I was involved in a motorcycle accident in November of 2023. The worst mistake I made was not contacting Glen Larson Law sooner. I waited two months after the accident to get them involved. I never would have thought that the at fault insurance company would deny liability with all the evidence in my favor, but they did. Even though I waited to contact them, Glen and Marco worked extremely hard to gather all the evidence to help support my case. I was pleasantly surprised to hear they managed to get the body cam and dash cam footage from the responding officer the day of my accident. They managed to get the other insurance company to back down and settle for the maximum policy amount! They always kept me updated on my case and would proudly recommend them to anyone in a similar situation!

I felt that Lisa always was there for me and she was calm and in control which helped me a lot. She was also very experienced working with lawyers on the other side and different mediators too and that gave me confidence also. There was plenty of drama and twists and turns and Lisa kept us in control and moving forward. She also understood my priorities (kids) and focus and never lost sight of that. Lisa had strong co-workers too which made me feel like we were a team. In the end she was able to make sure the settlement was relatively fair and reasonable and she was able to get it done as efficiently as could be hoped for. Lisa is also a really good person which helped me every step of the way too. I’d definitely recommend her to a friend going through a divorce.

I hired Brett to help with a Regulation CF offering. He modified my Operating Agreement, drafted an Offering Agreement to investors, and educated me on what he was doing every step of the way. He is an outstanding lawyer and is easy to talk to. He made sure to protect my company in every possible way. He is well versed in security laws and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. He did an extremely well job drafting all the required documents I needed and he did it all in a timely manner. His prices are very fair and much better than anyone else I called (and I called a lot of lawyers around the US!).
Overall, Brett gets six out of five stars from me and I will definitely hire him again, if need be.

Mary Louise Phelps surpassed any expectations I had for my divorce attorney. Going through the proceedings was a very scary ordeal for me being that it involved money, businesses, and most importantly my two children. I was very nervous about being in the wrong hands. She by far did not disappoint though! I knew after my first meeting with her that it was going to be the right fit. She was there for me any time of the day, and truly had mine and my kids best interest at heart. Mary Louise is an incredibly organized person which was crucial for such a complex divorce such as mine. The first meeting I had with Bryan Forman, I knew he was the one I hoped to have represent me in pursuing funds (mostly retirement)
I was not able to get returned by a broker I had done business with for over 10 years. At age 70, I discovered that I had been taken for a ride. Not only could I not get to my money, I could not get any records either, nor was the broker's company or FINRA any help.
Bryan listened, and was able to explain to me exactly what the laws say, what rules and regulations are applicable, and what he could and could not do to help me recover any money. I certainly did not hide my anger since I had already been trying to deal with the broker for 2 years. Bryan, however, acknowledged my frustrations while keeping the focus on recovery of funds. I found that he was very honest in what the actual possibilities were, and I always felt that he was working for my best interest.
I cannot overemphasize how Bryan's knowledge of how a brokerage business works (he formally owned one himself) affected my case. In mediation he brought up a policy that brokerages have that even the experienced, opposing attorney didn't know about which ultimately helped my case and brought some restitution!
I always found Bryan available for consultation and I certainly appreciated his willingness to explain things to me. This was also
true of his assistant, Melody Bounds.
As a result of having Bryan as my attorney, I have received some restitution with a possibility of more to come.

Appears to have excellent knowledge of the laws and procedures that were or could have been utilized in my case. Has many outside contacts locally and nationally to contact for information and for second opinions. Bryan did a good job of presenting, or formatting my case to work best for me. He presented the case well in mediation and linked people to the liability side, beyond the first level. If there was anything that Bryan might have done better, it would be in the area of the settlement amount. The individuals, that were liable in the case, gave there financial positions, which was broke, none of which was truly validated. Settlement amounts were partially based on these, unsubstantiated claims.

I had the occasion to consult with Bruce regarding a real estate ownership issue as it related to a minority stockholder, and also an insurance question. I felt that Bruce was thorough in his research and knowledge of those subject matters, and gave advice consistent with what was in my best interest. I feel Bruce can be aggressive when he needs to be, but understands the compromise necessary in daily life. Bruce is an accomplished litigator, and was referred by another lawyer who felt Bruce was more qualified in the litigation area.

Going through a potential divorce, I did my research on collaborative lawyers, and found Jennifer. She was incredible - really impressed to also learn she only does collaborative cases ( or did at the time ). Not only was she extremely helpful, but she was incredibly caring. She gave me a book helping people going through divorces. I was bummed when my ex chose not to use collaborative, so I went with another lawyer Jennifer recommended. However, I cannot say enough good things about Jennifer - very highly recommended!

Jennifer made me feel at ease the moment I walked in the room. She answered my questions and gave me great advice in a time of stress. I was able to complete my divorce in a timely manner. She was able to negotiate with my ex-husbands lawyer effectively so that each of us felt like we were heard. Her mediation and negotiations skills made the process much easier than it would have been with a different lawyer without these skills. Divorce is probably one of the most stressful things in anyone's life. Kathleen had the disadvantage of entering as my second attorney. After a failed mediation and a too quiet and too sweet attorney, I found Kathleen. My sister-in-law had testified for her in a case and was incredibly impressed. I soon concurred. Kathleen was honest, real and told me the truth - not what she thought I wanted to hear. Exactly what I wanted and needed. She found the perfect mediator for us (I do believe there is an art in picking the right mediator for a client!). Kathleen allowed me my emotions (believe me, there were a few!) but also kept me focused on the things that mattered. She's smart, great with numbers (accounting background) and a wicked sense of humor. Everything I could have asked for and more! I ended up with my kids (#1) and all the "real" money (#2). Only wish I had started with her and saved myself 8 months of grief!

