We had the pleasure of working with Joseph Flanders. My husband recently has been diagnosed with PTSD. He had not worked in almost a year. We were trying to get me on my husbands IRA account so I could get money out of his IRA He was not able to answer simple security questions to take money out to pay off some bills. His Financial Institution said we needed to make me his guardian. Which he did not need. I reached out to Joe to see if he could help us. He agreed and we are so glad he did. He was very compassionate about our situation and bothered that they were not allowing this. He said a Judge would not sign off on a Conservertorship because my husband did not need one. He suggested making me his POA. That didnt work. He kept at them. He kept telling us I am not giving up! His hard work and determination paid off. Thanks to Joe we will not lose our house and are able to pay off bills that accumulated during this time. He actually cares about his clients. Thanks Joe!

I have legal insurance through work and this lawyer was on my list to call. I called about a case that is very intense and I have no idea how to navigate it. I was upset at the other paryties' actions and was trying to explain what happened. I was trying to learn what to do and if he could help. He told me these cases can get messy and implied he didn't want to deal with it. Then he told me like others above, " I don't think I want to work with you". I WAS SHOCKED!!! Why? What did I do! Was I intense, YES. Was it directed at him, NO. We are talking about my son, of course I was worked up, anyone would be!!! I don't think I would ever want to work with a lawyer like that, or recommend anyone waste their time even calling Joe. No I never used him or was never a client of his. Thank goodness, I'd be worried about my case with a lawyer that can't even handle listening to the details of the case. How would he deal with court and the judge or other attorney coming at him?

Joe helped me with my estate plan, and also some title work. He was very responsive to my initial inquiry and was very helpful when I met with him. In addition he was very knowledgable about the law and provided information about estate planning that I didn't know, which was really helpful. He didn’t know my story until in one week before my court. He didn’t announce me about my court date, after than he didn’t answer my call. Secretary was so neglected, and arrogant. He also took 410$ for work permit and made a mistake several times so I had gotten the permit in 1,5 years.

Around mid July of 2023, I had met with Gene Adkins from Hitchcock Law PLLC to formally sign the appropriate papers to be filed with the courts to establish my deceased grandmothers estate. Up until this point, all interactions with Gene and Hitchcock Law were timely and professional with no cause for concern. Approximately one week later 6/26/2023 Hitchcock Law deposited the $2,000 retainer check as requested and discussed during our initial in person meeting. Since sending payment to Hitchcock Law, the estate papers were filed with the court but quickly rejected due to an oversight from Gene which took place on 7/12/2023. It was not until 8/12/2023 that I had reached out for an update to be informed that there was an issue and new papers needed to be submitted; no communication on behalf of Gene or Hitchcock Law. Since then, I was told new e-sign documents would be sent over to make the requested corrections, and two months have since passed and there has been absolutely no progress. ZERO communication has been initiated by Hitchcock Law in regards to these concerns. $2,000 dollars and almost 6 moths later I am still at ground zero; a complete waste of time.

I am a local immigration attorney who needed some legal counsel from this firm. They came highly recommended by another well known attorney. Unfortunately, this firm is a HUGE disappointment to all consumers alike. I hope someone at big business reads this review. There is no onboarding process for this firm. None. You are at the mercy even as a colleague of poorly trained staff and assistants to get someone to pay attention to your case. The communication with this firm has been awful. Emails unanswered. Phone calls ignored. The firm waisted about 2.5 months of my client's case only to send a snarky response that they decline to represent, which is not what we were looking for (we needed a second opinion on case value). The employee (law clerk) who was assigned to our case left midway our project. No one got back to us on that. In sum, take your business elsewhere as I would say this firm has a chronic internal management problem that will continue into representation.
