As a human, a great reputation is one thing we all can control. This was something Deon helped me keep, and for that, I will always refer him as a great criminal defense lawyer for life.
I was in a position of being falsely accused of theft, which could have resulted me in federal prison for several years. In the very beginning, I do recall the stress I encountered and I can for sure tell you that having Deon on your side made this entire experience very uplifting, and empowering.
While explaining my side of my story, his solutions were immediate (Gave me solutions during my explanation haha, that's how quick). Before we even finished our call, I already felt that everything was going to be resolved due to the confidence, energy, and reassurance I received from him. With the court system backed up due to COVID, the length of my case extended 6-7 months. To imagine my experience without Deon, I can very well predict that those 6-7 months would have been very stressful on my end.

Had an extremely complicated driving history and needed someone who could confidently manage a citation that was previously adjudicated 4 years ago. Polk County judges are notoriously prickly about hearing issues previously adjudicated. Jay managed to successfully accomplish what several attorneys claimed the odds were "remote" at best. He is a calm, confident and steady hand on the tiller when your life seems to be in tumult. I'm grateful to him and his expertise.

I must say that Jacob has reconciled me with trusting justice, especially in Florida. I wish I had known Jacob when my husband and I were looking for a lawyer in 2013. I was falsely accused of Domestic violence on 3 counts while my wife was trying to steal my money and custody of our children. I hired Michael and he was amazing and went over and beyond the call of duty collecting evidence and filing extra motions and more. He does not evolve his personal or political beliefs with his clients or cases whatsoever even though we sit on opposite sides. He got my wife on the stand in front a of jury all day from 8am to 5pm and showed what a lying, cheating, thief that she was and had her impeached as a witness for lying and got her admitting to committing perjury and got the jury to deliberate a not guilty on all counts unanimously within 10 minutes.. He pretty much saved me and my children s lives. I did much research on the best criminal lawyer in Orlando and everyone said he was the best! I owe him big time! His fee was way under prices also! Love ya Michael!

We hired Mr. Morrison for my son who we felt was wrongly arrested. Mr.Morrison filed a Motion to Suppress with a well put together argument . My sons charges got dropped as a result. Mike Morrison is very professional , honest and available to his clients ( even if they are incarcerated) ! He was also the most reasonable on his fees of any attorney I contacted ! Pat was so attentive to my situation and took care of all the incidentals that occur in the legal system that I felt as if I was just along for the ride. I had retained Attorney Koegler first but I had to do all the work of getting the evidences to support my case by myself, and he still wasn't able to do anything for me. I called them to schedule the free 15 minute phone consultation… I let it be known that I was calling on behalf of my mother because there’s a slight language barrier and the receptionist (or whoever he was) informed me that they don’t take clients who can’t speak the language even if I am here to assist. Which I find very weird and off-putting, especially in this day and age, because it has never been an issue any other place!! He then proceeds to give me the number of another attorney located in Kissimmee and said that’s where they refer people to (people with language barriers I suppose?? Or people they just don’t want to take on as clients for whatever odd reasoning they have).

I was highly recommended by a former Circuit Judge in Orlando to contact Mr Yates. He immediately took my call and put me at ease immediately. After his investigation into the matter he agreed to take my case. I never met him in person and everything was done via phone and computer. I paid with a credit card and he kept me posted with phone calls, texts, and emails. He handled both matters within weeks (court schedule ) and I never had to appear at court. He got both matters handled and didn’t charge any additional monies for services rendered. I always have attorneys whether tax, business, etc but I wish Tad Yates could replace them all. His assistant Kathy is the best and she too keeps you totally informed. If you have a criminal matter there is no one that could come to his services.
