I read the past review about Jaime before calling him and knew immediately I'd like this guy and what do you know, 10 minutes into the call, he has me cackling on the phone. I've spoken to dozens of lawyers at this point about my landlord-tenant case, but I can say that out of all these people, Jaime truly cares for your wellbeing. Not only could he relate to the issues I've been dealing with, but he also shows compassion towards me, and is honest, transparent, and thoughtful in his responses. You'll find lawyers that want to take your money and rake up the charges, but I can tell he'd spend the diligent time fighting for my rights to ensure I can sleep soundly at night.

Jaime is a beast at this. I called this man with a situation that had me so mad i couldn't even explain to him correctly . I hung up because at this point i was so mad that im sure he could not understand me. He kindly called me back. I yelled at this man from the top of my lungs assuming he was going to treat me as other attorneys i tried calling prior to Jaime. Some even saying i dont understand you, you sound chinese. This man took his time to research and recommend me some actions i should take towards my situation. Somthing other attorneys could not provide me with. He did all this for free ! I suggest you stop the search and give this homie a call .

Jaime spent one hour and 12 minutes on the phone with me painting the reality of the legal system here in NY for a naïve dork who just moved here and was scammed. He was direct (one big reason I just moved back to the East Coast) and helped create a new angle that may help me with my challenge before I have to jump and swim in a whole heap of bureaucratic mess I would prefer not to play in. I hope I never have to play with the law again after I settle into my life here in the big apple. I felt there were enough things I experienced in my conversation with Jaime that would lead me to trust him. He tells stories in a way that truly helped me to see some of what I need to see. I had an excellent experience with Daniel Kron. From our very first phone conversation he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand. My case was what I perceived to be a difficult, high conflict case in regard to visitation and custody. It was a very tumultuous time for me and Daniel always took the time, generously I might add, to explain things thoroughly and to discuss strategy. From the beginning, Daniel was straightforward, concise, transparent and knowledgeable. We often discussed various options at length along with his recommendations and personal advice as to how he thought we should proceed. I felt as if we were working together, with his professional guidance. I found this to be invaluable as it allowed me to strategize with him. I trusted him implicitly.

My wife and I hired Gary after my I-485 process (adjusting from K-1 Fiancé to Permanent Resident) was denied by USCIS (owing to an error that USCIS made on my file) where they deemed I had abandoned the Adjustment of Status process. This decision created chaos for me and my wife, and it came as a complete shock (seeing as we had fully complied with all USCIS protocols to date). Before consulting with Gary, it appeared that our options to fix the situation were extremely limited and there was a chance that we might have to restart the entire immigration process again. Needless to say, my wife and I were completely demoralized at the prospect of incurring the the enormous cost and inconvenience of this option. However, upon our first consultation with Gary, he immediately put us at ease and provided alternative solutions to the problem. He explained to us that, in his extensive and lengthy experience, he had encountered similar situations and he was very confident that he could remedy the situation expeditiously, and without incurring enormous cost. Anyone going through the immigration process will know that the rules and deadlines are always changing, making it extremely difficult to know what the exact rules/deadlines are at any given moment. It became clear to us during our engagement with Gary that he was an expert in this area, and he got to work immediately to fix the situation. He was always aware of the rule changes, deadlines, and updates to the law. Gary stayed in regular contact with us, constantly updating us on the status of the various applications made and all contact with USCIS. Gary was able to resolve the matter within a matter of weeks (when my wife and I were expecting many months, if not a year, for some sort of sensible resolution). In early April we feared the worst, 6 weeks later (as a result of Gary's work) USCIS reopened our case, and yesterday, my wife and I attended my Adjustment of Status interview. In the interview, the immigration officer explicitly referring to Gary's petitions to USCIS on my behalf as being enormously persuasive in explaining our predicament, approved my Adjustment of Status application and granted me Permanent Residency . We are absolutely thrilled with the result. Not alone was Gary able to get our case reopened within 6 weeks, but he also managed to convince USCIS that our case needed to be dealt with immediately. As a result, I am now a permanent resident 11 weeks after engaging Gary's services. I cannot recommend Gary highly enough!

I am a big proponent of social media and word-of-mouth recommendations and after repeatedly hearing Irine's name, I knew I had to contact her. When I showed up for my first meeting with Ms. Bernstein, I was in a panic. I needed help in a divorce against my ex, who made unreasonable and unfair demands and I didn't know what my rights were at all. It was the first time I ever needed legal help. She calmed me down, explained every single step to me and always told me what would be coming next. I know for a fact that she has gone "above and beyond" for me several times. One example: At times, my case was a bit difficult, since it also involved my mother having a share in the family home. The scenario was supposed to go down a typical route but she got in touch with me a short while after we discussed it and told me she'd done some reading and we had another option. I never had a problem getting in touch with her if I had a question or if something worried me. Even if she had a court appearance for another case, I always heard from her on the very same day. I also appreciated that she had a sense of humor and could joke with me at the times I dealt with my stress in that way. There were also times I felt fearful of a confrontation and she made me feel better then too, telling me she'd make sure that didn't happen. I know I'm not giving this review in the glowing words that might impress other lawyers but I'm giving it from my own point of view. Someone who was so scared of the whole process and what might happen to me by the time it was over and I just want others in my shoes to know it can be bearable if you find the right person to help you through it. I can't say enough good things about her and I'd recommend her to anyone I know.

My divorce was lengthy and very emotionally draining. She was not just there for me all the time to provide the legal advice but she was there as my mentor and a life coach. He is also very knowledgeable. I was purchasing a home in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn in 2005 and the seller wanted to stay on as a tenant for 2 years.
