I would like to say, I was referred to Emmons law firm, from a family friend . Mr. Emmons, took my case on for a family violence case . He was helpful from the very beginning before I hired him , he was honest and gave me plenty of options to think about . I just want to say I'm more than pleased with how my case turned out . Mr. Emmons is a great attorney, he is understanding, compassionate and cares for his clients. he assisted me in getting a mistake resolved from a relationship that had gone bad, he had the case placed on Pre trial diversion.
I completed the program and the case was expunged.

If your looking for a lawyer, please don't ask for Ms. Blake, because she won't fight for you at all . She won't do any research on your case and if you already have a record, she will hang you out to dry. This woman's not a fighter for justice, just a deal for her friends the DA's ,I gave the womaneverything to get my case dismissed, but she had other plans to discredit me so she can hand the DA's a case that drug out for 2 almost 3yrs of nothing so I had to take a deal so I could leave San Antonio and get back to work . So I plead for you to spend your money elsewhere, because this one's not going to help you!! I'm pretty sure the lawyer, DA's and the judge broke some laws!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely THE problem when it comes to attorneys this day and age.(maybe it’s just with men). If you want a game where you're being strung along and billed forever playing the rollercoaster game with you and your children's life instead of evidence being presented in a costly/timely and empathetic manner THIS IS YOUR GUY. Mr. Bancroft, i just got off the phone with you where you hung up on me stating that I’m threatening you. Get over your ego and realize that your business as a practicing attourney needs realignment. I wrote you about a standing invoice you provided totaling to less than the amount that Ive paid to you months prior with no response. After speaking to your paralegal, then being transferred to your “billing dept.” and speaking to them I was provided with a newer invoice…..with newer charges, where whomever was working before had originally just simply “forgot to send me the invoice”….what a convenient coincidence. After speaking with her, I was transferred to you where I had a conversation with your ego. Well, from the little guy(s) down here Mr. Bancroft, do whats right and fabricating invoices to skip out on paying balances owed on any moneys paid to you for the services that you DID NOT PROVIDE are just not that. Client paid $1750 in retainer fees(half of your 3500 to get the case started) and had to chase said attourney down for enquiries with little to no communications outside of ones that were initiated by me/client, INCLUDING in person conversation with YOU where I unexpectedly paid a visit to your office in August after I could not successfully contact anyone and asked about a status of my case. You did not recall my case by name until we went to your office and you searched my name.(keep in mind, this is three months after contracting). Attourney invoicing per attourney-client portals all state work for balance of $753, with latest payment from client being $631 in October.(this never happened, only payment made was the initial one and didn't make another due to subpar and in my opinion MALPRACTICAL, I'm aware that isn't an official word, service). After a few months of calling and majorly being placed on hold, back and forth’s with promises of returned calls or motions with paralegals, multiples of them and finally being frustrated with the reality of paying an attourney and not being fought for……while fighting a vindictive situation with my children as a GREAT DAD I asked for an explanation stating that if I did not hear anything as ai had been I wanted to discontinue services and be refunded via message inside of the client portal, I THEN was given a response…..but not with accountability, not with a plan of action, not to communicate any valuable evidence or structured plan of action, but to speak downward of me on the “dismal” months of non-payment……….ultimately this attourney demanded I paid him his past due amount, in addition to totals for mediations that hadn't even been had yet to avoid him WITHDRAWING. Needless to say I attended the mediation PRO SE, paid the mediator directly. I’m now on maximum state mandated child support and standard visitation for the children I equally raised because the relationship did not work out with their mother…finally divorced none the less. All of the evidence in the world to fight that good fight never presented, never saw a represented court setting, money just wasted and thank GOD I demanded a standard or it could have been MUCH MUCH worse financially. Contracted with this attourney on 5/24/2024….attourney withdrew as of 11/5/2024, yet they have still attempted to withdraw payment from my bank as of latest, 12/19/2024…….this was my SECOND attourney over a course of what I recall as a 3 year nightmare……I can confidently say, this is whats wrong with the family law system! Will edit with photo documentation when I have time.

Word of advice before hand, do NOT use this lawyer. You will never meet him in person, he has his office employees run his firm. He has been reported to the COMMISSION FOR LAWYER DISCIPLINARY APPEALS & previously suspended for his lack of loyalty & honesty towards his clients. Clients have reported losing homes/estates due to him not advocating/fighting for his clients.Take your time & money elsewhere or else he will take it for you.

mr sawyer worked a plea deal foe me neglected ro inform me of 3k-9k in supervisory fees and $400 in court cost no way i can afford destined to get mtr then jail i have a trsumatic brain injury and will not last long incarcerated. he got me convicted of a crime i was falsely accused of that i did not commit he doesnt return calls or keep you informed.

