Initially great experience working with Lydia to draft custody doc quickly. But it’s worth noting that she does not have experience with domestic violence or cross jurisdictional custody. Really key items were left out of the custody document which I didn’t realize until almost two years later. When I reached out to her about it, she didn’t respond. There was no way for me to know these items needed to be included— that was her job. This is the type of mistake that means my child will grow up without knowing my family. It’s pretty serious and will cost me a lot of money to fix. If you’re looking for someone with experience protecting you and your family from a high conflict ex, I would recommend paying for a more experienced attorney who will go to bat for you.

I was referred to Scott to help review an executive contract for a new position- he was amazing! I'd never used a lawyer and did not expect such a warm experience. While I anticipated it to be very transactional Scott is incredibly empathic and takes the time to explain his thought process to be sure it makes sense. Scott also made sure to understand my situation before he spent the time reviewing my contract- he didn't want to spend his time and therefore my money if he didn't think he could help.
He listens and considers your view- while he gives advice he also navigates the situation pivoting when considering new information/ideas you have. Scott also takes the time to check in on you periodically during what is a complex emotional time when changing jobs.
Scott is also incredibly accessible- he took the time to meet with me on a weekend because he was going to be on holiday during a weekday, he didn't want to leave me hanging while he was away. He also responds quickly to emails.
Scott demonstrated he cares a lot about the well being of his clients, it is easy to speak with him and ask questions- this was important for me since I know very little about law/litigation.
I would definitely use Scott again and highly recommend him without reservation to others.

I met Scott on one of the worst days of my life. I'd worked with plenty of attorneys before and didn't have high hopes , just figuring he'd be moderately helpful and transactional while billing the heck out of me. I'm so glad I was wrong. Scott brings a lot to the table when you hire him to help you, ensuring he is worth every penny.
(1) He treats you like a human. I cried during most of our first week of conversations but he insisted on FaceTiming on day 1 so that he could let me see him and know that there was someone who cared on my team. It made an enormous difference to my ability to engage and survive in my own battle.
(2) He is patient and thorough, making sure you not only understand your options but nudging you to consider them thoroughly. He adapted to my complex learning style after just a few weeks.
(3) He's a brilliant strategic thinker who can help you find ways to win even when it seems like all is lost. At the same time he is willing to admit mistakes and open to others' ideas.
(4) He writes well and cares enough to be sure that his communications are very clear and accurate so they are received as intended. This is also strategic and a winning move.
(5) He is very clearly in law because he loves it and what it can do for people. I never had a single moment where I felt like a billable hour.
I plan to work with Scott on all matters employment until he retires. I don't care what he costs, I know it will be worth it. I can't say that for any of the other lawyers I've ever hired, nor for many other professionals in my life. This high praise is extremely well deserved.

I engaged/retained this firm after having trying to engage 3 other attorneys — who ghosted. My first contact was with Andi Paul who explained the process and set the tone that Id be working with decent human beings who would not merely treat this as a transaction. Scott Goldshaw was the only person I had to recount my situation — no repeating over and over. Scott provided some education that facilitated our having a common language and expedited our work. He consulted with me — establishing goals and expectations. We worked out an efficient process of collaboration where we shared resources and documents. Scott has a breadth of knowledge about the law and also various organizations in Phila - he is also known for litigating in court - which is a distinct advantage. But what was most important to me at this time was that, as Andi foreshadowed, this was consistently a human interaction. Importantly, it was reassuring to work with a lawyer who was familiar with PTSD. Every interaction was humanistic, trustworthy, and kind. The conclusion met our goals quickly.

