We were referred to Brian Hunt after an attorney had been hired to represent our case and after a year he had not done anything to resolve our case. I was in a relatively unique situation involving a car accident and was being held financially responsible, although I didn't believe I was solely at fault. I wasn't sure if it was even worth trying to fight. During the initial consultation, Mr. Leonard did a great job of listening, asking the right questions, and informing me of all of the possible outcomes. He was also clear about what his approach would be, and I left feeling like I had a clear idea of how he was planning to proceed.
I decided to hope for the best and hired him to handle the case. He kept me up to date on the progress of the case and did a great job communicating with me throughout the process.
I was incredibly relieved and grateful when he won the case for me, as it saved me quite a bit of money. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Leonard to any of my friends or family, and would use his services again should I ever find myself in a similar situation (although I'll cross my fingers that never happens :-)

Who says that lawyers can't be good people?
The first time I hired Scott was for a traffic infraction that I didn't have time to deal with. He did a great job of keeping me updated and keeping me from having to be bothered at all by the process.
The next time I called him, was for an auto accident where the claim process was dragged out by the other person's insurance company forever. Mr Leonard again kept me in the loop without letting anyone involved bother me about any of it.
I will never delete Scott's number from my phone and will never hesitate to recommend him to any of my friends or family.

I was hit by a car in February, 2015, and sustained debilitating injuries to my right knee. I stumbled across Tom's website online while researching personal injury attorneys, and couldn't be more satisfied with the service he provided me. Tom represented me after a bad car accident. I had injuries that required surgery and several months of physical therapy, and was also in the process of moving and starting a new job when the accident happened. Tom served as a kind and patient adviser during a stressful time.
When my medical insurance repeatedly billed me in error for treatment related to the accident, Tom's firm was able to resolve the issue and get my insurance to bill my PIP plan instead.
He negotiated the best possible injury settlement in my case in spite of low policy limits. The driver who caused the accident was covered by a notoriously cheap and difficult insurance company, and I doubt I would have received a settlement without a persistent and competent lawyer.
Tom was respectful of my priorities, in particular making sure that my settlement agreement was not harmful to the passengers in my car, who were close friends of mine who were pursing their own settlement from the at-fault driver's insurance.
Because of the policy limits involved in my case, it was never going to make a lot of money for Tom's firm, but they still provided me with excellent and thorough representation.
I highly recommend Thomas Adams.

Before I met Matthew Holland, I probably had one of the most confusing and sloppy divorce cases due to a crazy ex-wife that wanted money, to see me suffer, and take away my son. Matthew was my 4th and final lawyer on this extremely difficult case. I have learned, when one is in a litigation battle, it is necessary that you have all facets in a lawyer and law office. It is extremely difficult to find an attorney that knows the law in and out. Mr. Holland is accurate, thorough, fast at filing paperwork, and can dominate in the courtroom if the case is forced to trial. This guy did it all. Matt won an extremely difficult case and dug me out of a MASSIVE hole when I met him. He gave me my son back and my life. In addition to gaining my time with my son, Matt saved me from what could have been a substantial debt. It was super impressive to watch him work at his craft. He is an immense asset at Donahue law Firm in Bend Oregon. I owe a great thanks to Matthew Holland and his incredible paralegal Annalee Hoagland. I feel very fortunate to have come upon Matt Holland. I presented him with a complex employment contract with a medical group and hospital (25 pages worth of legalese), and he went through them point-by-point with me the very next day. He explained everything clearly, pointed out the 'draconian' parts, and reassured me that as a whole it was a fair contract. He charged less than average and yet I am sure my contract was reviewed with more care and close attention than it would have been at some big law place. Plus Matt was flexible about timing, and was willing to review the contract with me partly over the phone and partly at his office, even though it was late in the day. I looked him up on Yelp, and read his philosophy about law, and I must say, I am impressed by his professionalism and purpose. It's not every day you meet a lawyer who genuinely believes in the law and uses his training for good. This is not your stereotypical greedy or smarmy lawyer; this is a good guy. I hope I don't need an attorney in future, but if I do, I most certainly will return to Holland Law.

