Although I received the “best possible outcome”, I would have chosen a different lawyer to fight a reckless driving charge in Northampton. I do not think my lawyer spoke on my circumstances well-enough to get me a true “best possible outcome” based on listening to other cases.
***Edit— This law firm holds high standards in servicing their customers and I am happy I chose them. I did not truly understand how the court system worked in Northampton and Attorney Huff spent his time to explaining how it worked and validated my concerns (now null and void). I thank you for your services.

By far the absolute best Law firm I could have chosen. From the initial conversation to my first court date this morning, communication has been frequent and detailed and my mind has been put at as much ease as possible.
I was pulled over for an expired inspection sticker (missing), but was also driving on a suspended license, which can hold severe consequences.
I was able to walk away with the best possible outcome, which was dropped to "Failure to Carry/Exhibit a License", resulting in a $10 fine, plus court fines (that's a given).
My expired inspection was dismissed after showing proof of an updated inspection.
Many areas of my life would have been severely affected without proper representation. I feel despite my mistake, I was represented by someone who genuinely cared about my situation and was prepared to give their best (Attorney Woo Kim).
Coming from someone who overthinks a little too frequently and worries more than necessary, if you are on the fence about who to hire...I am writing this review in hopes to take the guesswork out of your decision.
100% worth it.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this firm and Attorney Martin Scheller. He went above and beyond my expectations and was able to take on my case with very little notice (were talking like 2 weeks before court). Not only was he professional, he told me what I didn't want to hear and kept brutally honest with me, which I needed and appreciated. He was able to WIN my case and more! His office staff was amazing and always available which kept me at ease through my processes as well which was much needed! I highly recommend and will use again, but hopefully I wont need to. Monte is the real deal, definitely worth the money, I think you really get what you pay for. I had a bad speeding ticket for reckless driving and in VA, reckless driving can get you jail time. I can safely say, if you listen to him, you will be ok. He got my reckless driving speeding ticket reduced down to improper driving. Again I say listen to him as you’re paying him for advice and guidance, he won’t do you wrong.

Every lawyer I contacted told me about how they would get me a good plea deal but Seth was the first one who said "I think we have a case" and "I didn't become a lawyer to take plea deals." And man did he deliver.
Throughout the whole process Seth would respond to texts quickly and kept me informed about everything. I recommend you tell Seth EVERYTHING, even medical things. There's things he can use in his case that you might not think are relevant but could be game changers. If Seth thinks you have a case, he'll tell you, but he wont recommend you to take the risk of going to trial, you have to make that decision for yourself.
In the court room I saw dozens of people with similar charges to my own, each of them taking the exact same plea deal that the other lawyers wanted me to take. Seth was the only one who took it to trial and he fought hard. As the trial went on, Seth would do research on the fly based on the prosecution's arguments, to poke holes in them, all while playing 4D Chess, positioning his arguments for all possible scenarios, going on for hours without letting up. In the end, it was the simple evidence he provided in the beginning that won the case, the rest was... theater? strategy? A mix of both probably. It worked.
The point is, all charges were dismissed. Seth is the best lawyer I've ever experienced.

She is the best lawyer I have ever known in VA. At first I was so worried about having a record in my life. But after I talked to her, I felt so relieved. She is so nice that you could trust her at all. I had a case that driving 82/70 Mph in VA, which cause a Misdemeanor.. and an infraction for the expired license. The outcome is changing misdemeanor to infraction,no points, no record, no influence on the insurance, and the infraction is dismissed. All in all , she is deserve your trust!

Elizabeth represented me for a misdemeanor traffic infraction. This was the first time I had ever required a lawyer, so I was a little lost on who to reach out to. I saw Elizabeth's great reviews and reached out for a free consultation. When I called, she already had my case pulled up with the corresponding state law. Elizabeth was an excellent attorney in representing my case in which I was dealing with a serious traffic infraction. She was very professional and knowledgeable from the get-go, helped me file a motion immediately, and was able to get my case moving in the right direction. I had fired my previous attorney for being unavailable and unresponsive and with Elizabeth I found her to be the complete opposite. She was quick to return emails, answered questions, easy to talk to, and explained the process very well. Laid out expectations very clearly - didn't overpromise and underdeliver (as some lawyers are apt to do). I've worked with a few attorneys in the past and Elizabeth has by far been the best. This review is long overdue and is more than well-deserved. A couple of years back, I had visited Staunton, VA with some friends. Before the night was over, I had received a charge and had to return for court. I looked around at several attorneys and had a few consultations. After a few rounds of that, I found Susan through a Google search and contacted her. She offered a free consultation and spent 30+ minutes with me on the phone going over the details of my case and the events leading up to the charge. She was extremely knowledgeable, proactive, and genuine in the consultation, which really stood out to me more than the other attorneys I spoke with. She gave me very solid advice and offered a very fair price for representation. I thought it over for a couple of hours and I quickly called her back, which was a very good decision. In the months leading up to the court date, Susan checked in on me several times and gave advice. When the day finally came to go to court, Susan talked to the prosecuting attorney and they decided not to pursue the charges against me, and gave me 25 hours of community service instead. The anxiety and tension I felt about potentially having a charge on my record faded away after that date. I could not be more grateful for the great work that Susan did for me. I will always recommend her to anyone who's looking for legal representation in Staunton and the surrounding areas.

