Joe is amazing! He’s patient and understands the laws extremely well. For my case, it took almost a year and a half to go to trial, almost a day and a half in court proceedings, almost an hour and a half of deliberations (including a one hour lunch break) for them to find me “NOT GUILTY”.

I cannot overstate how painless and well-explained the Geffres made the process of setting up a will and trust. They were, and still are, prompt (and often immediate) in responding to our questions and needs via phone or email and everything was explained well and as much as needed for us to understand the process and ramifications of our decisions. They provided us written, plain-language guidance on how to move assets into the trust, which we've used repeatedly as we complete the process. Every document was provided in multiple media formats and exists as several copies, which shows the attention to detail and long-term thinking of the firm.
We feel complete peace of mind knowing that if the worst were to happen to us, our beneficiaries would be in good hands and wouldn't have to deal with any extra hurdles in a difficult time. 10/10 recommend.

David Shultz is by far the best attorney I have ever spoken with. I never thought I would ever need a criminal lawyer in my life. This stuff just freaks me out. But stuff happens.... It was my lucky day that I googled and found Dave.
Dave was super helpful and professional. During our first meeting he spent around 2 hours educating us about the process, risks options and recommended us a plan that we all agreed to.

Due to family issues I have unfortunately needed to contact and work with different attorneys over the years. I reached out to Micaela for a child custody matter. A minor child, who was a relative, was being abused and I needed legal advice and potentially an attorney. I am very happy I reached out to Micaela. In my first face to face meeting with Micaela I could tell something was different. She didn't just listen for key words or phrases. Micaela asked questions that demonstrated she was genuinely concerned. After the initial consultation I knew I wanted to hire her.
During the family court process, Micaela was honest about what to expect and what actions were needed. Many times I would express frustrations with government officials, and sometimes the system. Micaela was always able to help me put thing into perspective.
Working with Micaela I felt like I had a genuine advocate. She wasn't just an attorney I hired to help get a family member out of danger, she felt like a genuine partner. She always kept me informed about each step along the way. Micaela and her team were also very prepared when anything needed to be filed. Before any court appearances or filings, Micaela explained what motion was going to be filed and why. When I would ask questions about the judge, or the proceedings, or any other legal matter, Micaela was ready with an answer, or she would always get back to me in a timely manner. I appreciated her humility and honesty.
The qualities I appreciated most about Micaela were -
1 - her honesty - she was upfront about expectations
2 - her humility - she was not afraid to acknowledge her own limitations
3 - her preparation - she always had a plan B (and sometimes C) and she always explained my options. Knowing she was prepared gave me confidence in court.
4 - communication - her office was quick to respond and open
5 - genuine - I felt like she genuinely cared about my case.
6 - tenacity - I felt good knowing I have a "bulldog" on my side. I felt comfortable hearing Micaela be my (and the minor child's) advocate. I felt as if she was fighting hard for the child's safety.
I would hire Micaela again in a heartbeat. Hopefully I won't be in need of her services ever again. If I am ever in need of an attorney for child custody, Micaela will just be the first person I contact, she will be the only person I contact.
I'm very thankful that Micaela was available when I needed her services.

My issue didn't actually make it into the courtroom, I needed someone to advocate for me from a position of having experience with the law. And I needed someone to negotiate for me, who was not emotionally attached to a situation and would be much more capable than me maintaining a level head while speaking on my behalf. Which are definitely qualities that a good criminal defense attorney should have. Mr DeMarco has what could best be described as a bulldog attitude concerning litigation. Aggressive, determined, and possessive of a personality that is charismatic, but carries an air of menace. which is thankfully directed towards his opponents on your behalf. His partner at the time Jorma Cavaleri was also quite skilled. Very deep thinking, verbose, and jovial. They actually complimented each other quite well as a team. At least personality-wise as I've said my matter never made it into a courtroom. Just the same they did manage to secure victory for me. And if you are considering hiring him as an attorney, you could definitely do far worse. And considering the amount of potentially displayed when I met him 12 years ago I'm sure he's done nothing but improved tremendously since then.
You would do yourself a disservice by not at least contacting him about a consultation.

My husband was facing 7+ years in prison, Alex worked tremendously hard on his case. Alex advised us on resources to use like a phycological evaluation, classes, chemical dependency evaluations, etc. This was a very scary situation that we were in and with Alex's hard work and determination my husband went from 7+ years in prison to a plea deal with up to 7 years of probation. I reached out to Kelly regarding my wrongful conviction for domestic violence which was preventing me from owning/possessing a fire. If it wasn’t for my love of hunting specifically with my dad I probably would’ve gone on with my life but instead I explained my situation to Kelly, she sounded positive about restoring my rights. Took a few months but the wait paid off. I now have my conceal carry and the joy of being able to purchase weapons. More importantly I get to hunt with my dad without looking over my shoulder. I didn't have a good experience working with Thiemann. I was referred to him by another attorney at this firm. He was my representation for a shirt while. Thiemann had me in tears & I felt like he was the opposing attorney against me when he was supposed to be helping me. He made me feel like I was stupid almost every time I talked to him.
They had another attorney I had worked with do the rest of Thiemanns job.
To be honest, after all this time, I know that attorney wasn't fully prepared to take the case on & it was just handed to him, sad.