I hired an attorney over the summer to handle a custody case as my kids were in a dangerous situation. In sixty days this attorney took me through two losing trials and ended up billing over $65,000. In the process she managed to upset two judges.
In the end my children were left in a more dangerous situation than had I done nothing.
I felt I had let my children down and was more than disheartened. That said, I could not give up and leave them in the situation they were in. I decided I needed to try again with a new attorney.
I was recommended to Kathleen’s firm by a friend. As you can imagine I was skeptical at first as my prior experience was so disheartening - I felt it was all about "billable hours".
When I met with Kathleen one of the first things she said was “If I ever have something on your bill you don’t agree with, tell me and I will take it off”. I was still skeptical until I received my first monthly billing.
In short, her billings were concise and understandable. More importantly, she took five minutes, and billed five minutes, to do a five minute job. Through about four months of engagement I never felt like I was being miked for time, and never felt I was treated unfairly.
We ended up in mediation - which is a lot of waiting. Even in mediation Kathleen said “I can sit here and speak with you and bill you for my time, or I can work on other cases while we wait.” Having been through other mediations over the years there is a lot of waiting time. This is the first time I had been given this option!
With that said, it doesn't matter what an attorney costs if your children are not taken care of.
My end result is that after about four months of working with Kathleen I have my children with me full time, child support is reversed (with me receiving instead of paying), and I am able to move my children out of state – almost unheard of in a custody situation. I ended up being billed about a quarter what my previous attorney had billed in just two months over the summer – AND most importantly I got results that keep my kids safe!
I have worked with many attorneys through businesses I have been involved with through the years. It had always seemed like a game of “how many hours can I bill you for”. I absolutely did not feel this way with Kathleen.
I could not recommend her more highly. She is absolutely the best attorney I have ever worked with.

Kathleen Coble was incredible during my divorce. She is intelligent, strategic and personable. She was extremely impressive during the multiple depositions that were required. Keith came highly recommended from a friend whose husband serves as a Judge and who spoke highly of Keith's reputation for doing what is fair and just for the children of divorce. Barbara was on my original divorce case in 2012 and has recently represented me on a enforcement issue around child support. She really knows her stuff and does not give false hope about the situation. However, she is also very kind, compassionate and really cares about what happens with the kids in these situations. My case on it's face looked very straightforward but it turned out to be very difficult and time consuming. She stuck with me through 3 difficult mediations and always had her eye on the final outcome. She was always focused on the long term picture and was very good at keeping me from getting stuck in the small stuff. I would highly recommend her as an attorney and a mediator. I would certainly hire her again!!

There's a myth as one searches for a great family lawyer that in order to get results, you have to hire a bad *** - who will treat your former spouse (and probably you) like dirt, but it will be worth it because you will get results. Joe is proof that you can work with a fantastic, caring human being and still get the tough negotiation skills needed to get the results you desire.
As a former lawyer myself (JD, LLM), I can affirm that his knowledge of family law is thorough & detailed.
If I had to do it all over again (hopefully never), I would select Joe every time. He made a troubled time bearable and saw that I got the things that were most important to me during my divorce & custody battle.

Joe was recommended to me by a Defense Attorney whom I trust and respect as "the one I would go to if it was my Divorce." Joe 'literally' does Family Law , as both his Son and Daughter followed him into his profession and are the second and third Attorneys in the Milner Law Firm. As Bob Bowman, a Mediator, put it: "I couldn't think of a better recommendation than to have your own kids want to work for you!" Joe was attentive, concerned, and supportative, and more importantly, was perceptive as to the attack plan of the opposing Counsel and how to counteract it. He also was able to uncover deceptions and expose false statements made by my Ex during deposition. We ended up settling our case,and although we did not go to trial, I was able to walk away with the things that mattered most to me and he helped me engineer a plan to cut the chains that had been laid out to bind me financially to her for the next 6 years. If you are the "good guy" in a Divorce, you can't do better than Joe.

my case took 3 years. Arva and the entire staff always calmed me telling me we had the truth. I was always kept informed of events. Mr. Howard was an answer to my prayers! I can't say enough about my experience with him and his staff. I was 5mo pregnant with my first child and involved in a car wreck. I tried to go it alone at first, but the other driver's insurance was giving me the run around. I called around, but it seemed like no one wanted to take my case since I wasn't severely injured. I wasn't looking to profit from the accident, I just wanted the bills I incurred to be taken care of since the accident was not my fault. The other driver even received a citation, and his insurance still was refusing to pay! I started getting collection notices and calls, and was feeling completely overwhelmed. Then I found Mr. Howard and his team. He took over everything, so all I had to do was focus on getting ready for my baby's arrival. The whole process was drawn out due to the other insurance company, but in the end Mr. Howard recovered more than what we had hoped. Throughout the entire team he sent me updates, and always made me feel as though I was a priority (even though I didn't have some huge settlement for him to profit from immensely). At the end when we had to sign papers to finalize the case, he even met us at his office on the weekend. As did his notary even though she was in the process of moving that day. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend his services to anyone in need!

I was involved in a motorcycle accident in November of 2023. The worst mistake I made was not contacting Glen Larson Law sooner. I waited two months after the accident to get them involved. I never would have thought that the at fault insurance company would deny liability with all the evidence in my favor, but they did. Even though I waited to contact them, Glen and Marco worked extremely hard to gather all the evidence to help support my case. I was pleasantly surprised to hear they managed to get the body cam and dash cam footage from the responding officer the day of my accident.
