As with any legal matter, it is likely an emotional matter for those going through it. You don't usually PLAN to hire an attorney but when you do, Lori Keeton is who you need. I had the fortunate/unfortunate need to call Lori due to a business matter that needed a heavy level of expertise. She not only calmed my fears, but she expertly laid out my situation in a way that made it seem way less frightening. Lori's communication skills are incredible - personable, thorough (you can hear her taking furious/detailed notes - she's not missing a THING). Missy & Megan came through in true time of need. Missy was referred to me through a friend, and I am so glad I went with her. Missy was informative about my divorce, emergency custody and custody. Megan was able to represent me in court and came prepared with all the documents needed to present to the judge. Attorney Spink was very helpful through my journey. I had received an underage drinking ticket from blowing a .01 out with my friends one night. I knew that I needed to hire a lawyer because I did not have time to go to court due to my job and school work. After researching I felt he was the best match for me to pick. He represented me in court and worked very hard to make sure my case was dismissed. I appreciate his time and diligence in this matter. I would recommend this law firm to anyone needing a great lawyer for Workmen Comp cases!!! Bob and his team worked long hours and months for me and my husband!! My husband worked at a company for 36 years!! And made him resign after 2 injuries! This was very heartbreaking and wrong in all kinds of ways! If I could leave negative stars, I would. Tiasha Wray was the worst thing that could've happened to my son during his custody case. I found and retained Ms. Wray trying to 1. Support a black attorney and 2. Thinking that she would understand the importance of my 2 grandsons having their father in their lives. I paid the $5000 retainer and received very little in return. She was rarely available and seldom returned calls. My grandsons endured abuse at the hands of someone in their mom's house and my son took the kids and reached out to Ms. Wray for guidance and she didn't return his calls. She was unprepared for court appearances and would continue the case repeatedly due to her failure to prepare. There is a loooooong list of points where she dropped the ball. I would be typing for days if I listed them all. We ultimately ended up having to retain another attorney for the case because of her poor performance. After spending $3500 more dollars to retain another attorney, we tried to recoup some of our money by contacting the NC Bar Association. She lied and came up with a list of things she claims to have done and only said we were only entitled to a couple hundred dollars, which we never got. It's cool though because karma is real and she knows she wasn't right. I would NEVER use her again, nor would I recommend her services to anyone unless you want to just give money away with no results.

Laura Noble was recommended to me by another lawyer that I know well. She agreed to take a look at my case to see if she felt that she would be able to assist me obtain a favorable outcome. A demand was sent to my former employer which unfortunately fell on deaf ears. Despite this, Laura kept continuing to advocate on my behalf until it became apparent that a decision had to be made on how the case could move forward. Due to her heavy workload and the actual case facts, she wasn't able to take my case through litigation but we mutually agreed that litigation wasn't the best avenue based on the circumstances. She also provided me with an additional resource should I decide to litigate my case. Laura was receptive, helpful, responsive, knowledgeable and fought hard for me. What I really liked about Laura most was that she was direct and to the point and told me up front what her expectations were and how she would fight for me. On March 12, 2021, a lady ran a red light when the car beside her turned right on red. She was on her phone. I was going through a green light. Needless to say, we crashed in the middle of the intersection. After hitting the front of my car, the impact caused her to spin around and hit my driver's door. That turned my car into a commercial sized van which caused me to t-bone him. Then, the van spun around and hit my passenger's door pushing my car across seven lanes of traffic. This accident totaled my Lexus convertible which was in mint condition. Cars like that with no accidents and low mileage are very difficult to find. I mention that to say, you can get another car. However, you cannot get a new spine. This accident herniated C-4 to C-5 and further damaged C-5 to C-6, also damaged C-7 to C-8. My life came to a screeching halt! Initially, I couldn't move either of my arms. The policeman at the scene had to tell me what happened because I only remembered the van and didn't know what caused the accident. I was going through a green light! On April 12, 2021,
I had neck surgery replacing C-4 to C-6 with two plastic discs, six screws and a plate in my neck.
I am saying all of this to let you know that I have been in five other accidents and never had to have surgery or miss work! After hiring two other law firms which were no help, I was referred to CRLegal Team. They believed in me and worked hard for very little money! One would think that since she ran a red light, this would be a no brainer! No, her insurance company saw me as damaged! How could I prove exactly what this accident caused!?! It’s almost sad to say, but I’ve worked with quite a few attorneys in my day. And Marc is one of the better ones.
I trust him, I like him, and he has often given me advice that I did not agree with at first, but came to see his wisdom. He has talked me out of things at times, and at times, defended my point of view to the utmost.
He and I have won a “David and Goliath” battle together, (we were David, obviously). And he has counseled me to stay out of court in other situations, and turned out to be right.
Now in our eighth year of business, thanks in part to Marc, I frequently pick up the phone or just email Marc to get his opinion on something. And that’s the highest praise I can give him.
Marc is not the least expensive attorney option out there, but he could wind up saving you a lot of money in the long run. And I can’t say that about all the attorneys I’ve worked with.

Rude behavior. Called him via my legal plan for a minor traffic violation and he said "yeah, I don't do that anymore, trying to get out of that business". I asked why and he hung up on me. I called back and he said he didn't know why he was listed, he had tried to get off that.
Basically not a good person and based on reviews, I see why his rating is so low.

Vernon has been absolutely amazing. A year and half after I had been injured at work and after receiving medical treatment, it was time to start the settlement process. I was given an offer and wasn't sure if it was good. I found The Sumwalt Group on Google and saw the 5 star reviews. I reached out to them to see if I could get some advice. Vernon was the one to call me and gave me some wonderful free advice on countering and what would be a good amount. Vernon has been absolutely amazing. A year and half after I had been injured at work and after receiving medical treatment, it was time to start the settlement process. I was given an offer and wasn't sure if it was good. I found The Sumwalt Group on Google and saw the 5 star reviews. I reached out to them to see if I could get some advice. Vernon was the one to call me and gave me some wonderful free advice on countering and what would be a good amount. He also looked over the settlement agreement I received to make sure it wouldn't mess up any potential social security/disability in the future. Vernon made me feel like he cared and like he wanted the best for me on this settlement and helped me to avoid having to hire a lawyer and drag out the process. Donald Vicini is an extremely knowledgeable attorney. I hired him to represent me and defend me in a custody motion initiated by my ex-husband. My case was unique in that it brought in many different elements into my case/argument. Donald is by the book, knows the law, is confident in the courtroom and made me feel at ease, as much as he could, through my day long trial. Along with NC statutes and precedent knowledge, Donald also has the rare gift of "going with the gut" or instinct when knowing what exhibits to show or questions to counter with. He doesn't waste time or badger witnesses. He cuts to the chase and I believe the judge appreciates the respect he shows to even the opposing party in the courtroom. Mr. Vicini tried my case in a county that he is normally not used to and I thought, initially, that his lack of having a reputation in my small town would be a negative, but it certainly wasn't.
