When I was ready to give up on a 3 year custody battle, I reached out to Speaker Law. After thoroughly discussing my case, they connected me to Lisa Schmidt. She was not only thorough, but passionate about my case. The team kept me updated through the daunting process of appeals. Finally, when the day arrived, I sat in the courtroom watching the cases before me. Lawyers fumbling through and (in my opinion) literally not doing their clients justice. Then, my case was called. Lisa Schmidt was decisive, poignant, and eloquent with the points she wanted to make. When asked questions, she was confident and it was evident she knew my case inside and out. When I needed help navigating the court process involved in gaining increased parenting time and some other custody order modifications, I had no idea who to go to. When my rights were being trampled over, Bedford twp Veteran Center pointed me to Mr. Blume as a lawyer. He is very good at rerouting your mind when you are speaking to him about your case, if you get distracted with non important details, he keeps you on track essentially saving your money/time.
When you hire Mr Blume, you are getting a lot more than you think for your retainer and continued fees.
He is simply worth more than what he charges, and that is my bottom line.
If you give him all of your evidence and annotations etc, he handles the court room; You can mostly sit back and watch him work. Unless I am spoken to, I keep my mouth shut entirely unless directed, and it works out every single time.
When you hire Mr. Blume, he really is All In on your case. He is very very perceptive of peoples' mannerisms, and knows how to approach multiple situations that are all pretty high stress. He is respectful to the court, and he will make sure your concerns are heard while in the hearing.
*Have patience, always*; court often moves slow. Sometimes there are days you all show up with lawyers and the court doesn't handle the business You wanted. That's more often than not, out of a lawyers control.
In the end, do you want what's best for you and yours? This man will help you get there.
I type this as I was awarded majority custody of my kiddos through our efforts together, and I cannot thank him enough for his efforts.

I will always be so grateful and appreciative for how Sean Blume handled my divorce. I was so lost, vulnerable and alone once I realized my marriage was over. I had a poor experience with Erin, particularly regarding adequate preparation for a hearing. She mistakenly believed the hearing date would be moved, and ignored/denied my request to prepare me by giving me a sample line of questioning. The hearing was not delayed and I was immediately put on the stand without having had the opportunity to know what questions she would be asking me beforehand to better prepare a testimony.
I would not leave the review, except when I presented my dissatisfaction at this aspect of the case, Erin's tone to her own client was that of denial (that she could not have possibly done better), deflection (using a different topic entirely as defense instead of addressing mine), hostility (more intense vocal tone and volume), and rudeness (interrupting multiple times until I had to ask her to stop, instead of being respectful enough to hear the complaint and then address it calmly). I expected better and would not recommend Erin as an attorney.

Extremely unprofessional! They will argue with you more than they argue to save you in court. Full of excuses and not willing to fulfill their end of the deal. You are better off going with a court appointed because with these guys you will end up with a court appointed in the end any way!.. Good luck to anyone that has chosen such poor representation!!! 😕

Judge Deborah Ford is an amazing person who really cares about her job and clients. She went above and beyond to help me with my case. She’s very nice, thoughtful, and one of the most beautiful people that you could ever meet from the outside and inside. She’s very understanding and she truly cares about winning the case and defending you. She has been working in the court room most of her life, and her mom was a former judge as well so she grew up discussing laws on daily basis. Hands down she’s the best attorney anyone could ever ask like she really knows what she’s doing and she is a very trustworthy person. Never on time for court, shows up an hour + late every time. Is never prepared. Charges thousands of dollars and does nothing. Never answers calls or texts until the morning of court. Has excuse after excuse for his lack of action on the case. I’ve done everything for myself and even prepared all my own paperwork and documents because Mr. Barker acts like he’s some big shot lawyer who has such a high dismissal rate and is worth $5000+ for a misdemeanor case then charges the same for a felony case? Makes no sense.
Embarrassing. He obviously doesn’t realize his brain has gone to the state of early dementia or drug/alcohol abuse. Who knows.
I’ve never been so disappointed in a paid lawyer. I’d have been better off with a court appointed attorney at this point, at least I expect them to not do their jobs.
DONT HIRE HIM!