I went to Justin Baxter of Baxter and Baxter after an internet search, for help with problem with a debt collector. He treated me with respect and was very knowledgeable. He made sure that i knew my rights, responsibilities, how the case would be handled, possible outcomes, and possible risks.

This is the first attorney that came at me with a "we can win this case" attitude. Very knowledgeable and positive. Always stayed in contact with me, and kept me up to date with any and all changes with the case. Once we went to trial, presented an awesome case and had the jury deliberate for only 20 minutes and come back with a 12-0 not guilty verdict. And just for the record, there was a video of this alleged crime, and his case presentation was so tight, I was still found not guilty.

Jason took my call and we visited about a very difficult case. He was encouraging and supportive and absolutely amazing. Let me start out stating I was referred to Edward Fu, atty. In August of 2014. I had spent the prior 8 years caring for my very ill mother, while trying to maintain a full-time career, as well as, attempting to prevent myself from racking up a ton of debt in the process. This did not happen, and I was not proud of it. From the first interaction with Edward, I felt at ease. At no point did I feel judged, persuaded or pressured in any way. He provided me with a clear picture of my options (bankruptcy options), and a kind understanding of my situation. I was in no situation to be able to pay for a bankruptcy in full at that time, so I placed a small retainer, and continued to make payments as I could, once I had made all the payments we would proceed. Little did I know, this was the beginning of a professional relationship that would continue in the future. Jan 2015, I had a surgery that came with multiple complications, as well as, an inability to proceed as I had originally anticipated. Edward continued to remain patient, kind, understanding, and never pressuring. He was still willing to work with me, within my abilities.
Fast forward…. To March 22nd, 2018. My family member had passed away, leaving myself, as well as, other family members listed as heirs to his estate. Shortly (within 8 days) of his passing, I was feeling stressed with excessive pressure to get representation, due to the extremely hostile nature of and developing status of the estate. Immediately, my mind went to Edward and our previous interactions. I was now the young age of 30, with no experience dealing with an Estate, Probate, or Inheritance issues, let alone – certain if representation was necessary. To top this off, I was listed as an heir in the company of estranged family. This was the perfect recipe for turbulent waters ahead.
From the moment I reached out to Edward, he provided the most exceptional representation I could have asked for! I’m not positive exactly how may estate cases he had completed prior to mine, but I know this one was a doozie. The hostility from all 3 parties, communications between lawyers, cautious disclosure of information as not to disclose anything that could be used adversely against me, the list goes on….
Edward advocated for me conservatively and cautiously, he wasn’t at all after the financial gain an estate of this nature could promise, he was beyond tactful when addressing issues of a sensitive nature (while still protecting my best interest), and communicated fully with me along the way. Not one issue, item, or situation was addressed or resolved without my knowledge. If Edward didn’t have the answer, he wasn’t afraid to admit this, but would quickly respond with a thorough detailed knowledge of my options, the circumstances, and different scenarios after he had researched the issue of concern.
I cannot explain the level of genuine concern and care he has with his clients. His high level of tact and grace. Compassion and understanding. While maintaining the highest level of professionalism & representation. I have been truly blessed to be guided to Edward Fu in multiple times of stress, frustration, and anxiety. I was going through a very difficult financial period in my life, and had to file bankruptcy-Chapter 7. I was able to get assistance through Legal Aid, and I was extremely fortunate to get Edward as a pro-bono attorney.
He saw my stack of information, and stated, "I thought this one was going to be easy." He later informed me that I was one of the most complex cases that he had worked with and "learned a lot." For that, I greatly respect him and his work ethic. He did NOT put me at the bottom of his priority list, and had incredible perseverence to complete the case successfully. My bankruptcy was discharged without any challenges, and very clean. I could not and would not have attempted this on my own.
Edward IS a busy man, however, if you email or leave a voicemail, he returns your call or email that business day. His efficiency and sense of ethics make him superior in the legal community, and I enjoyed working with him.

