Michael has been an invaluable resource. First and foremost, he helped us craft a comprehensive client services agreement and flexible contractor agreement. These documents were designed such that they can easily be reprocessed for different use-cases. Because our company is smaller, this works great! Unlike the previous firm we were with, Rubric Legal (and Mike) takes a much more holistic approach to the law. Their billing subscription also provides us the flexibility we need. This isn't something we've found everywhere, but it's a deal breaker for us. We've really enjoyed working with Mike.

I spoke with Mr. Schenk for an initial consultation. He requested documents to be able to provide a fee estimate, which I sent 2 days later. Then I didn't hear back from him for over 2 weeks. After a week and a half, I sent him an initial email to touch base without a response by him. I left him a total of 2 voicemails and sent 2 e-mails over the next week requesting just confirmation that he received the documents and that they didn't end up with someone else. My final attempt/2nd email is the one that finally got a response stating that he is too busy right now. Despite me stating at the consultation that I finally had saved up enough money to afford an attorney and my life was hung up due to my issue, he now states he wouldn't be able to even start to help me for several months. He is unable to effectively communicate expectations, unable to communicate much at all, and is completely unprofessional. He wasted my time and caused me great distress being effectively ghosted by an attorney. I did not deserve to be treated like he has treated me.

Well prepared I NEVER worried about deadlines being missed or the wrong paperwork being submitted. From the very first call, I could tell that he would be a great consultant for my case. Even before officially hiring Brian, he was very invested in my issue, which made me want to hire him as my lawyer. The documents he has prepared look very professional and organized. She was a court appointed lawyer in my TPR appeal case and that's exactly what i got. We spoke over the phone ONE time and had only contact through email(if she would respond). Her brief had errors within the first page and lacked key point. I lost my appeal and now she doesn't email me back or make good with her word regarding last visit with my son. If i could give her less than one star i would. Hope your experience is better than mine.

Five stars doesn’t feel like enough to give this team, so I encourage you to read this entire review as what happened to my family was life-changing. Three years ago, my husband had a routine surgery and developed severe complications just hours following. The lack of care received following his surgery ultimately impacted our entire future. My husband is permanently disfigured and his relationship with myself and our children was deeply fractured. On December 17, 2021, I was accused of committing a crime I didn't do. I was slammed with 2 counts of Felony charges. I found Jennifer Speas to represent me. When I got to her office to meet her one-on- one, she was already prepared. She had analyzed my case and she was ready for a defense. She made a move to dismiss the charges but I had the most difficult prosecutor at that time so she refused to dismiss. Jenniferr was always ready for Trial because I insisted not to settle for any plea that would ruin my life. Jennifer also brought in another Defense Attorney who is equally good. She didn't charge me for it. She paid him from her retainer. She and the co-counsel were bent on defending me with everything they've got. They kept fighting and fighting for me.
We started the first trial in December 2023 but the judge dismissed the jury on day 3 because the prosecutor kept hiding information from the defense.
We were ready to start the second Trial on August 12, 2024. The new prosecutor dismissed the case on August 8, 2024.
I highly recommend Jennifer Speas for your defense any day. Don't think about it. Just hire her.