Mr. Millan was court appointed in Comal County Court. He stopped communicating in any way with me or my family. Multiple phone calls and texts went unanswered. My court case was reset multiple times, with me in attendance in the holding room of the courthouse, and he never spoke to me once. Now, it’s been over 3 months and I have had no communication. He seems disinterested in my case. Terminating him as of today. He has been reprimanded by the Texas State Bar in the past and I would NEVER recommend him as your attorney. He has foul language and is not a respectable person. He is incompetent, and does a disservice to his field.
Much better attorneys available.

I used James Milan as a last resort recommendation on not one. But two cases. One was for an accident and another a first time offense of being falsely accused of assault. He made me believe that I was “Gonna be okay” being that it was a first time offense. He signed off and did not present any evidence nor my witness landing me in a horrible situation that has not only caused me distress but had me throw $5k of my hard earned money away when it could’ve gone on a lawyer who does their job. Had I been advised I had 30 days to hire a new council or request a trial. I would have. I have deep regret for using this incompetent and horrible representative of a man. He should not practice law and should hardly be used to “Defend” anyone as he is not fit to do so. He did nothing for me and I assure you anyone is better to hire than this man. Don’t make the mistake I did.

This law firm engaged in fraud, and deceitful practices in my personal injury case. They are also dishonest, and deceptive in their practices. I just filed grievances against Tom Crosley, Steven Nunez, and Brennan Jenkins. I also had to report them to the authorities for stealing & misappropriating funds from a settlement. This law firm stole $37K from my family. Crosley also scammed me out of an additional $10K by sending a doctor to my home for 15 minutes. Dr. Brandon Goff was also part of this scam, he was supposed to write me a life plan that I never received, & was never able to use because the lawyer Crosley was in on the scam & withdrew. I have had the worst experience with this lawyer. He’s not even representing me but he’s supposed to be my Bf’s lawyer. First of all he is not professional when I spoke to him he gave me attitude regarding the case. He let his client sit in jail for 6 months and his court keeps getting rescheduled because the guards forgot to take him. When I reached out he didn’t know what was happening or is happened with his client. I had more info by calling the DA and the court clerk for info. When I reached out to him he just kept saying he didn’t know what happened or is happened. He’s a court appointed lawyer so maybe that’s why he’s not putting any effort into this case. He’s extremely rude. His client tries to contact him he never tries to reach out or talk to his client about his case. His client was scheduled another 2 months fir court that will make 8 months just sitting in jail with no information about his case. Everyone makes mistakes but I believe this lawyer has no interest in responding or representing his client. If you are appointed this lawyer I suggest you put in a request for a new one! This guy is Terrible as an Amicus Attorney, He gave my Son no consideration as to his request to live with me. He Lied and discredited my son and myself to the court. We were treated with the bait and switch approach to our plea bargain. We were told one thing, which we reluctantly agreed to, and of course regretted when none of what we were told proved true. A supposed clerical error was more than Mr. Young had time to be bothered with or could find the time to dedicate to. Now my kids mother sits in PRISON beyond her agreed upon release date while Mr. Young focuses more on the cases with pending payments than one for which he has been paid in full. OUR NEXT GOAL IS TO GET THE POLICE RECORD EXPUNGED

I PERSONALLY WAS CHARGED WITH DISCHARGING A FIREARM WITHIN A COMMUNITY OF GREATER THAN 500,000. REALITY: I FIRED MY GUN AT THE CEILING IN MY HOUSE FOR THE NOISE. TO GET EVERYBODYS ATTENTION.

Susan ann edwards was court appointed attorne back in 2010 after being releases from a 2 yr sentence I violated parole and was facing 12 yrs..I was actually very pleased with her..I got a 3 yr sentence due to her defense and feel that she actually did her job and fought for me.I would recommend her. Everyone is entitled to there opinion and may think other wise of Mrs edwards but I dealt with her first hand and if I ever decided to break the law again I will more likely call Mrs edwards..

i thought i had got so lucky seeing how she and i came to cross paths..... she was my court appointed attorney. all i knew of "court appointed" attorneys was what i saw in movies and had "heard" from a few girls i met years before, needless to say, it was not encouraging.
susan edwards is a lawyer of the worst kind, she led me on to believe i was in good hands, then dumped me off to a stranger for personal gain........i also thought she was "helping" me out with a personal issue, and with that one she just disappeared. and one of my cases ended very badly, and the other is still floating around while i continue to get screwed.
