Joe Flood is an exceptional criminal defense lawyer. I recently used his services to defend myself against a criminal drug charge, and I could not have been more pleased with the results. Initially, he spent three plus hours calling the jail to get in contact with me in the middle of the night. Joe was extremely knowledgeable and offered knowledgeable advice. From the moment I hired Mr Flood, I felt like our case was the only case he was working on. He religiously stayed in touch with me throughout the various stages of the case and kept me informed and educated on every aspect as we navigated through a very long and drawn out process. Mark was one of 3 lawyers I did a phone consultation with when I realized that it would be wise to hire representation for my speeding ticket (80 in a 55), which in VA is very scarily a criminal offense (reckless driving) since it was more than 20 miles over the speed limit. Mark gave me the most competitive quote of any of the 3 lawyers I spoke with (flat $500), dissuaded me from doing some of the unnecessary extra tests that one of the other lawyers had suggested I do (e.g., another lawyer suggested I get my car calibrated from a shady-sounding calibration person that would make his report say something favorable to me). Mark was highly responsive via email, and got the job done -- showed up in court at the right day and at the right time, and successfully got my offense downgraded to a regular speeding ticket.
I'd highly recommend Mark's services if you're looking for honest, straightforward, and effective representation.

Mark defended my son in a very serious traffic offense. He gave great advice and guidance; we prepared for the case; and he negotiated an extremely good agreement with the prosecutor. I hired Mark for a speeding ticket I received, 40 in a 25mph zone (4 points). His communication via email was excellent and answered all of my questions within the day clearly and concisely. I could not attend the court date so Mark represented me instead. The ticket ended up being reduced to a "Town Code Section-Failure to Pay Full Time and Attention." Because this is a town code, it won't even show up on my DMV driving history! The result was even better than I could imagine. I highly recommend this lawyer. Throughout our email conversations, I could tell he knows exactly what he is talking about. Best lawyer I ever hired.

I would not recommend Keri to my worst enemy. Keri did not provide adequate representation since she was more on my Ex side than my side. She also said to me when asked if she had a relationship with Mona my Exes lawyer, Keri told me, I should have asked that question before hiring her. She also showed malfeasance early on during the divorce proceeding. She did not establish financial help for me early on. We had several bank accounts he received access to all and I had no access to our accounts. Keir knew our accounts were set up with my Ex as the Primary and I was the Secondary for all our bank accounts. For those who may not realize in VA, this means unless the primary person dies you as the secondary account holder are not recognized by the banking system. Unfortunately, our accounts were set you this way, and I did not understand this is a Common Wealth law but Keri M did know this. I had asked Keri to bring up under oath about where Mr. B obtained money for the down payment for his new home she avoided pursuing this question. I wanted her to show his level of dishonesty. Additionally, I wanted to know if he had forged my signature and I wanted my fair share of those funds. Finally, Keri brought up the question after several requests. In court, he revealed that he had taken money from one of our bank accounts and our Keystone retirement account for his home down payment. I was never asked to sign off for any of that money nor, did I receive compensation for this money. This was poor representation from Keri M. Mr. B. also lied on his home application, he lied on a federal document. Mr. B. put on his loan application that he was paying $1,500 per month for spousal support, this was not true. She never used that information to our advantage. Keri was not capable of dealing with a high-conflict person like my ex. High-conflict people will drag out court proceedings, mine was drug out for over 3 years. Instead, she used this to her advantage to get more money out of me. She took it to the very end and then dropped me like a hot potato. I was on a very needed vacation Keri, used it to her advantage. She requested an item that would be difficult to retrieve while I was traveling in Costa Rica in the jungle. Keir had been given ample time to make requests before I left the country. Once I returned the divorce was supposed to be almost finalized. Instead, Keri fired me, she took $40,000 + and delivered nothing.

