fought for what he felt was right for the children in the process. Justin represented us in a custody battle over our non-biological granddaughter.
We received full custody.
Justin was knowledgeable, professional, but, most importantly he truly cared.
Justin listened to our input but was willing to stand his ground when he thought a different approach was in our best, overall interest.

Adam and team appeared professional and polite, but he dismissed several of my concerns about my ex and told me that they are not usually documented in the official paperwork and that those are just agreements that my ex and I would make afterwards. Well, I accepted his "expert advice" against my better judgement and here I am post divorce and those exact concerns are causing issues and making my life difficult. Had Adam considered my concerns and listened to what I had to say about my ex, I would not be in this situation. As well, he ignored a few emails that were focused on those specific topics.
As well, at times I felt like he was more on my ex's side (or his lawyer's side) than my side. I constantly had to defend myself to him and repeat my concerns over and over and over, and he still didnt hear them.
And after all this and settling our case (3 months ago) without proper language which is causing me pain on a daily basis, "Mesaros finance team" has not sent me the remaining/unused portion of my money back despite my written and verbal requests.
So, bottom line, dont recommend!

Cynthia Westwood is an amazing attorney that will fight for you and will go above and beyond for you. She is always pleasant to talk to but fierce in the courtroom. Mr. Kruse was always straight with me on my options. I first met with him when considering divorce and I didn’t follow his advice and failed to file sooner. So I hired him when I needed to fix things. He understood my case and my concerns and continued answering questions after our case was closed. He took ownership when his paralegal made a mistake (her replacement was great!) and he dealt with abuse and drama from my ex’s attorney with complete professionalism. I hope I don’t need to, but I’ll hire him again if I need further action on our latest decision.

Brian started out strong for the first month... talked a big game. He then stopped replying to emails and phone calls for several weeks. I met Brian last year, and the circumstances of my case were very hard and difficult to deal with. Let me say this, Brian was easy to work with, felt like he had my back from the day I retained his services. Let me give you a piece of advice when dealing with Brian, always tell the truth no matter what. If you give this man and his firm the truth and information he will fight for you and do the best job he can! I never lied to Brian i told him the truth about everything. He assured me over and over to trust him and while sometimes it was hard, Brian and his firm knew what they were doing. He assured me it was a marathon and not a sprint but to stay the course. It was the longest 12 months of my life but being a religious man and having Faith in God and in Brian I knew that I would be okay. As opposing counsel and my ex tried to use false restraining orders to gain the upperhand over and over, Brian tore them up and showed the truth! The thing that I admired about Brian that you don't see hardly anymore is that he would never take a shortcut or lie to gain the upperhand. He did it the old fashion way, hardwork and using the truth! He never once tried to take a fast shortcut to gain the upperhand, he just assured me that we needed to trust the system, and show the truth and put the work in and everything would be okay! Again easy to work with him and to set a plan. As time went out and Brian and I were able to show the truth to the court and the parties involved appointed by the court it was deemed that I should be awarded full custody and that I had the best interest for the children. That's my story in a nutshell, and to tell you where I came from and where I ended up Brian and his firm worked their tails off and got me custody of my kids! Their was times I spoke to Brian at 11 pm at night to have my mind put at ease or to go over my case, sometimes on the weekends, he always returned calls and emails. As a matter of fact my mother just passed away and after the custody and divorce was over he still reached out to me to let me know that he was sorry for my loss. I haven't had a lot of dealings with lawyers but I assure you of this he cares about his clients and he fights for them! I went from only being able to see my children based off lies from my ex to getting full custody as he fought hard for me. While I may sound like a broken record here, I am trying to show you the reader who may be looking for a lawyer that will fight for you, Brian is the man that you need to use! Thank you so much for your help, your partnership in walking with me as it was the hardest time of my life, but thank you! I am very thankful and when I looked you in the eyes and shook your hand I meant what I said! You took care of me like family, I won't forget that! I hope you nothing but the best, and hopefully I won't need you again but if I do, I know that I got the truth on my side and a lawyer and firm who will fight to win for my children and myself!