Mr Samuels was helpful as much as possible. I hired him over 2 years ago to assist me with my disability claim. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way he kept in touch and was always a step ahead in the claim process. As today,promptly returns calls.
I have a current insurance company issue & need guidance in the steps to get this rectified so providers can be paid as in the past 30+ yrs I have been with them as a spouse of a retiree.
Understandably, Mr Samuels does have to require a Escrow account deposit to start his assistance. He was very thorough in explaining the associated fee and is understandable given the possibility of time devoted. Unfortunately SSDI is my only income. I don't qualify for any assistance the government supposedly pays those who are unable to meet living requirements due to my being married and my husband receiving actually less per month than I do after the SS insurance Part B deduction.
Mr Samuels is so professional and shows genuine empathy given my disability when initially spoke with him in 2019. He has shown that same professionalism given my current situation. I would (and have) highly recommended this lawyer who genuinely cares more about the client than the understable need for case charge currency. However it is very competitive given the economy and other providers in his profession. Mr Samuels dedicated the time to assure my disability case moved swiftly through the system process and held true to any statement made. Worked with several of my providers as needed . Was very professional in guiding me through the required process of gathering office and the many procedure notes required by me from the Social Security Administration. Mr Samuels is very knowledgeable in the disability program and the way he breaks the language down to layman's terms is a helpful qualification of many definite accomplishments acquired by this top notch attorney.

Edward handled my reckless driving case and becuase of his knowledge of the Fairfax Court System he was able to get my ticket reduced out of the reckless category. I have known Ed Cuccias for over 15 years; he is a great lawyer and good friend. I have had to call on him for his legal services and expertise on two occasions to assist my son after he was stopped and cited for Reckless Driving (Speed in excess of 25 mph over the posted speed limit).
Ed met with us and explained the seriousness of the offense and possible consequences (6 Points off his license, misdemeanor conviction and possible jail time). While a parents’ threats of the consequences for poor driving habits sometimes go unheeded, Ed’s explanation of the seriousness of these charges put the fear of God into my son. His knowledge of the Virginia State and county traffic court system, Police, Sheriffs, Highway Patrol and prosecutors makes him the attorney to call if you have any legal issue associated with driving violations in Virginia. In one case the charges were not prosecuted and in the other they were reduced significantly. (Why 2 offenses you might ask; same road, same time of day and my son late for work yet another time.)

I had never been charged with a violent crime and with very little evidence to back me up he was able to walk me through all the possible outcomes during consultation, we settled on a fair price, he was extremely professional and took the time to hear all my concerns and look over all my evidence and talk to everyone he needed to and then some. I'm sorry to say that, even though I was married in the Catholic Church, my wife divorced me in March of this year, 2019. When all hope was lost I stumbled upon Mrs. Crawford through a google search. I had no idea of the firm or her excellence specifically. I had, up to this point, my other sought after representation fail me miserably and had been misguided and unruly dealt with by the Chesapeake Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court on multiple occasions. I had literally given up hope in that I would never get to be apart of my sons life the way that I wanted to be. With having already spent a great deal of time and money in the matter I was just drained physically, mentally, and financially. For any father who has dealt with our broken system, its supposed ultimate 'judges of character,' and their puppets, you will know that it is not an easy road to travel. With the encouragement of a few and with nothing to lose I went for it one last time. The day I sat down with her in the quiet and rather small but warming confines of her office I explained and expressed to her in probably a quite disgruntled way, as perceived by Mrs. Crawford, my situation. All my insecurities changed within the 30 minutes I was there, of course I was not entirely sold yet but that was just the beginning. Skipping forward to the best part; Now my relationship with my little boy is stronger than ever and so is he, academically, mentally, physically, and socially. I am not saying that Mrs. Crawford can work miracles, you have to go to her with a good foundation in yourself and the reasons for your requests but she definitely takes care of it from there. After all was said and done I felt that I owed her so much more than money.

I was convicted of assault and battery and I didn’t know which law firm to go with. I found Josue Casanova after I did a google search of criminal lawyers in my area. After speaking with him, I decided to hire him as my lawyer and it was the best decision I could have made. He met with me about 5 times in the span of two months for a significant amount of time and spent a lot of time on my case outside of our appointments. He was attentive, showed that he genuinely cared, and was very personable. He was able to settle outside of court on my behalf and get me what I wanted out of the case. He also didn’t try to get a ridiculous amount of money out of me like so many lawyers try to. Something really neat was that the head of the firm would occasionally join us during our appointments, which was awesome. I 100% recommend Josue Casanova. He is an amazing lawyer and person.

I was recently involved in a no fault car accident. I called several attorneys. With most I could not even get past the initial person answering the phone. Wayne took the time to speak with me and gave me some good information and advice. He was honest enough to help me understand the situation from a legal perspective was empathetic with my frustration with the insurance industry. In this case I will most likely not hire an attorney but If I need to I will call him. On a long list I called he was one of only 2 who called me back.

I had Dori for the first half of a case with the previous firm she was at. Unfortunately she left the firm before my trial date. I am sure she was unable to inform me about her departure because of contract or whatever. I wish that she could have represented me at trial for my child custody matter, because I felt like she had much more confidence and would have gotten me better results. I tried finding her online but had no luck. She was familiar with my case and I felt like she actually believed in me as a father, which in turn she naturally would have fought harder.