In addition to being extremely thorough, detailed and knowledgable, David was understanding, compassionate and sensitive. Most importantly however, he listened. I’m beyond grateful and thankful for meeting Mr. Cairone a few years ago. Words truly can’t thank him enough for everything he has helped me with. My husband passed away from a 100% service connected disability and I was at a loss at which direction to go after his passing for legal matters that needed addressed. Being a young widow I feel that many attorneys/lawyers took advantage of me when it came to all I was facing. I met Mr. Cairone in 2016, almost a year after my husband passed, and started opening up to him about the hurdles I was trying to go over with certain legal matters. He took to my story and without question told me to bring all the files to his house so we could go over everything and see how we could approach this case. He was very open, honest, and communicative through the entire process. He never gave up on me. He never took advantage of me. He was the greatest blessing that came into my life and put in so many hours of work on my case with my best interest always at the forefront. We were almost at the four year mark of my husbands passing and he reached out to me saying let’s give this a shot and file a lawsuit against this company. I almost didn’t do it because at this point I was discouraged by all the legal ups and downs I had dealt with to this point through other attorneys. He told me to sleep on it and advise by end of week. After a few conversations with my parents and much contemplation, I felt that if anyone was going to be able to help it would be Mr. Cairone. He worked diligently on the draft for the lawsuit and sent over for my review. I felt that it was above and beyond and an amazing chance to have in this case. The next day he sent me another draft (even though I approved the first haha) and again I was blown away by the thought and detail that went into this revised case that would be submitted. He filed the lawsuit and talked me through what could or couldn’t happen. He said this can take time, like it has to this point. He always kept in contact with me and kept me updated on everything that was going on. A few weeks after the suit was filed he called with a very positive call. He said that it looks like who we filed the lawsuit against wanted to settle out of court. I was blown away but not surprised because I felt the case he submitted was very meticulous with detail and an amazing representation of everything that my husband suffered through. Within a month and half total the case was settled and we won the settlement. The appreciation I have for Mr. Cairone is life changing. I faced many obstacles on my own after my husbands passing. Mr. Cairone 100% changed my life. He has allowed me the opportunity to pick myself up from all that I’ve been trying to rebuild since my husbands passing. And again, he never gave up on me. I can’t recommend Mr.Cairone enough. If I ever run into another legal matter I will contact him without a doubt for advice or representation. Thank you so much Mr. Cairone for changing my life. You have blessed me and I hope to bless people the way you do until I’m no longer on this earth.

After lost hope and frustrations I was put in contact with Attorney Cairone. I had a consult regarding my legal issues and subsequently was retained. Attorney Cairone from the beginning was empathetic, professional and extremely knowledgeable in his field of expertise. I had an issue with my past employer at the time. As the issue was clear cut on the surface, the details were complicated, and I didn't know how to go about it and even if I should talk to an attorney. But when I finally decided to contact one, I managed to find Mike, who was nothing short of being helpful and understanding. Dealing with the tech industry can be pretty complicated but Mike was not only able to provide competent legal advice with a greatest candor, but also got the details of my work, and understood it to the extent that litigation went very smooth (and this is a great achievement on its own given how stressful legalities can be to a non-lawyer). I always felt comfortable and never felt overlooked by either Mike or his team at any time. Moreover, they were very supportive and flexible with a payment plan, offering a superb service all-around. After litigation, Mike was even empathetic towards my situation; he's not only a legal genius (you can tell when you talk to him), but also a good guy. We prevailed in court and I am as happy as one can be to leave all my troubles behind me. I highly respect Mike and if ever I have legal trouble in the future, he is on my list of people to reach out to if I ever need (for whatever reason that may arise).

I needed someone that had expertise with ERISA law and consulted with multiple attorneys before finding my way to Mike. I was dealing with a life insurance claim after losing my spouse. Needless to say this was a very difficult and scary time for me. Mike put me at ease from the moment I met him. He absolutely knows this area of the law extremely well and knew the proper way to handle this issue. I found him to be very fair and reasonable with the fee agreement. Great lawyer, very professional. Was very clear from the start about expectations and delivered a great outcome for me. The up front retainer was a little high although we were able to renegotiate that it was refundable and Stephen refunded the remaining funds once the case was over. Stephen was exactly the lawyer I needed when we reached out to him following my incident. He was very good at explaining the different options we had for contesting the case and also the likelihood of success and time lines. He's extremely personable and did well with the negotiations that were required.
I was charged with 6 offenses and was able to walk out of the courtroom with 2 offenses on my record and the main one reduced in severity. A very good result.
Stephen was very professional in all respects but particularly in the courtroom where it was obvious he was in his comfort zone. There were a few requests we had of the judge which were a little bit outside of the norm and Stephen handled them very well. We were able to get conditions added to the court documents making the probation part of my sentence much easier to handle.

Ive worked for my boss who owns a few gentlemans clubs and regular bars for about 19 years now and he has had Bill Morrin as our lawyer for years and I gotta say Bill and his wife, Liz, who works the front desk of his ofc, are the most genuine ppl ive ever met. Harry saved the day! I initiated what I thought would be a simple commercial property transaction and quickly realized that I needed legal representation. The other parties were not cooperative and my best interest was not a priority. We hired Mr. Cook for what we thought would be a small case. Unfortunately it did not turn out that way. The case involved an educational institution and we are thankful for Mr. Cook’s knowledge, assertiveness when necessary, and calm demeanor when necessary. He was also very kind and thoughtful to our family during this extremely stressful process. I don’t know what we would have done with out his level of expertise in the area of IEP‘s and making the educational institution accountable for their actions. Mr. Jeffrey Cianciulli was my defender in a lawsuit brought against me by people who had embezzled money from me. He was not only diligent in understanding and presenting the many facts about the case in my defense, he was amazing in the courtroom in speaking with the judge on my behalf, as well as being my staunch advocate in a mediation with one of the litigants. There were reams of financial information to go through in order to understand the full extent of the facts on both sides of the case.
