I Hired Isiah back in 2019 for 2 cases. He took my money and literally robbed me barehanded. He never did any work on my cases. Never answered the phone or communicated effectively. I put in a bar complaint against this clown. I’m not sure how he has not been disbarred. This guy is the definition of a joke. Terrible service. Would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot recommend Isaiah Gregory, Attorney, highly enough for his outstanding personal injury services. I hired Mr. Perekh to file a lawsuit against TSA in 2012 after TSA abused me for being foreigner and kept me in the airport until I lost my international flight. I was going to the Middle East for my father's funeral and this agent put his finger on my foreign passport and showed it to me. Mr. Parekh charged me good amount of money and did not sign his own engagement letter to keep it safe for his future. Because he was not familiar with this kind of lawsuit, he did not send the correct forms to right agency until we lost the statute of limitation. He did not communicate with me and forced me to not following the case. Two years later he terminated his own contract and dropped me, since he knew I do not have the copy of the signed contract. Resulting his action I lost my case and he kept the money.

Rakesh was referred to me by a friend. I initially filed a lawsuit in Magistrate Court against a former employer, but then realized that I definitely needed help. Rakesh aggressively represented me causing them to offer me a settlement offer I could live with. For someone that is easily intimidated by courts and lawyers, I was very satisfied with Rakesh's ability to relate to me, understanding what I was going through, and making sure the judge and other lawyer knew it too. I would certainly recommend him to my friends.

I really have all my hopes on her lawyer’s and stuff. am very sorry and disappointed. On my immigration case. They didn’t even give me in out date on my case I pay them to get a police report so that I didn’t have to do it my self. And when I talk to the layer that Lucy assigned to the task She told me she couldn’t do it because she was in a private investigator. Nevertheless they will took my money for it.

We are not recommending Ms Lu's service and here is the reason why. Ms Lu was recommended by one of our friends. We worked with her on our marriage based green card case. During filing, they got my husband's father name wrong and didn't change it until we mentioned it until the 3rd time. Since our case had some issue with government and it's not an easy case. The case has been extensive delayed for more than 2 years before our actual interview happened. We asked for her help about checking with USCIS several times, but after following up with USCIS "once". She simply told us to pay more to file a lawsuit with USCIS. However, that was not recommended by the other lawyer since we got some complicated issue involved. Eventually we had to contact USCIS on our own and felt hopeless. After we finally received our interview notice, she immediately asked us to pay her another fee in one week or she would terminate her service. We asked how she could help with our case twice before paying her and she never responded, so it forced us to find another lawyer for help and represent in interview with us. This has been a very awkward experience. We were very disappointed and felt like we paid for someone that didn't care about our case at all.

Ms. Litt is a knowledgeable and pleasant attorney to work with; however, she missed a critical deadline for a filing stating she was missing some information from our file. Upon meeting with Ms. Litt a third time, I provided the duplicate information and had the sense that my case was not a priority. She resolved our matter, but not I did not feel it was within a timely timeframe. Upon consultation with another lawyer after the fact, it became clear my fence/easement dispute should have taken half the time it took Ms. Litt to complete.

Upsetting experience!! Attorney John Andrle has been completely unprofessional. After multiple contact attempts by my attorney for over a period of a year, John has not responded to him. I’ve been attempting to solve this HOA matter for which I am falsely accused for over two years. His lack of communication is ridiculous. It seems that he is out of town more than he’s is in the office. He has refused to talk with me on the phone and wouldn't allow me to see them in the office in order to settle the matter. It has been nothing but one excuse after another. Only after seeing my 1-star review, did he respond via email to say that I needed to remove my review or he would sue for defamation. He also said if I removed my review, then would he send over a settlement offer. I did remove my previous 1-star review and replaced it with a 4-star review. Needless to say, it’s been months and I still have not received a settlement offer from him. He sent an email to the HOA property management group, which I was cc’ed on, saying to please ignore her. In his last email, John advised me that he would not have any contact with me, he would only contact my counsel. Needless to say, it has been impossible to work with this attorney!

Our homeowners' association hired John and the rest of Cobb Olsen Andrle to help us work through some issues. We had a lot of people in our community who weren't paying their dues and our amenities were going downhill fast. We had hired attorneys from other big law firms who charged us a lot but didn't really do much- hardly even returned our phone calls. Then we hired John. He showed us how we could get people to pay their dues without having to resort to costly court hearings. He was professional, responsive, and honest- not the stereotypical lawyer. Not to mention, he's just an all-around nice guy and is a pleasure to work with. If you are considering hiring John, do it! Their firm is smaller than some so you'll get a lot of attention from the senior partners. They have saved us so much money, which we've been able to reinvest in our community. Definitely a great investment! I highly recommend John and his firm for any HOAs in the Atlanta area!

