We're a nonprofit that uses subcontractors to teach workshops and provide storytelling coaching, and over the years, we've developed a good deal of intellectual property such as workshop templates and handouts. Our subcontractors also have access to things such as survey results and participant contact information, so we determined that we should have a subcontractor agreement in place. I reached out to Andrea, and after meeting with me to discuss the specifics, she drafted an agreement which we are now starting to use. She was super helpful throughout the process, answering my many questions with not just the "what" but also the "why". It's a huge relief to have this new tool that will help protect the org's proprietary information - and set clear expectations with our contractors. I hired Attorney Arellano after being sued by another person who claimed that I owed her money. This allegation was not true and there was absolutely no paperwork to show I borrowed any money. I found Attorney Arellano knowledgeable, professional, and able to navigate through the production of documents. The other side eventually backed down when faced with a professional litigator. Do not believe the false information in the newspapers and on this website; these were people should have been prosecuted after trying to ruin his reputation. As a surgeon, I appreciate people who just get the job done. Ms. Packard certainly did that for me but in a very compassionate manner. I was terminated without cause after decades of working in the same practice. She fought for me and I thus received a severance package that makes me pleased that they terminated me. She was worth every dime I paid her and was always compassionate when we spoke. She definitely fought harder for me than I would have.

In November of 2008 I retained Tamara Packard to assist me in resolving a dispute with my former employer. From the initial meeting to the signing of the negotiated agreement two months later, Attorney Packard acted dilligently, professionally, and assertively on my behalf to bring about a settlement I was more than pleased with.
My former employer is a small (100 employees) privately-held company. It was reluctant to provide the information necessary to establish a fair settlement. Attorney Packard countered their attorney's every argument against releasing information with her superior knowledge of applicable labor laws.
I completely trusted her advice during the negotiation of a severance package, and I have no doubt that she got me thousands and thousands of dollars more than I could have, on my own.

Mr. Oconner helped me obtain a civil judgement against a store that fraudulently got me to purchase their product that I would not have purchased if I would have known all the ingredients of the product. During the whole time while he was doing all the legal work to obtain this judgment he was very helpful to me by always explaining everything that was happening. He would always answer any and all of my questions either by phone or email right away. Often times doing so after business hours as my job had me working until after 5:00 pm. Mr. Oconner was always very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend him to anybody that may need legal consultation. If a situation ever arises, I won’t hesitate to call him!!!

The journey for the dissolution of marriage from my wife was not an easy one and has been emotional and had several unanticipated turns throughout the case but Ryan and his office showed their care, concern and support throughout the whole process. We worked with Hetzel Law Office, LLC on a personal injury case for our young son. The case took over a year due to delays caused by the defendant, and Ryan and his staff keep us informed throughout the entire process. After moving from Michigan to Wisconsin in late 2019, one of my top priorities was to revisit my Estate Planning Documents that were completed in Michigan with my family attorney there. My goal was to ensure that my documents complied with Wisconsin law.
This project was a special priority for me since my wife had passed away in March of 2019, and my intent was to locate a competent attorney who specialized in Estate Planning. So I started making telephone calls to numerous attorneys in this area listed in the Yellow Pages. I had many questions for them. Finally, I found the Frozena Law Firm. After asking the receptionist several questions, I made an appointment.
After my first appointment and having a very informative and productive meeting with Angela Frozena, who was very congenial and very knowledgeable. She briefed me regarding what additional information I must provide her, so we setup a future appointment for after I returned from vacation in Europe in three weeks.
Upon returning from Europe, I returned to Frozena Law Firm for my second appointment. At this appointment, Angela had already received the documents from my former attorney in Michigan, and had the draft of my new estate plan prepared, and sent the documents via encrypted email to my home in Racine. After reviewing the draft documents, I returned them to the firm for finalization.
At my final appointment, everything was organized and Angela had already made arrangements for the witnesses to be present. Everything went so smoothly, and I was impressed with Angela's knowledge, efficiency, sincerity and her positive attitude. Her professionalism is second to none. And along the way, Angela and I communicated via telephone and email.

Mike has done legal work for me both personally and for each of my past three businesses over the last 15 years. He has helped me with employment related issues, purchasing and selling my companies, disputes, as well as general corporate legal work. He knows not only Wisconsin employment law almost better than anyone, but is also a great litigator/negotiator. In late 2014 I decided, along with two partners, to start a small business developing smartphone applications for Android and Apple devices. My partners and I decided to move from brainstorm to business after we realized we could be making money on our fun side coding projects. We quickly found out that having an idea for a business is much different than actually forming a business.