I have had the pleasure of having the Kronzek firm represent me twice. With that said every legal situation is different, lawyers aren’t magicians. I promise you, at least from my 16 months of working with the firm, specifically Kyle Debrucker, that you will get a highly trained lawyer giving you advice that best represents your interests. Sometimes in family law it might be difficult but ask them question and you will get a well thought out answer of why the advised approach is warranted and the dangers or consequences of other approaches. The choice will always be yours they are firm on the belief but work hard to create an approach that meets your objectives. I have never been continuously defended and cared for the way the kronzek firm did. It was a long battle but sticking the line led to a very favorable result for me and the most important person to me my son. Just remember every situation is different and there are processes in all legal situations, and those processes are frustrating but it is the legal system. I promise you that the kronzek firm will work on your behalf better than most (if not the best in the state). Is the kronzek firm cheap? No but when it comes to custody disputes, CPS, divorce and other family matters you want the best and you pay for what you get. That being said they are very transparent with finances and you are billed for service not a flat rate. Any time I need a family lawyer Chuck and Kyle will always get my call. Thanks for the hard work guys!

After having two lawyers who did a less than mediocre job in representing me during my divorce, I was extremely concerned about returning to the FOC to seek a reduction in child support as my earlier attempts had all failed. I recently returned to the court with Jeniece as my counsel, and as nervous as I was, Jeniece came well prepared to make sure that I had a fair day in court. Jeniece is both personable and professional. She kept me informed during the entire process and at no time did I ever feel short of answers.
It's good to know that there are good lawyers who aren't just about the money. I would most definitely call on Jeniece again should the need arise.

So, when my son passed away, who she represented, she didn't even have the courtesy to call me or handle the closing of his case in the courts! She also still has NOT sent me a statement or a refund of the monies she was given! DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER!

I had two speeding tickets I never contested and that prevented me from being employed at a very well paying career because of strict insurance policies. I had to wait 3 years to be eligible, so I searched out an attorney to help get them off my record.
I consulted with multiple lawyers prior to contacting Ryan and most were overall disinterested in such a minor case and wanted an exorbitant amount of money. Many also said what I wanted done couldn’t be done. Ryan was not only affordable, he promised me he would accomplish what I wanted.
He effectively got two tickets expunged at least as far as background checks go which effectively expunged those two tickets. It allowed me to get hired at the company I desperately wanted to join.
I’m extremely grateful as the career that otherwise was out of my reach for at least 3 years, I was able to begin. In one year I was able to buy a home and I owe a great deal of thanks to Ryan for opening that door for me.

I went to school with Mr. Streefkerk, so I naturally called him for representation. I faxed him my paperwork and we met for a consultation. My goals were to have my hearing date moved and to dismiss an illegitimate PPO that had been filed against me, with my main focus on getting court date moved. Mr. Streefkerk agreed that the allegations held no merit and ensured me it would be no problem to have the court date moved. We agreed on a price of $750, with no specific date established for payment. Mr. Streefkerk was subsequently unable to get the court date moved and I had to miss a vacation to attend my hearing. After this, I doubted Mr. Streefkerk's effectiveness as counsel and began questioning whether I should pay him to represent me in court. When there was no other movement on his behalf with my case and he began requesting money to move forward with anything, we decided to terminate our relationship. Since termination, Mr. Streefkerk has been extremly rude via text message and has sent messages to me such as "loser" and "deadbeat". I can assure you that I am neither. He informed me that he is very upset because I declined representation and he didn't make any money. I received a bill for $29 a couple weeks after our relationship had ended. I have since contacted other representation. My new attorney has much more experience than Mr. Streefkerk and was shocked that he was unable to complete a simple task, such as having a court date moved.
My final opinion is that Mr. Streefkerk lacks the experience to be effective/persuasive within the judicial community, is very immature in regards to business practices and should only be trusted to handle the simplest of duties.

I am a senior citizen and live on Social Security. I met with Ed Farrell who took $2,500 from me. Eventually he said it would cost me $5,000. He went through everything so quickly, even showing me how to make out out the check. I don't think through things clearly by myself. Upon going home I reconsidered that I could not afford $5,000.
I called him many many times to ask him to return my money and never received a response. He never performed. ANY services for me. Someone please help me.