I wish I had seen the other reviews before I hired this lady. I can agree to each one of this review. I was referred to her by a close friend so I was excited to work with her as I had heard good things about her. She does not fight for her clients at all, she doesn't not listen and as a result is unable to communicate effectively. Just like others the defiant in my case walked away smiling. I hired Ms. Mcleod in 2019 to handle my Legitimation & Child visitation case, I provide a lot of evidence that my children's mother was not being fair at all. I made her aware that covid had affected my income and that we needed to reevaluate my income statement. She didn't do anything when we got to court. She barely barely made to court on time period because she lost track of her court dates, the court was held up for about thirty minute before she finally arrived. She allowed witnesses to testify against me that never met me before in life, without objected or questioning the validity of what was being said or presented. She didn't bring up the fact that my income went down, she didn't do a good job cross examining my me or my children's mother. Sho allowed false evidence to be admitted against me me, she basically sat and just stared at me as the lied on me. She didn't do any homework on my children's mom like the opposing attorney didn't on me. The case was rushed, we should have rescheduled the case for another date. The case was ran through, now I can no longer see my children because she mishandled my case. After court she ran to her car and never spoken to me again, or offered anytype of remedy to my negative situation. She could have advise me that I only had thirty days to appeal, witch I didn't know until it was too late. Now my child support if way more than i can pay and I am not allowed to visit with my daughter because of the blatant lies my child mom told that my attorney didn't even contest. I am stressed and hurt. I have exhausted all my funds and don't know what to do. She to this day 12/4/2020 never contacted me again.

Ironically, Maureen came recommended to me from a friend who was previously in a divorce proceeding and Maureen was hired by her ex-husband. My friend said, "Don't use my attorney, use the one my ex-husband hired as she was more effective." In my case, Maureen was able to quickly eliminate unreasonable positions presented by opposing counsel to get negotiations back to a reasonable level which allowed both sides to more quickly reach an agreement. While there is no such thing a good divorce, I believe Maureen saved both sides a lot of legal fees by helping us to focus on the real issues. I have referred her to two other individuals since then and will continue to do so!

I do not recommend this lawyer for I-601 waiver cases. Do not go to him for this. The ratings I gave were solely based on our experience with his knowledge with the I-601 waiver. Otherwise he is a good lawyer in everything leading up to the actual waiver. You could probably use him for anything his office offers and get a good outcome. We have in the past. However I strongly discourage you to hire him for the I-601 he is not up to date with what USCIS is wanting to see in the waivers. His staff is amazing I can say, really helpful and supportive.

I contacted the Attorney Generals Office to register a complaint of Fraud. I did so on line. They told me it would be a fee of $5.00 for filing, so I used a credit card. But before I could be connected to an attorney they wanted me to agree to an automatic withdrawal of $60.00 a month until I cancelled. This is another form of extortion especially since the Attorney General is paid by tax payers. Do not consumers have any protection by our government without them trying to extort funds from taxpayers?

What a Litigation Lawyer Can Do for You

A litigation lawyer specializes in representing individuals, businesses, or organizations involved in legal disputes. Whether you're the one filing a lawsuit or you're being sued, a litigation attorney will advocate on your behalf throughout the entire legal process. Their goal is to resolve disputes, either through negotiation, settlement, or trial. Litigation lawyers can help with a wide range of disputes, including contract disagreements, real estate issues, employment disputes, personal injury claims, and more.

Litigation lawyers provide strategic legal advice and manage all aspects of your case, from filing motions to representing you in court, ensuring that your rights are protected and that you have the best chance of achieving a favorable outcome.

When Should I Hire a Litigation Lawyer?

You should consider hiring a litigation lawyer if you're involved in a legal dispute that you cannot resolve on your own. Common situations include:

  • Breach of contract disputes: If a party to a contract fails to fulfill their obligations, a litigation lawyer can help you seek damages or enforce the agreement.
  • Business disputes: Litigation lawyers can represent you in cases of partnership disagreements, intellectual property disputes, or business fraud.
  • Employment disputes: If you're facing issues like wrongful termination, workplace discrimination, or wage disputes, a litigation lawyer can help resolve these matters through negotiation or court action.
  • Personal injury claims: If you've been injured due to someone else's negligence and are seeking compensation, a litigation attorney can help you pursue your case.
  • Real estate or property disputes: When there are conflicts over property ownership, boundary issues, or lease agreements, a litigation lawyer can assist in resolving the dispute.