From the first call to Mr. Duquette to our final resolve of our case with the Village of Williams Bay Mr. Duquette made my wife and myself feel as though we had nothing to worry about, as the Village of Williams Bay did not understand the law as the Village had written it. At the Village board of zoning appeals Mr. Duquette was able to explain the law to the board of zoning appeals. We stood before the board with Mr. Duquette and the board finally realized it was probably in their best interest to allow for our variance due to many mistakes that were made by the Village Building Commissioner and the board of zoning appeals lack of knowledge of the laws they way they had written them. Could not have accomplished this WIN without James Duquette. His staff and James were are very responsive and James is on target with our need and ready to assist us in the future if we should need his services again.

Marcella worked hard to get me the best settlement from the insurance company. When the accident happened I worried about being able to take care of my family. Ms. Thomadsen was referred to me by a friend who is also an attorney, but does not specialize in real estate law. We had a complicated property-line dispute with difficult circumstances around adverse possession. We were able to meet with Ms. Thomadsen fairly quickly. She spent more than ample time with us during our consultation learning about our situation, and then educating us about the law, and all of our options. When we decided to hire Ms. Thomadsen, she was clear in what we could expect from her and what she expected from us - when and how she billed, etc. With each exchange of information and updates as we moved through the process, Ms. Thomadsen would take the time to review scenarios and next steps with us. She never pressured us to choose one option over another, but instead provided information, support and her experience so that we could make the best decision for us. I had an extremely complex business "divorce" when my business partner and I decided to separate our practice. With the assets and holdings in excess of $20 million USD, we needed an expert. Chuck did not let me down at all. The division went extremely well.
It should be noted that I began this division with another lawyer in town. The cost to undo what lawyer #1 did was expensive. Do not waste your money on some of the lowball attorneys in Oshkosh. This is your guy.

My life was up-ended by a husband that wanted a divorce after 33 years of marriage. After the initial shock wore off, friends suggested Chuck as he was a pit bull in the court room. Having never worked a professional job in my adult life, I had no idea that I was entitled to not only 50% of our joint marital property and savings/retirement accounts REGARDLESS of whose name they are in, but also spousal support from my ex.
Chuck listened to me cry, yell, and be crazy, never complaining or poo-pooing my calls.
In the end, I am better off without the cheating husband - and I have money to start my new life. Thanks to Chuck Hertel I am financially set even after my ex said I would never get my hands on his practice or retirement in his name!!!

Had a very challenging trust with differing levels of gifting. Other attorneys in this area seemed in over their heads with our complex trust. This guy knows trust issues and workarounds. He is a business guy (mostly deals with banks and other corps) but does private stuff as well.

While building our new home we had to part ways with our original builder due to plans not being followed and finished the home building project with a second builder.
I talked to two other attorneys that were closer to my location but I chose Anthony even though I would have to work with him remotely because he was not condescending and got back to me within a day (usually hours) instead of days or weeks.
Anthony always responded to my texts, phone calls and emails very quickly. His attitude, approach, knowledge and professionalism was extremely helpful in getting to the end of a difficult new home construction that took 2 years, 2 builders and multiple legal letters. The legal letters were very helpful in getting people to do the right thing when their workmanship or service was poor.
Through multiple issues Anthony helped me understand the different options and then helped me execute the approach.
He also handled any of the difficult contractors that usually wanted to run over me until I started sending their communications through Anthony.
In the end the money I paid Anthony was well worth it and I was very pleased with the outcome (without going to court) regarding ALL of my construction issues.
I would recommend Anthony for any building or remodeling issues.

I had asked SEVERAL attorneys (including our closing attorney AND our family attorney) and most of them told me just to forget it. ONLY when pressed, the closing attorney (not my family attorney who I count on mind you) told me that we should take it to small claims court at least. All the other people in the transaction made us feel equally helpless and like there was no recourse..including the realtor the home inspector and a few friends, acquaintances and neighbors, etc...all we kept getting was like "too bad"..there is really nothing you can do..or "the same thing happened to us"...TY SOOO much attorney Murdock for letting us know that its not over yet!
