I was charged with an assault family member case last year and initially hired an attorney to represent me. However, I felt misrepresented due to poor communication and things not moving forward—I had no idea what was going on with my case.

After an accident with an 18 wheeler, we were totally lost on navigating the personal injury and medical side of things. We started receiving calls from the at-fault party’s insurance company trying to settle right away and knew we needed experienced help. I was a little hesitant to work with an attorney at first but we got connected with Chip Evans through a work referral program and he put me at ease right away. Chip is very down to earth, knowledgeable, never seemed in a rush and made us comfortable throughout the entire process. We felt confident at every turn that we were in good hands. He was very patient with my long lists of questions and helped us tackle the pile of medical bills. Chip's case manager Nancy was a pleasure to work with as well and went to bat for us on more than one occasion--including a last minute (and super stressful!) situation that came up less than 48 hours before back surgery. Chip and Nancy were both amazing--very helpful every step of the way and got us through what ended up being just over a two year long process. Chip Evans came highly recommended by a longtime friend who also practices law in Texas. I highly recommend Ramos and James Law Firm. I first contacted them after snowmageddon 2021 when I slipped on the ice and broke my wrist at a hotel. Many of the attorneys I contacted, did not handle slip and falls. Ramos and James took my case and sent me a contract to sign through my email. The entire process was completed with me living in another state. My attorney was friendly and professional and prepared me very well before depositions and mediations until I could confidently face the opposing attorney. He was kind and empathetic. The law firm sent me text messages and emails to communicate questions and keep me up to date on the proceedings. The best part about them is that even though it was a somewhat difficult case, from the very beginning, they were able to get me a settlement that went a long way towards making me feel better about the time I lost from work and my family while recovering from my injury.

As mentioned in the title, David is a real straight shooter. We obtained legal consultation from him and he didn't waste anyone's time in telling us our consultation was related to, but outside of his exact area of expertise. He explained to us that if we hired him he would need to familiarize himself with the subject matter, and that would require additional time on the case and therefore additional expenditure. He then recommended 2 attorneys who do practice in the subspecialty in question, offered a refund and upon being emailed 2 weeks later gave 2 more attorneys he recommended who could help. Some lawyers are dishonest, and do nothing more than pad their billable hours. I'd like to think that most lawyers have integrity and are honest. David however is a cut above the rest. His honesty, and candor are unparalleled by any other attorney I've ever worked with (which is a handful), and in hindsight I would have hired him on the spot 2 weeks ago, regardless of the additional money needed to bring him up to speed on the subject matter. David's level of integrity is hard to find in a profession which already prides itself and generally does pretty well in this trait.

Perhaps even more importantly, he was realistic with me upfront about what the process was going to be like, what outcomes I could expect and the ways he could help. Through a frustrating process of dealing with an irrational opposing party and unreasonable opposing counsel, David did an excellent job of moving my legal action forward to a successful conclusion. Extremely knowledgeable, great listener, finds several creative solutions. I was considering doing a sublease for a room in a house, and asked David to look over several lease/sublease documents for me. Not only did he save me from accidentally being responsible for rent on an entire house, he made several modifications to the sublease that made sure my rights were as respected as those of the other tenants. He also made sure that I didn't enter into a master lease that would've made me vulnerable to shouldering unfair obligations. He provided several solutions in the form of legal wording and advice on the lease signing process. He was intelligent, easy to talk to, listened, and cared. I give my highest recommendation!

If there as an option for 50 star rating i would happily place Mr. Forman that high without any hesitation. I personally would not want to find myself on the opposite side of Mr. Forman's client ever. Bryan resolved my case very efficiently and successfully before we even had to file a lawsuit against the defendant. I find working with Bryan easy and professional but what matters the most is that, unlike majority of attorneys, Bryan is hands on, very responsive and very punctual when representing a client. I had the occasion to consult with Bruce regarding a real estate ownership issue as it related to a minority stockholder, and also an insurance question. I felt that Bruce was thorough in his research and knowledge of those subject matters, and gave advice consistent with what was in my best interest. I feel Bruce can be aggressive when he needs to be, but understands the compromise necessary in daily life. I was referred to Tracy by a corporate attorney and I am writing in now to express my sincere thanks to Tracy for her outstanding lawyer services on my case. I had a complicated civil court case related to custody that went on for far too long in the county court (it was so very stressful) and then resulted in my needing to file bankruptcy (which just added to even more stress), following also an appeals filing to the custody case, as well. I served as campaign manager for Deb Fischer for U.S. Senate and Chris provided legal counsel to the campaign. He did a great job of answering my questions in a clear and timely manner. Mr. Amini (though he would insist I call him Neema) is an aggressive and reasonable attorney. By that i mean he has no problems going toe-to-toe with opposing counsel and seems to be downright, coldly comfortable when things get heated. But he is reasonable too, does not lose sight of what the other side might be thinking, and seems to be concerned more with solving your problem than dragging out a case and billing for it.
I hired Mr. Amini because of a dispute with a business partner of 20 years. While we never had any conflicts before, suddenly all we had were conflicts and because we did business on a handshake basis, we did not have documentation for most of our agreements. While Mr. Amini explained I should get everything in writing in the future, he was able to establish the existence of previously denied agreements when grilling my partner in deposition.
Once we had done that, we were in a much better place to settle, and Mr. Amini explained that while we could possibly get more money if we pushed on further, I would end up spending most of that on increased legal fees, and so he suggested I consider settling. I was originally pretty emotional and wanted to go for the win, but I was surprised Mr. Amini suggested something which would mean less legal fees for him. So I discussed it with my wife, we agreed that we would be better off settling and so we did. He negotiated a great settlement for me and my company and now I turn to Mr. Amini for any legal questions I have. I feel like I have found my attorney for life.

I hired Mr. Amini for two cases, the first one somewhat involved and the second relatively simple.
In the first case, which went to trial, Mr. Amini was brilliant with his closing argument. We being the Plaintiff, I expected opposing counsel to speak last, but the judge surprised me by giving us the opportunity for a rebuttal. If Mr. Amini was surprised, he didn't show it, doing a great job with the rebuttal as well.
We won the case. Mr. Amini's preparation complemented his abilities, even working through a holiday the day before trial. I think he really enjoys winning.
As I said, the second case was relatively simple, but it was more important to me and needed to be dealt with quickly (in about a day). I don't know what Mr. Amini had on his calendar when I called, but he was able to work it in and scale back his approach to what was appropriate. Another thing to consider was that the "opposition" was not hostile and could be trusted. Mr. Amini was able to provide reasonable advice, represent me and get what I wanted without alienating anyone.
I feel like I made a new friend. This is just a great guy to have on your side. But look at that photo. Look at that Spock-like exterior. That's what he's like in person when he's working on your case. He's all business, not someone you would want to go up against.