Idk where to begin this man saved my life . I was looking at life without parole on a bogus rape charge that they had no business ever even charging me with. I sat in the county jail for 2 years and 3 months over this and I had a previous lawyer named Travis Kane that did nothing but try to convince me to take plea deal for 11 years and told my wife and aunt hey at least he would get to see his kids lol guy never gave me my discovery not one time and I had him the first 9 months I was there . Mr mulligan sent me my full discovery before I even had my first sit down with him . He never ounce tried to pressure me into taking a plea and was confident going to trial as they had no case whatsoever. He actually listened to me and fought very hard for me and we won a full acquittal at trial. He never lied to me and was fully honest about everything and I literally owe this man my life. I strongly recommend Patrick mulligan and would never recommend anybody else. He does not work with prosecution to try and get you a plea. If you did nothing wrong then let mr mulligan do his thing cause he’s the best lawyer you could possibly get around here. He’s also very funny and has great sense of humor even when things are looking down for you and he’s very uplifting and confident . I had two separate cases with her at one time. The outcome for one was BS. The other case she did very little and she used the money for the other case. She failed to keep me updated on the time and money spent. I finally receive it after requesting it many times. Now I owe more?! She is a joke of an atty and don't know how she is still one. She's rude, she does not return calls, you can't get ahold of her, she's worthless! I will NEVER refer her to anyone. I didn't even want to give her a star.

I went through heather for my divorce . And honestly I didn’t really need a lawyer just guidance on filing out the paperwork . I knew my ex wasn’t going to appear so there wasn’t going to be a fight . I paid heather in full up front . After 8 months I finally got a court date . Due to covid I understood that . My divorce has been final since October and I am now getting notices from the court that my filing fees haven’t been paid . I contacted another party from her office who adviced me it would be taken care of immediately, however obviously it wasn’t because I have now received another notice and just contacted the courts to learn it still haven’t been taken care of . I don’t even care that she didn’t appear at court and sent another lawyer in her place . Like I said there was no real need for a lawyer in my case . But atleast make sure my filing fees that I have already paid are taken care of . I have messaged many times in regards to this matter and have received no response .

Ms. Sellars was my attorney in a criminal case. I desperately needed her to file one Motion that was very significant in the case. She ttok an eternity to actually file the Motion and then she did not follow up properly. Mrs. Sellars would never return my phone calls, was very rude and unprofessional. Pat hands down Jay Adams is the best attorney I have ever dealt with. He doesn't lie he tells it like it is he's very open about your case to you letting you know what to expect. I have used him over 30 years it started out with a divorce and child support and whatever bull my ex-husband tried to pull Jay fixed it 100%. I have had two of my sisters go to him as well as two friends and one guy for a divorce that was in the military and honestly I can't tell you what else. I do not like to disparage another person, but the management of my case was continually unprofessional. Simple things like failing to bring proof of my income to a temporary orders hearing—the most essential document— requesting multiple times the same document that I had previously sent and blaming me when the other party expressed frustration for her mishandling papers. She didn’t respond to emailed concerns. She scapegoated me to the other party as I saw in conversation threads and only skimmed my messages regularly as I could see by her response—one time acting very dramatic about the shock of something I mentioned in a previous email she replied casually to when later it was an issue for the other party. At 35 days to the trial, I confronted her on various concerns which I had previous brought up and that second opinions from other lawyers seperately identified where she was failing. She withdrew that day as counsel rather than demonstrating accountability and maturely responding to my concerns and I was left to myself at the trial. The outcome was dismal because of her unethical behavior and my family with many children is permanently harmed.

I used Duff back in 2006 for a divorce. The case lasted 2 years and cost me a fortune. She did not answer phone calls or emails. She does not have her clients best interest at heart. She is a scammer who makes deals with other attorneys depending on whose turn it is to win. I am still paying in some aspects of life due to her negligence.

I hired Trisha for my divorce. She did not return calls or emails usually for weeks. When I did sit down with her, she was brusk and did not take my concerns seriously. I felt like she was more interested in playing nice with the other attorney than advocating for what was most important for my child. In the end, I have an agreement that is so poorly written, that no one can figure out what should happen. Several lawyers have also told me how inappropriate the agreement Trisha pushed me into is for my situation.

After taking my money his zeal to go out and get information was poor. He showed very poor skill of communication ,being a skilled professional . his knowledge of the law was not as sharp as one to charge the amount of money he received from me. He had me to dig up my own evidence to defend myself. I seen his laziness from the beginning to the end of my case, which by the way he loss. I felt it was because he didn't,t prepare.

Once Ben Swift received the retainer in my child custody case, his concern waned. He was unresponsive to calls or emails from me and once missed a filing deadline. Needless to say, my child custody case had devastating results. I had to settle for an unfair decision. Once I took my business elsewhere, I had to spend thousands of dollars to undo the damage Ben's laziness and ignorance of the law cost myself and my daughter. Fortunately, a true professional was able to rectify this case. I would never recommend Ben's services (and I use the term loosely).