When contacting Mr. Banks I had already been told by another firm that there was very little if any hope for our case...I knew our case was different in that it involved not just investment fraud..but real estate property. There were many pieces to the puzzle..and at times was hard to put together. Mr. Banks and his team spent countless hours putting things together..many times calling me after hours to go over things. I hired Andy to represent me after my girlfriend at the time threatened to accuse me of abuse, then apologized and told me that she was simply drunk and acknowledged that I would never hurt her, then punched me in face on a later date, then followed through with her threat to accuse me of abuse when I asked her to move out. On our initial consultation, Andy met with me personally and was attentive, professional, and impressive. Two days after the incident the police decided not to charge me. With Andy's help we discovered that this woman had a history of violence and abuse of the legal system with other partners. One of her partners warned that I should file a restraining order and to expect her to do the same as she had harassed him, thrown hot coffee in his face, hit him, and called the police on him many times while she was intoxicated and fighting with him about their son. She had me served with a restraining order while I was seeing patients in my office two weeks later. Andy helped me to reconstruct the events and uncover digital evidence showing my partner admitting on multiple occasions that she had fabricated her claims and that her previous threats of abuse accusations were nothing more than the result of her intoxication. Andy even hired a private detective to investigate my former partner. During this time my former partner continued to harass me, stalk me, and break in to the home we had shared together. Through all of this Andy was more than a great attorney, but a reassuring presence that helped to get me through this tough time. He always responded to me quickly and fully. I frankly don't know how he could show me and my case so much personal attention while doing the same for his other clients. But he did. This guy is an outstanding attorney and I couldn't have hired anyone better.

Securities offering; very large sum; many twists and turns including agreements between plaintiffs and co-defendants that were kept from the other defendant attorneys. During the entire case, Mr. Curley was well prepared (and ensured that others in the firm were also), knowledgeable about State law and the necessary filings, and always kept client informed. His ability to remain calm and focused in light of unexpected actions on the part of the co-defendant contributed greatly to the settlement of this case for an insignificant amount as compared to the multi-million amount asked for. Having spent 42 years in the private sector, Mr. Curley is without question the best negotiator that I have seen. When others were willing to settle, he refused and ultimately the case went exactly as he had predicted. He has a unique ability to understand the other side, their strengths and weaknesses, and their next steps. Ultimately, Mr. Curley managed a relationship with multiple attorneys within his own firm as well as attorneys for three other firms sitting at the defense table. His knowledge of the facts, his understanding of the potential outcomes, and his factual based decision making provided a solid base for the other attorneys and kept them focused on the long term objective when they might otherwise have been distracted by actions that, while irritating, ultimately had little impact on the case. Never once during the 3 year life of this case did I have to call and ask to kept informed, ask for information, or request to be involved. In addition, there was no animosity between the plaintiff attorneys and Mr. Curley and not once did I hear him speak in an unprofessional manner about the defendant attorney team. It was also clear to me that the judge valued the preparation and knowledge of Mr. Curley and the Miller Nash team. While curt and short with some others, she was always open and willing to listen to Mr. Curley and his team.There is no question that I would go to Mr. Curley and his firm again for any legal matter. Patricia A. Brockway, there's only one word I could use to describe her with and that is AWESOME!! AWEOME! AWESOME! She took up a case for my dad about a year ago and I've been working with her since then and all I can say is that she is AWESOME! She was friendly from day one. I had the pleasure of working with Sean Currie during my divorce case. Sean Currie was part of a team of lawyers who handled my case and to say that my divorce case was ugly would be an understatement of the highest magnitude.

If you're up against Ms.O'Kasey Esq, you better have one heck of a case and one heck of a lawyer. I had the honor to be desposed by her over a lawsuit where she was defending a Warren Buffet company. I had studied her work for a few years and she is definitely of a higher echelon than many of the ivy league lawyers that I had studied (cousin/in-law to my kids) J VanKirk and Others. She's highly competitive and will do things outside of the box to win. If you have to choose between O'Kasey or other prominent firms, Okasey's skill set, competitive nature and dedication to the art of lawyering is unmatched. She's the authority at court, judges listen to her. Very hard for any judge to go against her and perhaps would be an uncommon occurrence for that to happen.
