I'm business broker. Had to find closing attorney to close on business my client was purchasing for his immigration visa L1. Many attorneys didn't want to deal with our difficult transaction. I initially dealt with Atty. Robert Hitchens. He was very accommodating and so helpful in keeping our deal together. When the buyer preferred to add more documents to the deal, they had no problem to prepare them at the same day. We corresponded with Paula there, and she was wonderful too. She answered emails quickly and was very professional and efficient. Closed on the day I asked for. Prices are reasonable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

Rachel impressed me from the very beginning. You often go into a consultation with trepidation that your best interest won't be the priority. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rachel. My father passed 3 years ago and after a number of circumstances his trust has been managed by a bank. Jason helped my husband and I through the process of a deed in lieu negotiation on a rental property we had. The process was long and tedious, and he was always there to answer our questions and calm our nerves. He kept us informed, helped us with preparing all the papers necessary for the banks, dealt with the bank's legal department and attended court sessions. My daughter lost her life due to a medical disaster. We wanted to make sure this did not happen to other families and that this institution had to change. Jason has represented me several times and provided advice & counseling many times. Jason is absolutely the guy that you want on your side. He defines partner and combined with his knowledge, skillsets and commitment I would want him on my side and not the opposing me. Our biggest challenge together was litigation that lasted over two years and resulted in a major victory for us of $500,000. The opposing side threw everything that they could and never hesitated to take the low road. A couple of times my anger & frustration motivated me to respond on the low road but Jason’s ethics kept me/us from going there - in retrospect I’m very glad for his guidance. I especially appreciate how Jason keeps me informed and consults with me. I have had other lawyers take the position that they’ll take care of everything and want me on the sidelines. We hired Ms. Everist of the Clarie Law Firm to represent us in our attempt to counter the State of Florida. The State filed a motion to change the custody of a year-old foster child who had been with us since birth. At no time did it appear that the State had the best interest of the child in mind. With less than a month to prepare, Ms. Everist and her co-counsel, Ms. Peggy Senentz, put the petal to the metal. Ms. Everist was exceptionally knowledgeable, and thoroughly put together an argument that easily prevailed in the 6th Circuit Court. The hearing itself was lengthy, requiring a day and a half of testimony and arguments. Ms. Everist demonstrated superb court presence and demeanor, even in the face of dire tactics by the opposing attorney. She then followed up for the next three months as we slogged through the obstacle course that concluded with our successful adoption of the child. I would heartily recommend her for similar cases.

I was involved in a car accident that left me in a wheelchair, unable to work and worried how I was going to deal with everything that was happening. A friend recommended Mrs. Kravitz and said she would handle my case and help me figure out the myriad of worries I had.
I met Jovita and was immediately impressed with her professionalism. Equally important to me I was simply impressed with her as a person. I suppose any attorney is capable of doing the legal side; I was worried about being treated as another number by an attorney. With Jovita that was nor ever has been the case. She was empathetic as well as knowledgeable which personally was important to me.
My case settled in what I felt was a timely fashion all things considered. Additionally, I was happy with the settlement Jovita was able to obtain for me. Further, even though I'm no longer her client she took the time to follow up and ask how I was doing after recovering from my injuries. That gesture was greatly appreciated.
I hope I never again need the services of an attorney but if I do I would hire Jovita again without hesitation.

Jovita Kravitz handled our case with personal care and attention. When my husband was hit by a car while riding his motorcycle, not only did we have to deal with and worry about his recovery and the intensity of his injuries but to top it all off the driver of the car was irate, unreasonable and just downright rude. The case involved requesting the court to assign an independent professional guardian to manage my aging mother's health care and finances, in place of a family member who had a financial conflict of interest and also lacked health care expertise, resulting in rapid erosion of mother's health and mental capacity. The incumbent family member counter-petitioned the court for guardianship. The result, thanks to Ha, was that the judge assigned a guardian who is independent of all family members and is doing what is in the best interests of my mother.

A severe hail storm rolled through our neighborhood in the summer of 2020.
That following spring, several of our neighbors had their roofs replaced due to damage inflicted by the storm.
We reached out to a contractor who worked with our insurance company so that we could also replace our storm damaged roof. Over the course of a few months our contractor went back-and-forth with the insurance company showing them time and time again—proof of significant damage which had left the integrity of our roof compromised. Meanwhile, more and more of our neighbors we’re having new roofs installed just about every week.
It was infuriating.
It wasn’t until we reached out to Michael Labbee with PHL for help and guidance as an intermediary in the process that we made any traction.
In fact, it was almost immediate.
Not even a week after we had reached out to them…they came back with a significant settlement from our insurance company.
We will now be able to join our neighbors and replace our roof appropriately.
10/10 would use Mr. Labbee/PHL again for any issues that may arise where they could be of assistance!

I had a serious injury, emotionally devastating and physically debilitating. My wife and I were fortunate that some one recommended Jeff Colman and Andy Klymenko.
They were able to find coverage where 9 out of 10 lawyers wouldn’t have and they stuck with it through the highs and the lows and came out with great results for everyone. Never once were they not fully engaged in our situation. You read about this kind of lawyer the hero who sticks by his client through it all. I feel funny saying it, it sounds so cliché but it’s true! This happened for us we lived it. They never wavered. Their work was of the highest standard…we know this because opposing counsel commented on the brilliance of our team.

I was rear ended on April 28, 2016 and had injuries to my neck. I did not want to be stuck with medical bills so I chose an attorney without a billboard. I went to all my medical appointments, physical therapy, and procedures (facet blocks, epidural, disc decompression) to ease my headaches and neck pain. I had headaches most days. The at fault insurance company originally offered a low ball settlement which would not begin to cover my medical bills. My attorney (who is awesome, did most of the leg work, and worked extremely hard for me) brought Chad and his wife Carrie Lambeth Pilon on my team on January 31, 2017. Both Chad and Carrie have ALOT of experience dealing with this particular insurance company and they enjoy the challenge. The at fault insurance company brought up an on the job injury I had in 1999. I didn't even remember at first. I am a nurse and I had strained my neck/trapezius lifting a patient in bed. Chad and Carrie obtained copies of my workmans' comp case which indicated that I went to physical therapy for about three weeks and never had any problems afterwards. My case was resolved by May 19, 2017. It just took a little while to get the details worked out, and then we were delayed by the court for about a month. The at fault insurance company agreed to pay the maximum. I was relieved, since the medical bills will be covered and after attorney fees I will have enough for future treatments if needed. Chad and Carrie Lambeth Pilon will fight for what is fair and just.

Jamie is so friendly. In the past I have been bothered by other attorneys because it was hard for me to relate to them. With Jamie I had no problems here! She spoke to me regarding my business like a person and didn't confuse me with all of the legal terms that can be overwhelming with starting a new business. The consultation is $250 for one hour and she really breaks everything down for you. She asked a lot of questions about myself and the business I am starting. She doesn't charge by the hour, but charges by the project. Super predictable fees. I didn't realize the actual cost of starting a new business (with registration, operating contracts, and insurance) but I will be hiring Jamie in the spring!