This review is long overdue and is more than well-deserved. A couple of years back, I had visited Staunton, VA with some friends. Before the night was over, I had received a charge and had to return for court. I looked around at several attorneys and had a few consultations. After a few rounds of that, I found Susan through a Google search and contacted her. She offered a free consultation and spent 30+ minutes with me on the phone going over the details of my case and the events leading up to the charge. She was extremely knowledgeable, proactive, and genuine in the consultation, which really stood out to me more than the other attorneys I spoke with. She gave me very solid advice and offered a very fair price for representation. I thought it over for a couple of hours and I quickly called her back, which was a very good decision. In the months leading up to the court date, Susan checked in on me several times and gave advice. When the day finally came to go to court, Susan talked to the prosecuting attorney and they decided not to pursue the charges against me, and gave me 25 hours of community service instead. The anxiety and tension I felt about potentially having a charge on my record faded away after that date. I could not be more grateful for the great work that Susan did for me. I will always recommend her to anyone who's looking for legal representation in Staunton and the surrounding areas.

I had Dori for the first half of a case with the previous firm she was at. Unfortunately she left the firm before my trial date. I am sure she was unable to inform me about her departure because of contract or whatever. I wish that she could have represented me at trial for my child custody matter, because I felt like she had much more confidence and would have gotten me better results. I tried finding her online but had no luck. She was familiar with my case and I felt like she actually believed in me as a father, which in turn she naturally would have fought harder. She was always quick to respond to any emails or phone calls---always within 24 business hours. I would strongly recommend Dori.

I'm sorry to say that, even though I was married in the Catholic Church, my wife divorced me in March of this year, 2019. We found ourselves dealing with a serious issue with our child doing something very stupid. Kids make mistakes and do dumb things. Just as ours was getting ready to head off to college - the kid did what kids do and got caught. Serious offense and the potential to really ruin the rest of his/her life let alone lose everything in college. Chris made my child feel better, let him/her know the gravity of the situation. My child did community service ahead of court and Chris saved my child's future. I can't say enough about how he took a really serious issue and lead able to give my child a fresh start after a really dumb move, my child can now move on with life. So thankful for all of Chris's hard work!

When Raimo was appointed to my child support case I spent the entire time leading up to my court date trying to reach her with no success. I tried everything. She DOES NOT respond or return emails, phone calls, millions of voicemails etc.
Red flag #2
When I finally heard from her it was via a text message sent at midnight- which I find completely unprofessional.
With my court date 4 days away, I was feeling desperate and helpless, so I responded immediately, but AGAIN got no response until 2 days before court.
Red flag #3
When I finally spoke to her, I explained my case but she offered no sound advice or options for fighting the case. She seemed uninterested and claimed she was busy with “school.” This interaction left me feeling just as hopeless as before.
Now at this point I should’ve known better and looked elsewhere for help, but she had dragged me and ignored me right up until the weekend before court so I had no time.
Now here I am, waiting to see the judge, and she is nowhere to be found; Ignoring all my calls and texts.
Long story short-
SHE DID NOT EVEN SHOW UP TO COURT!!
TWO DAYS LATER - she sends me a nonchalant text message saying-
“Sorry I missed you. What happened in court?”
She did not even have the decency to give me a call.
Disgustingly unprofessional. I NEVER write reviews but this one was necessary!! This lady should have her license revoked! As a lawyer, clients put their trust in you and you are responsible for their well-being, freedom, representation in the legal system. I’m sorry but this lady is TRASH!

Mr. Koch showed up at my trial as unprepared as if he had never met me. He did not use the evidence I supplied, failed to subpoena key witnesses, did not interview or even know what to ask my witnesses. Allowed multiple lies and fabrications to go unchecked, and did not provide even a modicum of defense. He is either grossly incompetent or in the pocket of the DA. As a result, I went to prison for a crime that never happened, of which there was no evidence, and after Mr Koch assured me that the case was a "slam dunk".

