I recently had a consultation with attorney, John Lang, who I highly recommend. In my opinion, John is an exceptional communicator. He knew just the right questions to ask to quickly get to the heart of the legal matter. Within a short time, John was able to accurately assess the situation and outline available legal remedies. I was impressed by his ability to share his legal expertise in such a concise and clear manner. Brian was assisting on a case for us and took over after the original partner left. it was construction litigation involving a project for a large public educational facility. Brian handled the discovery and motion practice that eventually resulted in a favorable decision and settlement. Brian was very professional and was able to objectively evaluate the case. I met Mr. Fennell when I was searching for an attorney for a bailment case that exceeded $250,000. I had just fired my attorney for not understanding the case. I interviewed 3 other attorneys and was impressed immensely by Mr. Fennell's intelligence and directness when discussing the case. Most importantly he included me in the case strategy and management and not once did he talk down to me or not include me in important decisions and factors about costs. Peter and the staff in his office helped us with a motor vehicle accident claim. He was always available when needed for questions. He was thorough and on top of everything throughout the process. There was 3 of us involved in the accident and when it was time to file the suit, he coordinated 2 other attorneys from outside his office so we were all represented without conflict of interest. This is a long process but Peter kept us informed throughout the entire process. While it does not help to get rid of the injuries and the pain endured on a daily basis we were able to reach an agreement for settlement with the insurance company. We found Howard on the last day when we needed to file an answer and he did not have a problem with that even in such last minute. It turned out he found the party's lawsuit baseless and convinced them to dismiss without ever going to court. Tim just settled a personal injury case for me. Second one I've had but WAY different with Tim than with my last lawyer. Unlike my last lawyer, Tim answered my calls (ALL of them), kept me up to date on my case, made predictions about what would happen next , how long it would take to settle the case, how much more we could likely get if we did A, B or C, whether we had been offered their highest and best, and he was right every time. You know, like he had done this a thousand times before and was an expert in handling the kind of case I had. He would even tell me why he thought the claims rep would be replaced with another one (which also happened about a week later!) and thta the new one would agree with our argument that the prior offer was too low. My last lawyer never called me back when I called, never picked up, didn't know what my case was about when I did hear from him and took almost FOUR years to resolve the case. I had to take time off from work CONSTANTLY too. Tim got it done in 6 months, I never had to ask him how my case was going because he would text and call me every time somethinig happened, and negotiated more money than I ever thought I would get. I kept wanting to accept offers and he would say, "no, not yet," not forbidding me but just advising that the insurance company would recognize that they needed to offer more. And he was right. BEST lawyer. Warm person too, free with any sort of advice for my entire family (never rushed me off the phone), which really helped out my family and saved my son's driver's license too.

This is the second time I've used Tim McEnaney for a closing, and the experience was even better than the first. Mr. McEnaney is to understand, very friendly and easy to reach (He even game me his cell number and I was able to contact him after hours and on weekends). Mr. McEnaney is very knowledgeable, not only about the closing process, but also about renovation costs (he's experienced in real estate investment and "flipping"), and about town code issues, variances, etc. Both times, he took his time to answer all over my questions (no matter how stupid) and never rushed our conversations to get off the phone. Mr. McEnaney even reviewed the inspection report with me over the phone and took the time to explain everything I had concerns about, which was quite a lot! ;) He really set me at ease and negotiated a substantial price reduction for some items that came up in our inspection. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. Highly recommended!

In all truth, I bumped into dialogue with Counselor Houslanger completely by accident, under the erroneous impression that his firm was the latest to inherit an old judgment, presumed to be still in effect and in force, naming my mother as the Defendant, while in truth and in fact he was NOT the Counsel of Record. Nevertheless, he gave me an audience, he asked me for the Index #, he had the means and the desire to take some initiative in researching some basics about this old story, and as fate would have it, my mother's old judgment had been ordered to be vacated some five years earlier in a certain class-action matter. Counselor Houslanger then went out of his way to offer some basic instruction for the proper Pro Se steps to remedy the judgment in the Court of the first instance, which I imagine would have worked nicely if the Court staff at my mother's venue understood the procedure as well as he himself does. Bureaucrats seldom see beyond the scope of their own responsibilities, however. This attorney possesses a keen insight to the needs and concerns of ALL with whom he speaks, whether he's getting paid to listen and respond or not. And as long as he doesn't have any equity or interest in the other side of the case or docket, I'll call Todd Eric Houslanger before I call anyone, whether the matter to be addressed is a traffic summons, a criminal arrest, a debtor judgment, a divorce proceeding, a CBP Global Entry Reconsideration Hearing, a charge under the Espionage Act of 1917, or even a FISA Court matter. Regardless whether he'd be equipped and/or inclined to represent and/or to assist in the representation, this is clearly a man whose interactions are ALWAYS a matter of consequence. My only regret is that I encountered this man some seven years after my brother was crushed to death by a subway train. If there weren't so many liens pending in the current cause of action already, I'd fire all current counsel yesterday, and hire Todd Eric Houslanger today, without even checking his record of decisions in such matters. He knows the law; he knows procedure; and most importantly: he knows to treat EVERYONE well, and to speak to EVERYONE with respect, DESPITE the fact the ones with whom he speaks DO NOT have a title or even a degree. THIS one's an ATTORNEY people. NOT a fast-talking, used-car salesman with a license to practice law. NOT some JD who passed the Bar, and believes his license GIVES him license to be ill-mannered. I'm fully mindful that his fortes are in prosecuting debt collection, and in defending traffic-related and criminal matters. But once every great while, a man comes along who is so brilliant, so personable, and so well-mannered, that one truly cannot tell what is beyond the abilities of Todd Eric Houslanger's legal acumen, unless and until one discusses the matter WITH him, and dares to ask if he can help. Some 40 years ago I dared to debate William Rehnquist when I was a high school senior. Anyone familiar with that name should understand what I mean when I say that Counselor Houslanger is a genuine attorney, and a brilliant, well-mannered, and thoughtful gentleman.

I had retained Stacy to help me dispute a debt collection matter. She was very knowledgeable about the Regulations and explained to me my defenses as a consumer. The end result was the company dropped there collection efforts because Stacy was able to prove to them they were wrong. In addition they wanted to charge me a collections fee and Stacy was able to have them remove all charges and take me off my credit reports. I was very happy with the overall experience and outcome. Let me start by saying Mr Kennedy is amazing. He is honest, truthful, smart, humble, straight forward, and gets results. I have lived in my building for almost 20 years. I was being threatened and harassed relentlessly by management and their employees for rent that was already paid.