Hiring a lawyer early in the process is beneficial, especially if a lawsuit seems imminent or you have already been served with legal documents.

What Does a Litigation Lawyer Do?

A litigation lawyer handles all aspects of your case, from the initial investigation to the trial and even the appeals process, if necessary. Their role includes:

  • Case assessment and investigation: Analyzing the facts of your case and advising whether it’s worth pursuing or defending.
  • Pleadings and motions: Drafting and filing documents to initiate or respond to a lawsuit, including complaints, motions to dismiss, and answers.
  • Discovery: Gathering evidence, including depositions, interrogatories, and document requests, to build your case.
  • Negotiations and settlement discussions: Attempting to resolve disputes through mediation, arbitration, or settlement talks before going to trial.
  • Trial representation: Presenting your case in court, examining witnesses, introducing evidence, and making legal arguments before a judge or jury.
  • Appeals: If necessary, filing appeals to challenge or defend the outcome of the trial.

Litigation lawyers are also skilled negotiators and often work to resolve disputes outside of court to save time, money, and stress for their clients.

How Are Litigation Lawyers Paid?

Litigation lawyers typically use a variety of fee structures depending on the type of case, the complexity of the legal matter, and the financial circumstances of the client. Common payment arrangements include:

  • Hourly rates: Many litigation attorneys charge by the hour, with rates varying based on experience and geographic location.
  • Flat fees: For specific, predictable legal tasks (such as filing a motion), lawyers may offer a flat fee.
  • Contingency fees: In personal injury or other cases where you seek damages, a lawyer may work on a contingency basis, taking a percentage of the settlement or award if you win.
  • Retainer: Some clients pay a retainer fee upfront to secure ongoing legal services. The lawyer then bills against this retainer as work is done.

The exact structure should be discussed in the initial consultation to ensure you understand how and when you'll be charged.

How Much Does a Litigation Lawyer Cost?

The cost of a litigation lawyer varies significantly depending on the nature of the dispute and the lawyer’s experience. Factors affecting the cost include:

  • The complexity of the case: More complex litigation involving extensive discovery, expert witnesses, or multi-party suits typically costs more.
  • Time spent: Litigation cases can be time-consuming, especially if they go to trial. The longer the case, the higher the legal fees.
  • Type of fee arrangement: Hourly rates can range from $200 to over $1,000 per hour, depending on the lawyer’s reputation and location. Contingency fees generally range from 25% to 40% of the settlement or award.
  • Stage of litigation: Cases that settle early in the process are often less expensive than those that proceed to trial or appeal.

It’s crucial to ask about cost estimates during your initial consultation to avoid surprises.

Top Questions to Ask a Litigation Lawyer

Before hiring a litigation lawyer, it's essential to ask key questions to ensure you're choosing the right representation:

  1. What is your experience with cases like mine?
Ensure that the lawyer has experience handling your specific type of dispute, whether it's a contract issue, personal injury, or business matter.
  2. What are the potential outcomes of my case?
Ask for an honest assessment of your case's strengths, weaknesses, and the likelihood of success.
  3. What is your fee structure?

How to Check the Credibility of a Litigation Lawyer

To verify a litigation lawyer’s credibility, consider the following steps:

  • Check bar association records: Ensure the lawyer is in good standing with the state bar and has no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Online reviews can provide insight into the lawyer’s professionalism and track record.
  • Look for litigation experience: Review the lawyer’s website or professional profile to ensure they have handled cases like yours and have a record of success.
  • Request references: Ask the lawyer to provide references from past clients who can speak to their effectiveness and approach.
  • Research their trial experience: If your case is likely to go to trial, ensure the lawyer has a history of courtroom success.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make your first consultation with a litigation lawyer productive, you should prepare the following:

  • A clear outline of the dispute: Provide a timeline and key details about the legal issue you're facing.
  • Any relevant documents: Bring contracts, emails, letters, or any other documentation that pertains to the case.
  • A list of key players: Provide the names of individuals or companies involved in the dispute.
  • Questions about fees and the litigation process: Make sure you understand how the lawyer plans to approach your case and how you will be charged.
  • Your goals and expectations: Be clear about what outcome you're hoping for, whether it's a settlement, compensation, or another resolution.

By coming prepared, you can ensure that your initial meeting with the lawyer is both efficient and insightful, giving you a better sense of how to proceed with your case.