Mr Koch was a blessing. I was facing a felony with up to multiple years in prison, and Mr. Koch got it reduced to a misdemeanor with ZERO time in prison. He was also able to help me maintain my Driver's license. In addition to being very knowledgeable, he was also very compassionate and understanding. I don't have enough kind words to say about Mr. Koch. If I could rate him higher than a five, I would. I recommend him to anyone facing charges in the Stafford area. While other attorneys were hesitant to defend a case in Stafford, Mr. Koch dove right in, and got the best results I could hope for. Give him a call, and you won't be disappointed!!

Mr. Koch saved my family. I was facing serious felony charges. During the process I had moments of doubt, but Mr. Koch's confidence always reassured me. My case went all the way to a jury trial and Mr. Koch was fantastic in the courtroom. He had a unique way of connecting with the jury and making the defendant appear to them as a human being with dignity. Mr. Koch aptly showed the jury that the charges against me didn't carry water and they found me not guilty on all counts. He is amazing!

I have known Anna for over 11 years now. She was there at the onset of my divorce and hand held me through many facets of the process despite sometimes being a bit of a pain in her side. All jokes aside you would be hard pressed to find a better more talented attorney in family law than Anna. I don't know how she does it, call it a gift she has. Anna Clark Sas was a godsend for my family! Our son for filed custody for his infant son after it was proven mom suffered from mental illness and stated she didn’t want baby. I was told that Virginia was a mom favored state when it came to fathers getting custody. Anna took the time to review all documents and there were many over the course of many many months (almost 2 years) and no shows from mom. She got my son more than we even imagined. Anna got to know our family and village and trusted we had the best interest of the child. We are very thankful for her assistance

In my wife’s case she failed to check the facts. She did not do her research or homework. It’s very sad that she was appointed through the courts for my wife’s daughter. Needless to say she is ver poor at fact finding and very unprofessional. Her lack of caring and compassion and search for the truth was just not there. I’m not quite sure how this women even has a job. You can not just take one persons story and run with it and believe that there is not another side. Honestly she should be ashamed of herself

I went to Mrs.Pardee's office seeking legal assistance for an extremely sensitive & complicated matter. She handled my issue with professionalism that is not often seen in this area. She explained things in terms that I could understand & I never left a conversation with her confused. She made time for me & never made me feel as if I were "just another client". Even after the conclusion of my legal matter, she did not hesitate to contact me to ask how everything was working out. She is an example of an attorney who will go "above & beyond" for her clients. There is one more word I can use to describe my experience with her: EXCEPTIONAL. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HER TO EVERYONE.

She has lied to me and was on the prosecutors from day one. She came to court wearing clothing a lawyer would never wear . Hair all over the place . She screamed at me she told me it was a waste of her time to take dss to trail that I should give my kids up basically she tricked me in to pleading to something and told me it was not against me or would be on my record . She very nasty when sulking to me. She never sends any paperwork requested. Shoot I don’t even get notified of court . She very few addressed me prior to and when she did it was seconds prior in front of dss so they can hear what’s being said. I got to tell her when to object and why .its crazy I tried to fire her but the judges denied my request. It’s insane. You have no chance if you have her.

Hired Ms. Petrocelli to help me with a small matter that seems as if it could either turn out as a slap on the wrist or jail time and a fine for me-depending on how it's handled. So far, she has been very unprofessional. She will not return phone calls or emails regarding my case. All I would like is an update about what's going on for the next court date. I gave her my retainer and she has just disappeared on me with another court date to go! My advice is to find someone a bit more reliable.

She was the court appointed attorney for my kids, who claimed to fight for their needs. After repeatedly saying that they wanted less time with their dad and stepmom, she literally became a second attorney for my ex husband. We went 7 months without any contact from her, then less than a week before trial she pops back up and only visited him. My kids asked for no more than a week with their dad each month. Their dad wants to split custody and her entire report stated his argument. She did not do her job and now my son texts me almost every week that he is with his dad saying how much he hates it there. It’s sad and depressing. She did not do her job.
